I have no idea who he is Is he any good?

I think he's a pretty good actor but I don't really see him fitting in with the rest of the team (I guess maybe he could.....) I can't think of seeing him in any TV shows off the top of my head - only movies - and lately it seems he's had smaller parts.....but he's been in quite a few movies.

i agree with you ILTS, when you say that he doesn't fit in. I don't mind him at all as an actor, but i dont see him with the team AS a team. more like...the team and him. but im probably being picky because ive gotten so used to Gideon there.

Me too! But maybe I'm just stereotyping based on the characters I've seen him play.

I'd only be able to think Spock. I'm being kind of tough on the suggested people aren't I? Another reason why I'd like to see a no-name person.....I wouldn't have any pre-concieved ideas or stereotypes about them. I might have an easier time accepting them - but then I didn't know who Paget Brewster was and it's taken me a long time to accept her so........

I didn't realize they'd have so much trouble finding someone for a top ten show. You'd think people would want a big part in a successful show!

I keep reading "wasn't keen on "the nature of the show." I'm sure it must get trying, almost scary.....I'd think both Lola and now Mandy sleep better at night.

weird, I was so excited to watch Criminal Minds...finally on TV characters like SSA Jack Crawford...(ironic about harvey keitel) and newby SSA Clarice Starling....now they are both gone....although character Gideon was not really like Crawford (Silence of the Lambs).

so after picturing and very quickly un-picturing both Geena Davis and Harvey K.....again do we want some old fart thats "old school", grouchy, bitter and nearing the end of his FBI thread....or someone as brilliant as dr spencer reid?? or.....the pencil pusher...

agghhhhhh we are going to get a "person"...and I hope we (US DIE HARD FANS) get an explanation about his character....

ie CBS is pleased to introduce and announced today as "Senior Supervisory Special Agent Michele Sindona", a Criminal Psychologist with vast knowledge expertice in Forensic Science......MR GEORGE CLOONEY!! lol

i think we should get some more "eye candy" lol...i just want someone who "fits"...although that will be EXTREMELY hard. and...chances are, im not gonna like the new character until AT LEAST season 5 or something...took me a while to <start> to like emily.

In a way wouldn't that be easier for the show too? I mean odds are they wouldn't have to pay as much and a young actor/actress trying to break into show business would be much more willing to work the long hours without as many demands.

I don't really understand why, since the show is established, they need to get a "big name"

and now we have our guy! He's defintely unknown to me anyways
