-> General Rules

While the world that this site is based on may be overridden with chaos and disorder, outside of the realm we have a few basic regulations that need to be followed. Although most of this is monotonous common sense to most, sometimes we all need a little reminder. =P

1.) Have some respect. Do not bash other members/people or argue excessively--other than being discourteous, it's also annoying to some and does not put you in a good standpoint where others are concerned. And it shows how immature you really are, arguing and bashing people over the Internet. Besides, quarreling with the admins will not get you anywhere but in a worse position than you are already in: Admins are always right. ^^
* No excessive or profound swearing or use of profanity in any way. There may be younger members here, who don't really need to be reading or viewing anything blasphemous. And the use of all colorful words whenever you post again follows along the lines of immaturity--seriously, if for whatever reason your character is that angry, find a better way to show it than " !@#$%&* " Mild oaths are permitted, but don't abuse it.
* Kind of in sync with the above, don't post any images that are not appropriate to normal people. It may be perfectly fine to you, but to us, it's not. Thanks.
*Even if religion or politics is brought up, which it should not be, do not criticize or bash. It's offensive and only fuels a huge fire of angry words and hard feelings.

2.) Within the realm of RPing, any inappropriate scenes or descriptions are not allowed. Gore, adult or suggestive themes, and other foul content will be deleted. No one wants to know those details.

3.) No spamming. Spamming means no short, irrelevant messages repetitively. It's just annoying, and again demonstrates immaturity.

4.) Your posts have to be legible, which means you have to be able to read them, for a RP post or otherwise. In non-RP boards, chatspeak is allowed to an extent, but not everyone speaks multiple languages, and if you try to communicate in chattalk, most of us won't know what you're saying. And the whole point of a forum setting is to converse in some way, so...

5.) Concerning RP posting, anything that does not relate to your actual post should be included in "OOC" - Out of Character, and the actual post as "IC" - In Character. Ex. :

6.) Please stay in touch with your character's personality. Ex.: If you're charrie's laid back and all, they're not gonna rip someone's throat out just for saying something. If they're the mean type, they're not gonna be all nice and cuddly to a stranger. You get my point?

7.) Your character's name must be the same as your account name, and only one character per account. This makes it less confusing, so we know who has what character. If you need your account name changed, just PM one of the admins.

These rules are relatively simple and easy to follow them, so don't make a fool of yourself by breaking them. If you accidentally do so a few times, that's acceptable, but if it is repetitive, then that is a problem. Just keeping updated with this and obeying them should keep you out of trouble and make all of us happy.
