I posted this thread on the old EZ Board and thought it was worth transferring over here, hope no-one minds.

Don't despair - there is usually an easier way than reformatting your hard drive. Providing you are running Windows ME or Windows XP, all you should need to do is firstly make sure your anti-virus definitions are up to date, then switch off system restore. In Windows XP, click Start>Control Panel>System then click on the System Restore tab and put a tick in the switch off system restore box.

Restart your pc in 'safe' mode (usually by pressing the F8 or F2 key after the first beep but before windows starts). Once in safe mode, run your antivirus scan and let it remove everything it finds.

Shut down and restart your pc normally and switch system restore back on.

Following this procedure ususally removes all known viruses and saves you having to reformat.

The way I do it is to click on my user name.
A new page will come up with my user info.
On the bottom of this user info screen there is a icon that says all users posts.
Click on this and it will bring up a new screen that shows all the posts you have ever sewing-online.com]made[/url].
