History of Cove Weyr
The basic rundown on the history and events that occured during the weyr's history. Updated each new turn!

Cove Weyr takes place during the early 9th pass of Pern. AVIAS is/will never be found during the timeline for us. The southern continent was rediscovered and people began to populate it once more. A large group from a souther seahold set out on a trip to find better fishing spots. As they explored, they found a large beach with mountains that started right back the shoreline. They fishing turned out to be plentiful so they gathered a few more willing holders and began building a new Hold. Using the caves in the mountains, they established Coral Hold.

During which time, it became painfully obious that the Southern Weyr alone could not handle the job of covering the entire southern continent, nor could they easily assist the new Hold as they were so far away. It was decided to send what few riders they could spare to start a new weyr. After much searching, they found a hidden cove not far from the hold that was surrounded by moutains on all sides. It proved to be a perfect location and so Cove Weyr was established.
