What a difference a year makes, Addison

Mark steppeded inside of the observatory,not knowing exactly what kind of surgery was going on down below.He knew that if it was a big case he would have heard something about it so the fact that he hadn't known anything about it proved that it was something simple.

He needed a place to think.He was not usually one who pondered a lot of different things,but this particular thing he was definitely pondering.He and Addison were finally on stable ground and they had been for about a year.He wanted her to know that despite how rocky they had been for years,Mark didn't regret any of it.He still had not proposed,choosing to wait until the chemo was done for good and until he felt better.

He sat down at the far back of the observation area so the interns could learn by sitting up front.He had still never gotten the hang of teaching the interns anything.He was more interested in teaching his children things than the interns.Addison still told him that he needed to treat the interns with respect and stop trying to get them to collect his coffee and other various non-surgical duties.Mark was trying to change that,but it was hard to show interns respect when they made so many mistakes.

Addison had been scrubbing out of a surgery. She was tired and all she wanted was to go home a cuddle up in bed with Mark. Actually, she wanted to do more than cuddle, but she knew she had to behave because, even though Mark had been feeling slightly better, he wasn't in top conditions to endure a whole night of earth-rocking sex.

She walked out of the scrub room and she heard an intern telling another that Dr. Sloan was in the gallery watching a procedure. That struck Addie as odd, but still, Mark was a dedicated man at work and that might have given him a chance to practice the rpocedure in his head.

Addie walked into the gallery and saw Mark there. She hadn't changed from her scrubs and for some God forsaken reason she was still wearing her scrub cap. She quietly sneaked in and sat on her boyfriend's lap. She pressed a soft kiss to his lips and smiled. "Hi baby." She whispered as if to not disturb anyone.

Mark was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't even hear the door open which would have signalled that someone was coming in.It wasn't until she was sitting on her lap that Mark realized that the person who had walked in was his Addison.Not that he was possessive,but knowing that she loved him and that she wanted to be with him was amazing.He never thought they would be as stable as they were now.Feeling her lips on his was amazing.He didn't care if a hundred people were watching them right now.He kissed her back and mumbled"Hey babe."againat her soft lips.He was oblivious to the childish wolf whistles coming from the interns.

"I was thinking, that maybe we could skip out on our last hour of the shift, buy pizza and go home to the kids." Addison said. Though that wasn't exactly what she was thinking. What she was thinking is that she wanted the kids to be babysat for the night while they had the night to themselves. Sex included of course, but if Mark wasn't up for it, then they could cuddle and just be together in bed and have a grown up conversations. Lately all their conversations consisted of Tonka Trucks and Barbies and honestly, Addison was a bit tired of the same routine. She wanted excitement, she wanted life. She wanted to feel like a hot, sexy, desirable woman. Addie leaned in, hearing the whistles, and devoured Mark's lips. "How did you know I wanted just exactly that?" Addison asked before she bit his lower lip sexily. "I want to go home and spend the whole night screaming thanks to you." Addison whispered his ear. She bit his earlobe wanting to turn Mark on beyond the point where he could say no. Addison pulled the scrub cap from her head making her red tresses fall onto her shoulders. She shifted demurely and ended up slightly straddling him. The interns kept whistling at them and Addison was enjoying the attention. "Are you going to let them keep whistling at me like that, baby?" Addie teased him with that sexy smirk of hers.

Addison always looked sexy in her scrub cap.Mark thought that she could look sexy no matter what she was wearing.Especially if it was nothing.Mark wanted to make Adidson scream his name over and over again.He knew that he could make her scream very easily.When Addison bit his earlobe,Mark gulped,trying not to get so turned on while they were in public.When Addison moved and was straddling him,Mark put his hands on her waist and stared into her eyes"Let them watch babe."Mark whispered before he lowered his lips to her neck.If it was any other day,Mark would have yelled at them and kicked everyone out,but right now he was so distracted by Addison.

Addison laughed softly and kissed his cheek. "Are we giving them a live showing of a porn movie or a preview for what's coming tonight? Oh wait, I'll be the one coming tonight." Addie laughed. She couldn't believe she was being this slutty in public. She was Mark's whore, but that was in the privacy of their locked bedroom. "Mark, baby, let's get out of here. I'm sure you don't want them enjoying a fraction of my naked body." Addison teased him. She teasingly pushed her hips forward, successfully stroking him through their clothes.

Mark was smirking when Addison mentioned giving the interns a live show of a porno film.He wished that no one was in there and he could take her right there,but he had to wait and Mark didn't do waiting well especially when sex was involved.He would not let the interns see her naked body.Mark was that possessive over her"Let's go Addie."Mark hissed just as he felt her stroking him through their clothes.He bit down hard on his lip to keep any sound from emerging out of his mouth.

"Carry me out of here. It's a dramatic exit after the preview they've gotten." Addison pressed her lips to his gain kissing him as hard as she could. A moan escaped her lips and the interns made more noise than before. Addison blushed and pulled away. She looked at Mark, silently begging him to save her from the embarrasment that she had set up herself for.

Mark could not believe that he was...well that they were so close to having sex in a room full of nosy brownosing interns.Mark vstood up with Addison still in his arms.Hearing her moan and seeing her blush was funny.Mark tried not to smirk,but he couldn't help but smirk a little.When he heard the interns making more noises,Mark snarled"Turn around and learn something or I'll make sure that your residency is complete hell."Mark was definitely willing to do that.

Addison wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's neck when he picked her up. When he threatened to make their residency hell, Addie kissed his cheek. It was a non-verbal way of telling him she agreed with him. Still in his arms when they walked out of the gallery, Addison smiled at him. "My hero." She laughed. "I have no idea what has gotten into me, but all I know is that I miss you." She said lovingly.

Mark knew that Addison loved him and agreed with whatever he said when he threatened the interns.Mark just wanted to get out of the gallery.When they did and Adidson spoke,Mark grinned in her direction.He had no idea what had come over her either,but he liked it"I'm right here babe."Mark reassured her softly.Mark loved her and he would do anything for her.

"I feel weird being this needy, but I... we haven't... sex has been..." Addison bit her lip and blushed crimson once more. "I miss our intimacy. I miss being alone with you. I miss having a grown up conversation that doesn't involve discussing Tonka Trucks and Barbie dolls. I miss your strong hands touching my body and leaving a hot trail wherever you touch me. I miss everything about us and just us, the two of us." Addison said. She felt slightly guilty and a bit ashamed for wanting Mark all to herself. She knew how much the kids adore him, so she felt guilty for shipping them away at the first sign of Mark being fine. The kids deserved to have him when he was fine just as much as she did.

Mark was startled with what Addison was saying.He thought that she really loved being a mom and wouldn't change it for anything in the world.He had to admit that he missed her too.He missed being able to hold Addison and kiss her and make love to her whenever and wherever he wanted to"I suggest you and I make a date night one night a week where we can send the kids to a friend's and do anything we want to do alone."Mark suggested softly as he leaned down and kissed her neck softly.
