Today is probably the worst day ever. It's with our deepest regrets that we have to write this. Chad Bingham Jr. passed away in his sleep last night. We found out this afternoon before we were set to play a show in New York. We've spent the entire day trying to come to grips with this and figure out as much as possible. At this time we're not sure what exactly happened. Just last night he was joking around with everyone before he went to bed. We can say with absolute certainty that he was not doing anything illegal. Please, out of respect to Chad and his family, don't contribute or succumb to any gossip you may hear. We don't want his memory to be tainted in the least. Once we pull ourselves together, we will give you the whole story. As his fellow editors, you deserve to know about his last moments days alive. Chad Bingham was more then just an editor to Code Wiki, he was the best friend you could depend on and the kid you would want your child to be like. He was truly someone who meant the world to us and his loss is unexplainable. You of Code WIKI should know, Chad was an active member of Code WIKI for over a year and he will be remembered as more then a guardian. He will be forever remembered as the boy who did his best in life. We will keep you updated with the news as soon as we find out more of this.

Thank you. I honestly don't know even like how to explain all of this. Never in my wildest dreams would I imagine this. It's so strange too. Just the night before he was making us laugh and fooling around. And then the next day...the rest is a scene that only plays out in our worst nightmares. I'll post in full detail everything that happened between the last night we saw him to the next day. I just want to thank you all for your help. This has been just one of the worse experiences of my life. I don't know what to do anymore.

How Tragic for something like this to happen to one of our good friends and editors, I believe that it is safe to say that all of our members will be saying a prayer for you and that we will all miss you from the bottom of our hearts.

I guess I have kept you all guessing about this enough. I will post the whole story about EVERYTHING later on tonight.

I just want to make 2 suggestions:

Rather then Chad being User of the Month. I suggest we create a part on the main page called "Wall of Remembrance" so he will always have a spot for us.
and a new page on code wiki

Just a little something to remember him by

I know it is asking much but its just my recommendation.

I understand if this would be declined.

I know many of you are wondering How Chad passed away. Honestly I am not sure. He did have some medical issues. He suffered from depression and was medicated for it as well as being medicated for anxiety attacks but that is all I am aware of. And as far as I know he was well medicated.

I am still in shock over how someone so full of life just vanished like that. Nevertheless, it happened and I will try to be strong through it

I don't think anyone will reject the Wall of Rememberance, it shall be a page to remember all the editors who have made this wiki what it is today and it is a great honour to have Chad as the first entry to that wall.

If I had a glass and we were all together, I suggest that a toast would have been made and since we are all far away I guess we should do it here:

Alright well here is the story of the last day we saw Chad. Be warned its not very pretty.

It was March 26th and we we're on our way to New York City to play a small show at a Hard Rock Cafe. We we're driven on a large bus that we had rented and everyone was in good spirits. We left at around 8:00 pm and we were to play the show the next day at 6:00 pm. The bus ride was fairly long but entertaining. B-rad and I we're looking up facts on card tricks on his laptop and Matt and Chad were playing poker with our friends John and Marcus who had tagged along. After B-rad and myself had messed with them all with some card tricks, Chad eventually caught on and turned the tricks against us as I expected him to.

By now we were about halfway there and Chad, Matt and I we're discussing some random rumors we heard at school and doing impressions of the vice principle. After we had finished the nonsense, we had arrived at New York City right by the Hard Rock Cafe we were set to play at about 9:30 pm. The bus we rode on had bunks so there was no need to rent a hotel room.

The Hard Rock Cafe Manager kindly allowed us to park in his parking lot and invited us inside for some food and to discuss the upcoming show. After that we set out a sort of picnic thing out side in the parking lot. It was nothing special just a few chairs and a plastic table. Chad and I found some funny joke sites on his laptop and we we're poking fun at them. One was an emoticon add that popped up and sung Aladin. Chad jokingly sung the songs off key and over emotion and we we're all laughing.

We then blasted some music from Avenged Sevenfold and Chad, Matt, John and I danced in the parking lot like fools. At about midnight March 27th the manager asked us to take the party inside his bus. He was already nice enough to let use his parking lot late and making him stay late. We all headed inside the bus. Chad and I stayed behind to clean up the mess. We talked about some of my personal issues recently and somehow the conversation did drift to Code WIKI. Chad joked and said he hadn't made an edit in quite a while and claimed he needed to get his butt into gear. Honestly we did kind of make fun of Wael and Kfan. But nothing to rude, more of making fun of their insults.

After we finished the mess we headed inside the bus and did pretty much nothing except impersonations of each other for about an hour. I got tired and headed to bed before Chad which was normally never the case as I was always up later then Chad. I layed down in my bunk for about 15 minutes thinking about personal stuff before Chad came up and told me he was going to bed finally. I said "Ok well you need to go to bed." He said "Alright, well Goodnight" and it was weird. I could never recall Chad telling me goodnight. However, after he I returned the goodnight I eventually fell asleep.

I woke up at around noon. By now everyone but Chad was awake. At around 1:30 pm we we're a half hour away from sound check and Chad was still not up. B-rad and I went to go wake him. I remember boarding the bus screaming "Chad get your lazy A-- up!?". there was no response. I assumed it was normal. Chad always was a rather heavy sleeper so I figured I needed to shake him up a little. B-rad and I went up to the bunk and called out his name. He still did not respond. I pulled back the curtains of the bunk and saw Chad.

At first it looked like he was sleeping, but after a closer look, he looked pale. I tried shaking him. I felt his skin and it was hard and cold. It was such a cold chilling sensation I pray I never feel again...

At this point my heart was beating out of my chest. I tried shaking him and he was stiff. I cried out his name god knows how many times before me and B-rad went running out and we grabbed Matt and our Manager Tim. We all tried to wake him some more but there was no response at all. We all freaked out and ran outside and called 911 right away. It was Tim who made the call. I was out of breath my heart was pounding and all these thoughts we're going though my head.

Paramedics arrived within 5 minutes of the call and we're all over the place. They told us to wait outside and we did so. I don't recall any of us sitting. I could only remember walking in circles with my hands up in my hair. The paramedics came out only minutes later. He took one look at us, and I still remember his words. "He is in God's hands now"..

At that point my heart sank, my knees buckled, and my lungs felt if there was an anchor around them. I did cry. We all did. We had lost our best friend. There was nothing they could do either. Chad was dead for a few hours before we found him. Possibly even before I woke up.

I remember which was probably the worse sight I have ever seen. They had to carry Chad's body out of the bus...They didn't use a s stretcher. Unfortunately the bus doors were to narrow to allow the stretcher to fit. It was a seen I will never forget, or ever want to see again. It was the last time I ever saw him and yet it wasn't him. It was merely a hollow shell of the soul that use to inhabit it.

We had to rush back to Belford, and we had to tell Chad's parents...Which was very difficult. How do you tell a mother and father their 16 year old son is dead? His mother collapses and cried on her husband shoulders and I could see tears in his ees too. It brought tears to our eyes yet again. My last words to them before I just walked out of the house was "I'm sorry" and I really was. I mother should never have to bury her child and I felt maybe if we had not gone to New York, he'd still be with us

Tragic and heartbreaking

Those are the only words I can say to this story, I too have lost a friend at a young age and it is a horrible feeling to hold. No parent should bury their child.
