Like the description asks, how do I go about creatong a new page on the wiki?

Creating a new page is one of the simplest operations one can do on a wiki. On wikis using MediaWiki software, all you have to do is enter the exact name of the page you want to create in the search field. The search engine of course tells you that the page doesn't exist. But it also provides you with a red link at the top the search results page, and clicking on that link brings up the edit box where you can start to add content to the new page.
Some wikis have also put in a box on their Main Page where you can type the exact name of the new page, and it will be created instantly when you click on a button in the box. This post has been edited by Sector X on Aug 16 2008, 09:28 AM |
