Here is a question for you... Whats to say that the MIB (The Men In Black that created Project Carthage). wasn't watching this whole thing? I think X.A.N.A. could of been connected to the MIB up to it's demise back in season 4. I'm thinking of a Portal 2 situation... MIB has a copy of the X.A.N.A. program right before it's demise and they are trying to bring it back up. Seeing that it's been a few years, Jeremie and Aeltia have been hard at work, trying to see if there is any way that Franz or Antea Hopper might still be alive. When they get a message from MIB offering a trade... To be shown to the location of the Supercomputer at in exchange for information about Antea. Jeremie and Aeltia, not knowing about the back up X.A.N.A. program, accept the trade and finds out where Antea is imprisoned but then gets double crossed and trapped in Lyoko with X.A.N.A. back and just as ticked off.

Meanwhile, Yumi, Ulrich, Odd, and William are still pretty good friends and are trying to move on with their lives without the occasional X.A.N.A. attack when William starts to act a little strange and these weird feelings like he was possesed by X.A.N.A. again. Worried, he tells the other three and they blow it off until some minor (but consistent) electrical problems start happening around without any explanation. William starts to believe that X.A.N.A. has somehow been brought back alive and is causing these things to happen, the other three are not so convinced that its back until it starts getting dangerous. They try to call Jeremie and Aeltia up repeatedly with no results and finally head to the factory when they notice that its been changed into a construction site. Undeterred they then head to The Heritage (Jeremie and Aeltia fixed it up and have been doing their work there) to find Jeremie's old computer with the super scanner alerting of an activated tower. Looking around trying to find the other two, they accidently stumble upon Jeremie and Aeltia's lab and find a message from Jeremie and some new scanners...

We know that the MIB has copies of Project Carthage.

The whole first series was about trying to defeat X.A.N.A. and to save Aeltia's dad from lyoko, who's to say what happened to her mother during this whole time since the original storyline just had her kidnapped by the MIB. Short and sweet, the first series was about finding her dad, the second series (Code Lyoko Evolutions) could be about finding her mom.

The MIB were after anyone trying to stop Project Carthage and Lyoko was the staging ground to stop it. If the MIB has the super computer then they have Lyoko.

William... He was possessed for a good length in the main series and then repossessed after he was freed in Fight to the Finish. From being possessed so many times, whats to say he doesn't have some kind of connection with X.A.N.A. similar to Harry and Voldemort from the Harry Potter Books.

Jeremie and Aeltia's lab... First of all both of them are really smart and intelligent (they recreated Lyoko after X.A.N.A. deleted it) so whats stopping them from experimenting and building their own system? In "Franz Hopper" Jeremie was able to put a Aeltia decoy in a scanner to fool the X.A.N.A. Franz Hopper. He is also known for building and tinkering with robots. Whats to say that during the 4 years (or a time gap between the two series) that he and Aeltia didnt build atleast one scanner in hopes of trying to find Franz Hopper?

I heard on the grapevine that some info about Season 5 is leaked out already. There's one topic about it, something about a new program (I forgot its name) taking over Jeremie, and so the Lyoko Warriors fight their friend. And if I didn't read wrongly, somehow, Sissi, William and Jim (holy cheese what is he doing there?!) get involved too. The end.

Wow that's really great idea, but I have heard about other programme too. I have a lot of ideas about first episode too. I just worry that the fifth season won't be as interesting as 1,2,3,4 seasons. :unsure:

Some good ideas floating around however I have a rather worrying notion that it may end up as a suicide for the franchise as they might set it out like Season 1 with an unlinked plotline or set it before the shutdown of the supercomputer and create a story that is totally unlinked from the original.

On the other hand it could be a huge success but without details, its all speculative. I for one am looking at the actors (will they truly portray the characters) and dubbing (actors are most likely going to be french and unless a separate set of actors exist, its going to look bad if its subtitles or a bad attempt at an accent)
