In this tutorial I will show you guys how to get your renders looking 1337.
First off, we will need an image... view image here It's a little too big to post here, but there's our link. Copy that, then open up Photoshop Create a new document, and just click OK. Then hit control+v to paste in the image Create a new image, 380x125 with a white BG Now we need to filter>extract Naruto. trace him with the pencil then fill him in and hit OK. Drag the render onto your signature box. just x out of the window the render was in ![]() now hit control + t to downsize the render now, this image is way too bright and has too many clashing colors to really get it to look good on a solid BG, so we are going to makie it a little less exciting. Go to Image>Adjustments>Hue/saturation. Set your settings up like this and hit ok ![]() Now you are going to want to start with the effexts part of this tut. THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART! THE HUE SATURATION IS NOT NECESSARY FOR EVERY SIG! Just use this part of the tut for future sigs Your first step will be to select the render layer from the layer selection menu on the right. hit control+j to duplicate it. Select the duplicated layer and go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur. Set the radius to 3.6 and hit ok. Now right click the layer and go to blending options set your settings like these: ![]() Now duplicate again and on the 3rd layer go to filter>artistic>cutout set the settings to 8, 3, 2 Now go to filter>blur>motion blur and set angle 0 and distance 20 set blending options like this ![]() Now for the fun part. Make a new blank layer. (ctr+shft+n) Now follow closely: Ctrl+A, Ctrl+Shift+C, Ctrl+V You should have just copied the whole sig and pasted it on the new layer Now Filter>blur>motion blur and set distance to 30 then set your blending options like this: ![]() Now your render is done. More 3D looking, and you took those annoying brights out so you can actually make a good BG. you may want to add a gradient and blend it in to change the sigs color after you are done but thats optional. My final product: ![]() I brushed in a BG, then i added some gradient layers and blended them i used a blue and an orange gradient pattern on 2 seperate layers then i added scan lines and a border and text Here is my BG with no gradients ![]() Here is my layer list. Use it as a roadmap to see how i ordered things ![]() *layer 6 is scanlines, 5 and 3 are gradients, 7 is a border, and the two narutos at the bottom are motion blurs on my text heres an example of a gradient i used i put it on a white BG so you can see what it should look like ![]() then blend that and give your sig a cool effect NOTES- the important thing to remember layer order 1-original render 2-copy, gaussian blur 3.6, blended (preferably to screen) 3-copy, cutout 8,3,2 then motion blurred 20. blended (soft light or overlay) 4-copy of entire sig. motion blur 30 and blend to color then you can brush a bg and do text i hope this helped you learn SOMETHING try duplicating what i did -------------------- |
