Iron Man is dead. Before, when the world had chased away heroes and what they stood for none protested, simply moving on with their lives and becoming as normal as the world would let them. SHIELD committed this atrocity and had to be punished. Obadiah Stane fell and SHIELD was restored to its former glory by James Rhodes, the new Director of the agency. Stark Industries is once again up and running, with the public acknowledging the change in the legislation to allow weapons manufacturing. Heroes were still outlawed and yet they continue to fight in the shadows.

But the villains have other plans.

With a hidden agenda that is slowly surfacing in the form of a secret society of super villains they have gained the upper hand. The heroes have their own form of retaliation, forming their own group called the Justice League of America. Soon the world will know that a war between good and evil has already started right under their eyes.

The last straw to set it all off? From a time past the Watchmen have come, Doctor Manhattan wanting to bring his comrades to a world that did not fear them and accepted them. They went too far, ending up in the present day where they are still feared and hated. As everything begins to unravel and the world is slowly changing, growing darker every day, can one light of hope shine above all of the chaos?
