Aylan Stretch Aylan Stretch otherwise known as the Blessed Stretch is a strip of land which is covered in nothing by snow. Very little grows here and yet several creatures can be found upon the land, searching for something that might grow beneath the ermine blanket which rarely lifts or even recedes. It is a baren land, open and more than half of it is ice as well as mother earth being concealed beneath ice crystals. Despite being a lovely sparkling sight it is dangerous. One wrong move and one could end up drowning or worse. It is here that Penguins, walrus and polar bears roam as well as a few geese depending upon the season. Apparently it is sea food and creatures with wings whether they can fly or not is where those of Caladhiel obtain most of their noutricion year round.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
Arthion Orod The Mountains found within Caladhiel stand tall and ominious as a backdrop to the Aylan Stretch that seems to go on forever. The Arthion Mountain is littered with den sites, below at the base and farther above at varying altitudes. Some of the tunnels within even lead up and down from one den area to another sight unseen from those looking on from the outside in. Although there are paths of which are dangerous and nary a soul has ever tried to climb that way. It is simply a place of rest, shelter from the cold and rain. Some of the den sites even lead below ground level making the area perfect for private conversation and meetings. Not very much vegetation survives here, other than of course pine and maybe a sequoia or three. At the very top of these mountains rests snow which is deeper and the area colder. Iauron Tawarthion Iauron Tawarthion, better known as the ancient wood is a wonderous boreal forest also known as a taiga. The Iauron Tawarthion is dominated by coniferous trees with cool temperatures, slow decomposition rates, and its soil is often waterlogged. Perhaps not the most comfortable of areas to exist, but although there is not a large range of food, it does provide for a more extensive prey list than just the tundra alone. Despite being damp and chilly, it is usually far warmer than the rest of the Caladhiel packlands. However with the land being so waterlogged it is sometimes difficult to hunt, prey being more likely to hear the approach of an enemy and sometimes quite the opposite. Saerwen Morwen Saerwen Morwen, a place of bitter darkness that litters part of Iauron Tawarthion. A swamp infested by alligators, crockidiles and other reptillion and fish. That which looks like a rock. Turtles too dwell here. Many have fallen to their dooms, being engulphed in the jaws of death, the hunter becoming the hunted. It is an area to be weary of and rarely sought out. Danger, the icy grip of death lurks in every knook and crany. Although it proves quite useful in times of war, or to keep war from being declared upon them more oft than not. Along the shore, skelletons or at least parts of such may be found, although most that have lost their life have been eatten whole and not even their bones remain.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
