Spar - This is just for learning, but is more than just play. There may be very minor injury though usually shouldn't be any at all as its just practice.

Scuffle - This will have very little damage to one another, mainly it will just be verbal with a bit of nipping and scratching.

Serious - There may be deep wounds, loss of limbs and even heavy blood loss. Therefore it can be close to a death match, but no one should actually die.

Death Match - In such a match at least one of the wolves MUST die. The other may be seriously wounded, but not necessarily. Still the second wolf if seriously injuried may also die soon afterwards or have a shorter life span than they might have had if they'd never fought such a match in the first place. Any of the previous sorts of Matches may also result in a Death Match occuring.
