Well, just wanted to say Happy Holidays to everyone here in 'Shangri-la'! This forum has definitely grown into quite the community (just within a few months), and it's still growing as we speak at a pretty steady rate! (almost at a solid 100 members!)... A bunch of thanks to everyone who joined and contributed! You guys are what make this forum what it is..

(and for the ones who are hiding in the back, don't be shy! write a post or two! or you can just introduce yourselves! we're all friends here laugh.gif )

So with all that being said, let's make 2008 a great year!

hey there fellow shangrilites!

well, spring break is here and i will be absent for two weeks starting this saturday.. i'll check up on the forum when i can, and i'm sure ms. anna will check up every now and then as well!

i probably don't have nothin' to worry about, but i'm trusting you guys to keep things cool around here.. cool.gif

Dammit.. I'm pissed off..

Dear fellow Shangrilites,

Be on the alert as I recently found 2 perpetrators spamming x-rated sites and potentially harmful links.. As you know, this is a direct violation of the forum's rules and will immediately be acted on.

I already know everyone here on the forum are pretty much cool cats.. But once in a while, there are some dumb @$$es who sneak in to reek havoc.

ShaunMD and grouggelo are examples of that...

As a result, the Shangrilite team has immediately banned them from the forum.

Please, lets keep this forum a safe and enjoyable one to all chatmonchy fans! Thanks.

Willing to bet money it was the same guy who signed up twice. Or judging by how it's been the 'Chatmonchy Discussion' section every time, I'm also willing to bet it's actually a bot doing the actual sign-up and posting. I don't know very much about InvisionFree's forum's system, but I do wish they'd use a CAPTCHA.

Looking at their support forum, it looks like we've got our bases covered as far as guest accounts and email validation; but it looks like we could also use group promotion. Of course, it's up to our wonderful admins, Anna and Roxy, if we were to implement this system.

Hope the people at Youtube are also quick to ban the degenrerate on Youtube who keeps uploading FAKE clips of E-chan... um... climb.. axing. (note: looks like they got rid of him)
