WINTER MENU
(This may change a few times during the season, so remember to check it often. It will be bumped whenever changes are made!) Full meal: 7 coppers (Choice of a listed meal with small side bowl of soup and chunk of oat bread) Just soup: 4 coppers (Comes with a chunk of oat bread) Current Meals: Baked Trout - Seasoned with butter and a small hint of lemon Sautéed mushrooms - Seasonal wild mushrooms cooked in olive oil and garlic until tender, garnished with diced dried herbs, served on a bed of crisp lettuce greens. Roast kiwi - Tender slices of roast kiwi with coarsely chopped vegetables (primarily carrots and celery). Current Soups: Spring Nest Soup - A watery kiwi broth with scrambled kiwi egg mixed in and a generous amount of thin noodles. DRINK + ETC
All drinks served at room temperature unless otherwise noted. Check the forums for a monthly menu of meals/soups! Drinks, alcoholic, by the mug/goblet: Ale - 2 coppers Hard Cider - 3 coppers Rum (watered down) - 4 coppers Hot Toddy (heated rum, water & spiced honey) - 5 coppers Mead - 3 coppers Wine (local) - 8 coppers Wine (best/imported) - 12 coppers Drinks, alcoholic, shots: Whiskey (local) - 4 coppers Whiskey (imported) - 7 coppers Brandy - 1 silver Drinks, other: Water - free (unless you're being a pain in the tail) Milk - 4 coppers Cider - 2 coppers (Hot or Cold) Hot Tea - 10 coppers Hot Coffee - 16 coppers Meals, light: Crispels - 2 coppers Pie - 3 coppers a slice Rissole (meat/fish pies) - 4 coppers Pasties (kiwi or veg) - 4 coppers Egg Tart - 3 coppers Cheese Tart - 4 coppers Safekeeping: The tavern also offers to keep an eye on any valuables you'd rather put somewhere safe during your stay in town. The opening fee is 5 coppers, with adjustments made for the size and value of the item(s) in question. |
