Welcome
To Casino: Fatale

Casino: Fatale is a Literate To Advanced roleplay forum about transparant societies underneath all the lights, and the fancy colors that Las Vegas holds. Two teams, FALCON, and RAVEN, oppose each other in pure hatred for one another, or at least, their leaders due to beliefs about the way things should be run. Main mission? To destroy one's organization before the other destroys yours. Some may think it's simple, and each group puts the main goal as 'Protecting Vegas'.

But there's more to the story than a simple fight and protect scenario. It goes into a deep history between the leaders of each team, and the original goal that both teams shared. Differences create enemies, and now you must decide on where your loyalties lie. And is what you're fighting for truly noble?

He knew what to do, Nick had it all in plan. As he walked through the rotating glass doors, dressed in a pair of black jeans, his black dickies shoes, and a light blue t-shirt. Nick didn't have work, at least not until a couple of hours. Depending of what he considered work, Nick, however, was still on a shift. Except for a different employment. He was on the mission for one sole mission. He had to snoop around the devil woman's desk. Location wasn't a problem. Her desk was in the lobby, and seeing her red hair was as simple as walking in the hotel itself. One thing Nick had to admit, if he was a confused guest who hadnt stepped foot in a hotel, he would immediately find his way around.

Taking a step around the line, he waited at the desk. The woman had a couple of people trying to get checked in. So he leaned onto the desk, his presence a mocking reminder that he was waiting to engage into conversation. Would the conversation be complete nonsense? Perhaps, but what Nick knew for sure was that he would have to get her distracted to leave the desk.

His mind set was to look around her desk and see if the flash drive remained there. If there was anything that he might be able to make a copy of to take back, he would also be adviced to do so. But, knowing the woman, she would know that anything was taken. As she finished up the last of her guests, Nick wasn't sure if she was terribly exhausted or just felt like that was a complete breeze. Taking a deep breath, he proceeded to start talking. "Why, you look fantastic today Alison. New hair?" He asked, hoping to catch her on a good mood. If not, well, let's just say all hell would break lose.

While Nick was on his way to Fatale, Michelle was working on tapping into their security cameras so she could get a look at things going on in the hotel. It was delicate business, and she didn't want anything to go wrong. The earbud was hidden in Nick's ear, and there was a tiny speaker so she could hear what he said, and hopefully catch whatever anyone else in his vicinity said. The volume was blaring, so she heard the street noises, and was a little confident that she would hear what was going on.

"Come on. Come on!" She didn't want to be detected and have everything blow up. Carefully working, she was almost into the cameras when she heard the sounds change. Nick was in Fatale. Taking a deep breath, she finished, and crossed her fingers. On her larger screen, a bunch of boxes opened up with security views. Jumping up from her seat, she clicked on the one that held the lobby. "I owe myself a present." She muttered to herself, before putting the headpiece on so that she could speak to Nick.

She was carefully looking at the screen when she saw Nick speak. Damn, the time is off. She heard him a few moments after she saw what was going on in the picture. His mouth moved in real time, and there was a delay on the sound. Biting her lip, she looked at the screen carefully. Hearing his sentence, she wondered if that would sound casual to Alison, as he called her. Maybe she was just being to paranoid. She didn't want anything to go wrong. "This is just a test Nick. Don't make any different movements. If you can hear me clearly, run a hand through your hair." It wasn't too odd, seeing as he had hair, and he had just come in from outside.

She really had no idea how beautiful the hotel it was in itself. The structure and the architecture of it were quite overwhelming. It was obvious that Eva Dobson spared no expense to make Fatale the place that it really was. Stepping out of the ladies restroom, Meredith took note of a nicely dressed man, he had a wire in his ear. Obviously, he was one of the hotel’s many bodyguards. Immediately, almost simultaneously, she pulled on the bottom of her elegant dress that was to be used in her act of a woman returning from a party. Rushing over to the bodyguard, her heels clicked loudly against the cold floor.

After getting body close to the bodyguard she looked at him with a worried look in her eyes, damn, she was a good actress. “Sir! My purse! A blonde man has stolen my purse! You’ve got to help me. What do I do? I’ve never had anything stolen before. What do I do?” Tears began to form in her eyes, as if she was genuinely worried about her purse that was stolen by a blonde man. Immediately, she grabbed onto his arm, unsure of what to do really. “Quick, we’ve got to get my purse! My vegas check is in there! I won so much money this evening. Do you need another witness? I have a witness, he saw the entire thing and tried to dispatch my assailant himself, but it didn’t work. The man was just entirely too fast for him! We’ve got to hurry!”

She tugged at his arm, pulling him in the direction that she decided to go. “He went this way, I followed him best that I could. All I know sir is that he went this way and then went up a flight of stairs. I am not exactly sure where he is going, but my room is on the third floor. I know that he doesn’t know where my room is at, but what if he does? I think that we should check and see if anything else has been stolen! I mean it, we must hurry. I have other possessions that are very valuable to me in that room!”

AS quickly and as efficiently as she could possibly do, Alison checked the unimportant, to her at least, guest into any vacant room she could find. As usual, the hotel was near maximum capacity and it made her a little flusteredto manage anything. At the moment, her desk looked as if it'd been attacked by an angry puppy. For whatever shocking reason there was, papers had punctures wounds as if they'd been bittin in the top corners and were bunched up and crumpled. Though she wished to find the cause, she had work at hand and did her best to keep the mess of papers out of view. With a rapid movement of her hand, she brushed the papers into her lap and let them slide to the floor.

Ignoring the odd stares she was receiving from the guests in the lobby, she continued her work. "Oh why thank you, Nick. And no, it's the same as everyday." Alsion pushed the back of her hair up, obviously happy someone decided to finally compliment her. I've forgotten myself! "Er- Umm.. Did you need something from me? And shouldn't you be working? Don't tell me false information, because so help me god..." Her now normal tone of voice tailed off and she lost herself in thought again.

"Nicholas... Do you hear that?" The area around Alison became silent and she listened closer. "It's like a static buzzy noise. It's annoying me to no end." She gave an irritated look and doodled on a peice of chewed-up, crumpled paper. No one would miss it. "This reminds me. Would you be a dear and find out what happened here?" Alison's head dissapeared from view for a second and when she came back up, she tossed the trashed papers onto the desk. "Have fun."

As she spoke, Nicholas slid a hand through his hair, casually of course. He had hoped that Michelle had caught Alison's remark. If that buzzing was reported to someone from a Tech Crew on RAVEN, they would immediately know someone was using the same frequency range...and from a similar device. And if somehow...they got into FALCON's signal, they'd be found out and destroyed.

Being casual with the hand slide wouldn't have mattered, she was busy looking underneath the desk for more papers. But then, as she finished off the last of her sentence, he saw he'd be having to do something he didnt plan on doing. He'd have to be looking through stacks of different messed up papers. From the looks of it, none were important. Easily, he could be a jerk out of himself and just leave...which by normal means, he would do, Nick was on assignment and he had to look through papers anyway.

"Ehh, i guess i can help you Alison..." He muttered, starting through the first page to the next. They were all messy, obviously not kept in sheet protectors as they were wrinkled from place to place. They all seemed like random pieces of paper, with different business letters to certain companies. Really...all it was seemed to be random hotel informational packets released from the paper clip, and not to mention, all cluttered up. "While i do this...maybe you'll want to go grab a cup of coffee...or something...this'll take my ages..." He said, laughing it off as if it was a joke or something like that. But really, if she was able to go, he'd manage to look through the actual IMPORTANT files.

"Doesnt seem to be much important stuff in here though..." He said, making it sound like he was just making a remark to Alison, almost like complaining, but really...he was making a secret message to Michelle. Hoping she'd catch the hint, he continued aimlessly flipping through pages, organizing.

And before he realized, he accidently was about to pass off a perfectly FALCON official paper like it was nothing.

Matt was rather shocked by the upset woman, as she seemed to pop out of nowhere. He found it odd that there was no sign or sound that something like this happened without his knowing. But then again, he was rather dozing off a bit. But if you were standing around for almost an hour with absolutely nothing to do, wouldnt you also be a bit...bored? Matthew was on duty and it seemed like today was one of those uneventful ones. But he hadnt the chance to think about it, as the woman's panic was very hyperactive and he had to fill her needs for her.

He felt " the tug of his arms showing in towards the flight of stares. His eyes widened that some sort of thief was able to take it from someone in a hotel full of security cameras. If he couldn't catch him himself, he'd contact HQ and they'd guide him through security cameras. "We'll catch them Miss, just stay here..."He said, quickly running towards the direction she had said for him to go. If he could help that poor woman's tears, it would be all worth it. Plus, this was a whole new excitement for him. Little did he know, this was all a distraction, and he wouldnt get to catch the real thief...or retriever, whichever you'd like to think of it.

She heard Allison's comment and cursed at herself mentally. This would not be good if she heard their conversations through her system. Then everything was blown. When Nick confirmed what she had gone about trying to fix, she had to agree. "Yeah, I figured that was probably the problem. But you never know. I just don't want her hearing our conversations. If it's static, that's not so bad, anything could be wrong. I know this. But if static turns to our wave-length, the mission's a bust." Her eyes were glancing over all of the components of their wave-length and what all the levels were. Adjusting a few of the parts, she prayed that it would cut back on the static and not give anything extra to their hearing.

As Nick was looking through the papers, she was also looking over at what Meredith was doing. "Good job Mer. Don't let him think that it's an act though. Don't drop it for a second." Watching the scene over with the guard, she then glanced back at Nick and the papers. "Did you find something Nick?" She tried to zoom into the picture to see what he was looking at, but it took a while for the image to become clear, and it was sorted by the time she got in. Making a face, she watched the papers he was sorting and glanced over at the scene to see the guard talking to Meredith. That's a good boy, keep talking to the pretty girl. Then her eyes were back on the papers. Two pairs of eyes were better than one.

Seeing something that looked official she said quickly. "Hey, hey, hey! Back about two papers. That looked official, tell me what it is please." Michelle knew that Nick would find a way to look at it that wouldn't make things look suspicious, but then again, everyone had some sort of curiosity, and that could likely explain why he went back to look at a different page. "Anything that could help us?'

"Ugh. I don't know what could have happened to these. All of them were in a folder in my desk. No one could have just rummaged through my things. I would have noticed for sure." Again, Alison dove under her desk to see if any more papers were on the floor. "You know, I had only left for a little while before you came up. My desk was neat and tidy. After I come back, there's this mess," She pointed accusingly to the ravaged pages of nothing. "And all these people were lined up. Honestly. Who would do something like this?”

By the time she finished her last sentence, she had all but forgotten about the static. The vexing anomaly disappeared long ago. Her well-trained eyes scanned each paper as Nick searched through them. "Why thank you, Nicholas. You can be a big help to the hotel sometimes, even when it's on your own time." Alison slouched over her desk, tired from nothing out of the ordinary.

"Thank you. Some coffee would be nice. Why don't you get us both a cup after you've finished looking through everything." It was more of a statement than a question. She thought he had offered to get some for her. With a tiny yawn, she sat up from her desk and continued looking lazily at the papers.

A tiny, almost unnoticeable "Oh" escaped her lips. Quickly, she snatched the official looking paper in her claw like hands. "I'm glad I didn't throw that pile out. Do you know what this is?" asked Alison. She held up the paper so Nick could only see the words at the very top of the page. She waved it around, as if she were taunting him with it, and put it away under her desk. "That paper could make or break this hotel. I need Eva to have a good look at it. Keep this a secret. Let no one knew you saw it. None of the employees here know about this, if they did, they'd be outraged. If word leaks out about a single word you saw on that page..." Alison's voice grew soft and snake-like, but she didn't finish her sentence.

"Anyways. That’s enough about that. How about that coffee?"
