General Description:
Ryan stands about 5'6" tall. She is a thin girl, but not too thin. She possesses a quaint beauty that's mostly in her smile. She has short wavy hair that is a fiery red color. She doesn't usually do anything with her hair and she doesn't wear make up. Her style is that of a tomboy. She's very low maintenance. She rarely ever wears anything "girly", unless it is absolutely necessary. Ryan has deep blue eyes that can be almost an emerald green at times.

She has a naturally pale complexion. It seems somewhat hidden though by her simple appearance. On the rare occasion when she actually dresses up though her pale skin shows. Her eyes are can be somewhat distant. It's her way of hiding emotions. She speaks with her eyes and her face though. Her hands are small and, as the rest of her, appear very fragile. Overall she seems like a very fragile girl, that could break with one touch. That could not be farther from the truth though. If it weren't for her wardrobe one might think she was glass. Though when one sees her in action she's quiet different. Along with her wardrobe that consists of mostly plain t-shirts, blue jeans, and combat boots, Ryan is always carrying a gun, somewhere on her, at all times.

Appearances can be deceiving. She's not as fragile as she looks. She is a skilled fighter and more than willing to showcase her abilities. Her dress is very simple, usually tank tops and jeans or t-shirts. She doesn't wear anything overly flattering. She knows too many people who would get far too much enjoyment out of seeing that. She has a simple beauty to her, don't ever tell her that though. Ryan has never been one to care about what people thought of her. She's not the kind of girl that is easily classified by looks.

General Description:
People say that redheads are fiery, that’s why their hair is red. In Ryan's case that statement is quite true. Ryan is incredibly independent. She always has been. Ryan’s strongwilled, and rather stubborn. The best discription is that she's a tomboy. Ryan has despised dresses or anything of the like since she was five years old, that has never changed. She finds men easier to relate to than women. That could be because of the lack of female influence in her life. As far as Ryan's personality goes, she was influenced greatly by the people she grew up around, namely Dean Winchester. She has this hard wall around her that she put up because that's what Dean did while growing up. Forward, is a bit of an understatement for Ryan. If she's attracted to someone she'll tell them. She's seemingly not afraid of anything, though that's not true. Everyone's afraid of something.

As said before, and quite important to understanding Ryan Murphy, she is incredibly easy to get along with. Though she is often hot-headed and opinionated she is easy to get along with, if you know how to talk to her. Ryan has this smile that lights up a room, it is quite contagious. She knows how to use it to her advantage too. She has always had the incredible ability to make people smile. It’s an amazing talent. On the other side of that, and really quite funny if you think about it, Ryan is incapable of letting anyone get close to her. It’s almost an involuntary thing. She doesn’t mean to push people away, it just happens. The only people that have ever gotten remotely close to her emotionally were the Winchesters, and that was only when she was younger.

Ryan while the life of the party, can often times be anti-social. She's a woman full of contradictions. She's sarcastic and harsh, but genuine and kind hearted at the same time. She has learned to balance the combating parts of her personality quite well. Romantically speaking Ryan is well liked by most men. She exudes a confidence that she knows men love. One might call it being manipulative, she calls it talent. Ryan is not what one might think of, being the daughter of a preacher. She has never had a stable relationship in her life. Sex is just that, sex, a pleasurable release, and escape. It means nothing to her. Ryan has always been a bit of a wild child. She's a live life to the fullest kind of girl. Take what you can, give nothing back... that kind of thing (so maybe she's seen Pirates one too many times).

General History:
Ryan Grace Murphy, was born on February 1, 1980. That's what it says on her birth certificate. The truth is that no one is sure of the exact date. She was found by Pastor Jim Murphy outside his church the night before Valentine's day in 1980. After taking her to the hospital and searching for the girl's mother it was discovered that the very same night her mother was brought in, DOA, from a drug overdose. The baby had no other family. After a few months of passing paperwork back and forth and deciding a name for the girl, Jim finally gained custody of the infant, raising her as his own.

Her life was quiet for the most part. Her father moonlighted as a contact for a demon hunter named Caleb. It was through him that Ryan was introduced to that world. At an early age she took an interest in weaponry, asking her father at age three about the knives in the basement of the church. He thought maybe it was just a phase and it would pass. Then in early January 1984 a man showed up at the church. Caleb had called telling Jim that this man was coming. He had two sons, an infant, and a boy a year older than Ryan. Their arrival just fueled Ryan's interest in hunting. It was an interest that would not go away as she grew older.

John Winchester and Jim Murphy quickly struck of a strong friendship, as did John with Caleb. That naturally led to a close bond between the children. For most of their early childhood Ryan and Dean were almost inseparable. Then at about eight or nine years old Dean decided that since Ryan was a girl he did not want to hang around her anymore, so they became more distant. That only got worse as John began taking Dean out on hunts. Things changed though as they grew. Dean's interest in the opposite sex seemed to spark overnight once he hit puberty and the next time he saw Ryan she wasn't "gross" anymore. Their friendship from before began to get stronger once more.

There were a few occasions when Ryan was around sixteen years old that John let her tag along with him and Dean on a few hunts. It was Ryan's first hands on experience in hunting and she has not quit since. John and the boys stopped by Jim's church one day on Ryan's eighteenth birthday. She had saved up money for the past five years (doing odd jobs for people in the area) and she was going to buy her first car. Dean, being the overprotective car freak that he was, thanks to his mechanic/marine father, insisted that he go with her. They were gone almost all day before Dean pulled up to the church in his dad's '67 Impala. Behind him was Ryan in a red 1969 Chevy Nova. The last time she saw any of the Winchesters though was when Sam was sixteen and about to get his license. She heard from Dean a few times while Sam was at school.

About two years ago though all contact with John or Dean stopped. Ryan did not really worry about it until Caleb called her one night and said that he found her father in the basement of the church. His throat had been slashed. Ryan drove all day to get to Caleb but when she got there he was dead too. She feared the worst and frantically started calling John and Dean, neither answered the phone. After a month and a half of calling and calling contacts with no word from John or Dean, Ryan assumed they were dead. It sent her into a downward spiral. Though she did not have much contact with Dean recently, the Winchesters were like family. When she could not get a hold of Sam she assumed her family was dead. She had no one else. If it were not for Bobby Singer, Ryan would most likely be dead. He found her on a dirt road one night in her car after attempting suicide (this was about six months after her dad died).

When she woke up in the hospital he introduced himself. At some point talk of the Winchesters arose. Though Bobby had not heard from them in months, he knew they were safe. He passed the message on to Ryan. She stayed in the hospital for a little while. While in there she saw a news report about a large bank robbery in Milwaukee. They had a video of it, to her surprise she saw Dean there. The next day Ryan had left the hospital. A few months have passed and she still has yet to hear from Sam or Dean.

One interesting character profile you have here; definitely will be fun to see how she develops. I didn't get the chance to thoroughly read it all through, but from what I did read it sounded good. Ryan Murphy has been put into the demon hunter group.
