A Part Not Apart

[Erialle]

Erialle sighed softly as she lay her head back, letting the tree behind her support her weight.
After a minute or so she got up and went to a nearby pool then quickly stripped and placed her belongings in a neat pile. She then dipped her foot in, grimacing as ice cold water lapped around her toes.
With a barely audible sigh Erialle immersed herself in it, leaning back against the bank when she got deep enough.

Laurien nickered and trotted up to her owner, nuzzling Erialle's cheek as she stood beside her.

Erialle smiled at her companion and gently stroked her coat, her emerald eyes looking skywards and taking in every little detail, from the stars to that sudden flicker of light.

Sekoree had been traveling that day finaly he stopped to take a rest on a moss coverd
log. He took of his shield and tossed it several meters and landed with a thump. He always kept his sword on just in case. He slowly took off his cloak and sekoree lay down. He used the cloak as a blanket. Sekoree admired the stars and how they sparkled.

IC:Erialle let out a sigh and looked at her mare, smiling.

A few minutes later she got out of the pool and dried herself, wrapped the towel around her hair then changed into her garments, making sure everything she had was on and not missing.

After several hours had passed sekoree got up and picked up his sheild and started to explore. He didn't go very far he saw several berrys and things that he ate. He then came across with a pool and he sat down and felt the water. He immediately withdrew his hand due to being freezing cold. He felt tierd and he slept there.

Erialle watched the man intently from a tree with Laurien standing on the air.
"Was...he...watching me while I...was" She started, blood rushing to her cheeks.
Laurien snorted. "No... He was quite a distance away." She laughed and nickered softly.
Erialle sighed in relief and looked into the distance, marveling at the amount of peace the area seemed to possess.
"Thus the result of having not seen the dragon wars." She told her mare softly.
Laurien smiled and licked her rider's cheek.
After awhile she stomped her feet. "I wanna get down... I don't like it up here."
Erialle shot her companion a quizzical stare.
"Weren't you the one who begged to be in the trees?"
"Yes yes and I regret it! let me down let me down!" She whined and neighed loudly at the end.

Sekoree jumped into the air apon hearing the loud noise. He drew his sword and scolded himself for not brinig his shield. He searched his surroundings finding nothing yet. He sat down cautiously and waited for another sound.

[Erialle]

Erialle quickly hushed her horse. "Now look what you've done... I don't even know if I should trust him." She sighed.
Laurien neighed. "I wanna go down!"
Erialle groaned as the man turned to them. "Okay fine. You've won." She told her mare then got them both down with such gentleness Laurien barely felt her hooves touch the ground.
The rider looked at Sekoree and frowned, looking at him sidelong through her hood, making sure to hide her ears from him. "What business do you have here?" She asked, disguising her voice.
"Speak quickly!"

Sekoree jumped up with his sword drawn. "I was just wandering around" he said as he slowly edged closer. "what are you doing here?" as he edged closer again. "who are you?"

[Erialle]

Erialle stared at the man then threw back her hood, letting her hair spill over her shoulders.
She looked at him harder with emerald eyes, applying magic to increase the strength of the gaze.
"We don't get many wanderers in these parts..." Erialle managed to spit out.
"Oh edge closer will you?" She laughed and discarded her disguise.
"Fine. I was bathing here." She said softly, almost awkwardly then, as quick as any sign of embarrassment came over her, it quickly evaporated, leaving behind a mask of steel.
"Stay where you are or charge me now." She glowered at the man.
Erialle stretched out her left hand to the side, commanding her bow to appear with a flick of her wrist.
"I'll warn you. Rush me, and you'll leave with more than a scratch." The elf gazed at him and notched her bow.

An elf! he thought great she probably knows magic. "well, I tend to wander a lot if you must know" as he backed off. Sekoree started to plan if he should run or fight. "what do you want me to do anyways? I don't generally meet baithing elves that are armed ready to fight everyday" Sekoree really wished now that he had brought his cloack and shield he might have looked more intamed. Sekoree decided to try to be tough and see how serious she was. "well despite all this commotion it think you'd better back off!" as he stepped closer just in sword range.

[Erialle]

Erialle flushed crimson, so much so that she expected even the elves in Silthrim would be able to see it.

Sekoree saw her blush. Great he thought maybe she isn't serious. Sekoree took another step closer. Are you going to answer my questions? Or are you going to be silent?

[Erialle]

"Do not mock me..." She said loudly, dust clouds ascending from the earth around around her, the wings on her back starting to form. Her eyes were covered in fire and her looser garments flapped wildly in the wind.
"Take another step human and you will feel the elements of fire earth air and water enter your bloodstream." She hissed out warningly, the wings on her back showing its full size.

Laurien neighed loudly and took a few steps backward. She had learned not to try to reason with her rider in these situations.

So she is serious he thought. "well if thats your wish" he said as he backed up a step. "by the way i am not human" he took another step backwards and tripped on a log tumbling headfirst into the pool.
