![]() General Rules 1) No foul or improper conduct. That means no swearing or mention of porn, hentai, or violence. Also, no discussion of ROMs or emulators, as this is against Invisionfree's terms of service. Depending on severity, violation of this rule may result in a ban. 2) No spam. Depending on severity, spamming can result in a warning. 3) Bullying will result in a ban. End of story. 4) Be respectful to other members, and the mods/admins. Remember that the mods and admins have powers, so it's best not to tick us off. In that vein, I expect mods to be respectful to normal members as well. No class warfare, got it? 5) If you're a mod, don't abuse your power. No giving yourself Pokemon or items, or making them grow levels "magically". Really, this should be obvious. And abuse of power will result in demotion. 6) Common sense, people. Common sense. Journey Rules 1) All journey posts MUST be creative. I'm not putting up a word count, because nobody has the time or patience to count words. At LEAST one or two sentences. No "Attack!" posts, please. 2) Only post in reply to your own journey topic, unless you are a mod. 3) NO GODMODDING. Mods have the final say. They decide whether or not a Pokemon is captured, what Pokemon you find, when battles begin or end, and what people you meet. You, the member, can only control your own characters and their Pokemon. 4) Since the Bolder region is based off of a real-life city, the routes and towns are arranged in separate categories to make them more accessible. You cannot be in two places at once, so you must have finished in a route or town (meaning a mod has told you that you can move on) to move on to the connected place. Pay attention to which towns the routes connect so you make sure that you are in the right place. 5) You can travel back and forth on routes to towns you know to your hearts content, but cannot continue to a new route or town until you have won the badge in your farthest town so far or completed the plot point in that town. 6) Unlike other text-based RPGs, there are certain plot points that you must complete before moving on in your journey. All trainers will go through the same plot points as you, but will of course have different experiences in their journeys, sort of like a Pokemon video game. 7) You must have a link to your profile in your signature before starting your journey. That way it is easier for us to update you. If I have to remind you to do this, you won't be able to start your journey until I see a link of some sort to your profile in your signature. I won't do it for you. If you really don't know how and/or did it wrong, take it to the help section. 8) You are allowed to have mild romance between your characters, but nothing over PG please. This RPG is for kids of all ages. Not only that, I don't like reading stuff that's over PG. 9) You are allowed to control the weather and time of day on your first post only, to set up the mods for what Pokemon they'll make you find. (some Pokemon come out at different times or during different weather conditions). Battle Rules 1) Pokemon can generally use any attack they can learn according to the latest Serebii.net Pokedex. They are not limited by level, or whether or not you possess a certain TM. However, they CANNOT learn moves that require a tutor, or can only be learned through special means. (Come on, you guys, can a Pichu really learn surf?) 2) There are a two special HMs that will allow Pokemon to learn certain moves, and they are HM01 Wide Slash and HM02 Vacuum-cut. All Pokemon can learn both moves, and more information on them can be found in Bulbapedia. 3) If two attacks are fired at the same time, and one is the type advantage of the other, the advantaged attack will negate the other attack and cause double damage. __________________ Does this make sense? |
