A very, very long time ago, when cities were small villages and technology did not exist, three Pokemon governed the land. One was a tiger that could command lightning. Another was a lion that could make volcanoes erupt. The third was a wolf that caused the north wind to blow.

These three beasts lived in harmony together, guarding the land and keeping peace. There were no quarrels between them, and the people were happy to have them around.

However, these happy times did not last long...

An evil force swept through the land, killing plants, Pokemon, and people alike. The three Pokemon turned against each other and began to fight. The chaos landed for several years and threatened to destroy everything. At last, from a time distant in the future, a fairy Pokemon appeared to stop the fighting. From stones on the top of Mt. Boreas, the Pokemon fashioned three keystones: one for each element the beasts represented.

The three stones cast light in the seven colors of the rainbow down onto the land, restoring everything and calming the feud. The three beasts, calmed now, retreated deep into the mountains to live peaceful, solitary lives. The stones were placed in a shrine on top of Mt. Boreas, and the fairy Pokemon returned to its original time. It is said that if the Keystones were ever seperated, disaster would return to the land.

And now...

The three stones have been separated, stolen by nefarious characters in periwinkle outfits. Two of the stones were scattered around the region, while one was kept in the hands of Team Deepfreeze. It's up to you to recover the keystones before the balance of power gets out of hand!
