00: Prelude, Beofre the RP begins

This is the story of how Crystal and Silver met. I wanted to put it here instead of an actual RP topic because I essentially control everyone here, so...

Crystal walked through Meritt town on the way to the Pokemon lab. She was so ready to begin her adventure. She hadn't given much thought to which starter she'd begin with, since she didn't know their personalities or traits yet. She wasn't even sure which species were offered as starters.

As she walked, she saw a red-haired boy standing on a street corner. When someone passed by, he would try to get their attention. They would always ignore him. Crystal felt bad for him, so she walked to the corner.

"Excuse me," he said, "I need directions to the Pokemon lab in this town."

"What a coincidence!" said Crystal, "I'm going there too! We can walk together!"

Although the boy didn't seem too keen on walking together, he didn't have many other options. He nodded.

"I'm Silver," he said.

"Silver? That's a cool name," said Crystal, "I'm Crystal."

Silver thought about this name. Was it significant? He vaguely remembered meeting an oracle on his travels... what had she said? "You will forget all, your memories in fragments... but a crystal will be the key to your past. A crystal will repair your shattered memory..."

"I see," he said. Was this girl the key that the oracle had mentioned? Would he gradually remember everything that he tried so hard to forget?

After a few minutes of walking together, the pair turned a corner and entered a cul-de-sac rimmed by cute houses with well-kept yards. An almond-colored house was surrounded by a hedge, had blue shutters, and had a sign out front indicating that it belonged to the Ponderosa family.

"Here we are!" said Crystal cheerily.

"This building?" asked Silver, "This couldn't be... really? I was expecting something a little more... professional."

"The Professor works from home," said Crystal, "Let's see if she's there."

I love actual backstory to characters... and I love ominous foreshadowing. x3 I'm looking forward to Silver's past. It'll be more fun RPing along the way to discovering more about him, too! =D

Fwahh. Great start! I find it interesting how no one would bother helping him, but when you offered to walk with him he suddenly went all, 'EW. GIRL.' mode. Can't wait for the next part!
