Welcome!
B l o o d i e d I n k is a slash roleplay, rated P G - 1 3, and geared more towards the mature crowd, which means you have to have a modicum of maturity toactually post and participate. Slash, however, isn't the only coupling here; we al so have Het and Gen as well, slash is just featured because it makes the world go round.
This RP is also for those roleplayers that want to focus more plot with character development without all the big explosions, but you can definately have those too.
Character of the MOMENT
Congratulations to:: Elannryia Lachlan!

"Humans? Stupid, trustworthy idiots. Honestly, they wouldn't be able to tell a vampire from a human; they're so blind. Its pathetic really. And yet, I still befriend them; soft bugger I am." - E.K.L

Amzie smiled lightly up at Jesse, a protective arm snaking around her fiance's waist before nodding in agreement. "Yes, please do visit Spyder's Web tonight. We've got some real popular bands playing, as well as a well-known d.j. I do hope we'll see you there, but if not, here's the address." Amzie handed him a small, exquisitely made business card for the popular nightclub. She also slipped VeNomous' card along with it. "The other card is for my private club. Its a vampire's club, believe it or not, though I despise the creatures. But, if you're looking for a little something different, VeNomous is the place to check." She smiled gently before letting Jesse handle the transaction, checking over every last detail of the shop. She pushed in chairs, turned stations a little, and cleared the floor. The place always shined, whether or not people were here. She was a stickler about cleanliness, and if it wasn't perfect, she freaked. She sighed lightly, and took out a glass cleaner, and cleaned all the glass station tops before pulling the suede covers over the glass. "Kurt, its only gonna be about 40 bucks. Not a big thing. I don't believe in killing the wallet." She laughed.
Her laugh was musical and carried easily. She finished cleaning, then bleached the leather of the seats, hissing a muffled curse as the raw bleach hit her skin. She was used to it, but it still hurt a tad. She finished cleaning the shop, and checked the lounge, picking up magazines and such. She emptied the trash before walking out to Kurt and Jesse again, smiling. " Okay guys, everything is set. Might as well pack up and head to Spyder's and open up early. I know that its soon, but I'm gonna let VeNomous open tomorrow." She smiled weakly, and picked up a bag, that had a change of clothes for the club. It consisted of very lowrise black jeans and web-like red and black corset style top. She looked at Jesse and smiled. " Ready baby?" She glanced at Kurt.
"I really hope we see you there. You're welcome to walk with us there, now, if you want to. If not, thats cool. We'll be at the address on the first card. I'll let my staff know that your admission and drinks are on my tab tonight. You're my guest." She smiled, and shut off the 'open' sign outside, and turned off all the station lights. She waited for Kurt and Jesse to exit before shutting the rest of the lights off, and she locked the door and dragged the metal grate along the track. She clipped the padlock into place, and turned. " Ready to go?"

Kurt listened to her intently as she spoke, and then laughed as she mentioned the place being a vampire's club while taking 50 dollars out of his wallet. "Heh, vampires...yeah." he replied, laughing to himself, holding placing the money on the desk for them to take. He wrote about vampires a lot in his work, his last book was about a vampire in the second world war posing as a German solider. The book did quite well actually, and it was from the fame he got from writing that he obtained his current job. But, his knowledge was just pieced together from all the standard vampire mythologies, but messed up. He believed that if they really were to exist then a lot of the steriotypes about them wouldn't be true. They could probably even walk about in the sun; but he didn't believe in vampires. He thought her saying that it was a vampire's club was just a gimmick, kind of like some gothic rock stars had.
"Call the rest a tip." he said; he was much to lenient with his money when he had it and threw it about like it meant nothing, but when he was strapped for cash he was really good at watching how much money he spent. If only he could learn to do it when he was working then he'd have a load of money saved up. Even though he knew he didn't have all the money in the world to spare, he decided he'd visit the bar, and then probably head on to the club sometime too. He generally enjoyed going to clubs, if not just to go and listen to the music. His other friends generally just enjoyed hanging out at the mall like elementary school students, still obsessed with arcade games and fast food while he was out in the real world making a living from his writing.
"That's very generous of you." Kurt replied when she said that the drinks were on her tonight, but he decided not to take too much of an advantage of that; after all, he wasn't greedy. "I would walk with you, but I've just got to drop a couple of things off at my apartment first. But I'll be along soon, I don't live far away." he said as he began walking back towards his apartment, "I'll see you there!" he waved as he looked back, before turning a corner off down another street. Looks like he was making friends already.

Jesse smiled at Amzie as she cleaned and as she walked over to them once more after bleaching all the chairs, his arms wrapping around her waist gently as she spoke to Kurt, informing him about the two bars that were already pretty damn popular bars that were both owned by Amzie. As she winced from the bleaching hitting her skin and it starting to sting a bit, his hands gently cupped over her hands and rubbed very gently at them to soothe away the pain from them to help it go away before helping her clean and lock up before walking out with her and Kurt, yawning a little before popping his neck as he usually did as he looked up at the sky which was now almost filled with storm clouds that foretold the storm that was on its way to their home town, We better be getting to Spyder's Web pretty damn fast if we want to miss getting completely soaked, of course...standing in the rain if enjoyable...but I would rather not get this damn shirt wet Jesse said as he pointed out that he was in a white button down shirt, one of the kinds that if the fabric got wet it was almost practically see through, but then having his usual black jeans and black shoes, his jeans always being a bit looser than normal, having them resting right where his waist sat, never wearing a belt unless he really had to which wasnt that often Kurt, if it starts rainin' you should bring a jacket or somethin for when you leave cause its suppose to just get worse and worse until tomorrow afternoon, so come prepared alright? he said smiling at him cheerfully before turning back to Amzie, ready to go whenever she was ready, his hand linked with hers like a boyfriend should.

Kurt had already left by the time that Jessie told him to get a coat, so he didn't hear his advise. It didn't take him long to get back to his apartment, and as he passed through the hallway towards his door, the door opposite swung open and a large, balding man addressed him. "Bennet! We've had complaints from people saying there's been a lot of noise coming from your side of the building!" the man said in a loud voice as he put his hands in his pockets. "Mr. Rivetti, you know I never make any noise. I don't even own a television." Kurt told him, though he knew that wasn't what he was talking about. "No, no. Music! A lotta loud music! Mrs. Darkmane said she had friends over and all they could hear was 'rock and roll'." the man rolled his eyes as he emphasised the last part. "If I don't own a television what makes you think I've got a sterio either?" Kurt pushed a cd that was sticking out of his bag a little further in as descreetly as he could. "Well, make sure I don't get any more complaints!" the man grumbled, slamming the door and walking back over to where his tv would be.
Kurt sighed, Mr. Rivetti was the landlord and just happened to live across the hall from him. Mrs. Darkmane didn't like Kurt because he was young, and she hated all young people; said they were killing society. Kurt put his key in the lock and turned it, freeing the door and then walking to the apartment, placing his bag down on the floor and closing the door behind him. He looked out his window and stared out over Cape Haveland. He didn't realise it before but he could actually see Spyder's Web from here, if he squinted. He quickly got changed and threw his old clothes onto a pile of dirty washing that he did once a week. It was hard living by himself but he got by. He put on a black shirt and a pair of old jeans and then opened the window to see how cold it was. To him it seemed alright so he decided not to take a jacket, not knowing that it might rain later.
He closed the window again and heard a beep come from his laptop, and noticed that the light was still on. He opened it up and saw that he hadn't shut it down properly. He was about to do so when he noticed that someone had sent him a message via e-mail. He didn't remember setting it so that it would inform him when he recieved messages but looked at it anyway. The e-mail address was witheld and there wasn't a subject so he scanned it for viruses before opening it just in case. The e-mail read;
Those who wander the night seek the life of the innocent. Those who bare the sign of the clan are marked for death.
He laughed to himself, unsure of what it meant and closed the message, shutting his laptop down and making sure he'd done it right this time. He made sure that both windows were closed before checking he had everything that he needed; wallet and keys mainly. He reached into his pocket and took out the card for the Spyder's web, before looking out the window once more too memorize where he needed to go. Then he shut off all the lights and headed out once again. He was as quiet as he could be but he heard Mr. Rivetti get up out of his chair again and quickly jumped the banister, skipping a floor to the bottom. He landed a bit crooked but he didn't hurt himself and quickly ran out the door to get away from his demanding landlord. It was a risky thing to do but he figured it was worth it to save getting an ear-bashing off that old coot.
Kurt straightened himself up and headed off down the street towards Spyder's Web when he felt a drop of rain land on his forehead. He should have brought a jacket...
