Welcome!
B l o o d i e d I n k is a slash roleplay, rated P G - 1 3, and geared more towards the mature crowd, which means you have to have a modicum of maturity toactually post and participate. Slash, however, isn't the only coupling here; we al so have Het and Gen as well, slash is just featured because it makes the world go round.
This RP is also for those roleplayers that want to focus more plot with character development without all the big explosions, but you can definately have those too.
Character of the MOMENT
Congratulations to:: Elannryia Lachlan!

Amzie sighed. It had been a long day for A.C.M, and it was taking its toll on the 18 year old from Los Angeles. Her vibrantly coloured eyes glittered like diamonds, their unique golden-white/green colour illuminating the rest of her perfectly ovular face. Her full, cupid's bow lips were set, as she was bent over a book of figures, calculating the income of the store thus far. It had been 5 days since A.C.M had officially opened, and it was already one of the most popular spots in Cape Havaland. Her shoulders were tense, and she was sore. She'd been tattooing and piercing since 6 A.M, and one foul glance at the clock told her that she'd been working for 16 hours. It was 8 P.M, but the parlour didn't close until 11. She was outrageously tired, but with Courtenay, RJ, and Alicya out because of strep throat, she was short a few hands. So, graciously, she lent her own. She was inside A.C.M at all times, unless she was out to stock up. Her life was all about making sure her business stayed successful, and if it didn't, then bully for it. She'd kill herself before A.C.M went out of business.
She glanced up as Anaiis kept looking at the clock, and sighed. "Ana, if you need to go, go ahead and clock out, hun. I'm sure we can manage." She flashed the older girl a smile as Anaiis rose to her feet, slightly embarrassed, but grateful to Amzie nonetheless. After Anaiis had left, Amzie sighed. "Okay, A.C.M employees, lets step it up a notch. We've built a real good rep here, and I'd hate to ruin that!" Her eyes blazed with a fire that was determined to hold their reputation high. She tattooed and pierced those who had no other station to occupy, and she ran the register as well. She smiled and thanked every customer, and her smile was bright, white, and endless.
She pulled her hair up into a ponytail at one point, revealing the tattoo of a dragon surrounding a heart that she'd paid Jesse Summers, her fiance and fellow A.C.M manager and employee, to ink into her. She ran her fingers over it lightly, then got to work. She'd pierced and tattooed herself a few times, but there were a few you could tell that she'd definately done. Her belly button, her tongue, and her lip were the only piercings you could really tell she'd paid attention to. She were a pair of lowrise jeans that sat just below the soft, jutting curve of her hips, and an A.C.M Tattoos and Piercings tee, that she'd sewn and designed herself. All her employees wore them on one day a week, and it happened to fall on a Friday. She let her bangs cross her unique, glittering eyes, and her lips relaxed, as did the rest of her face. She was perfect ; and many hated her for her beauty. She didn't flaunt it ; she just...was.
She bit her lip ring slightly, and returned to occupy the front desk once she was sure her employees could handle the rest, and resumed calculating the day's profits thus far, and filling out payroll slips. payday was on Monday, and she didn't want to fall behind. As she worked, the door opened. It was Jesse's day off, and she hoped it was him. All the while, though, her eyes stayed on her paperwork.

As Amzi looked down at her paperwork for the now, and still growing, popular 'hot spot' of Cape Havaland, A.M.C tattoo's and peircings, which could be seen by the art on the residence of the area and more, a 19 year old Jesse Summers, who was now officially Amzi's fiance for about a week or two had just stepped through the door with a bag of what could be smelled as, Italian food, which he knew was one of Amzi's favorites.
Jesse smiles his perfect smile at her and shook his head at his fiance as she was working herself to death. Jesse had dark and deep blue eyes which had a hint of green in them and slightly short 'emo' styled hair which was currently black with dark red streaks in it, which was now his favourite color for his hair. The 19 year old walked up behind Amzi with a slight smirk, telling all the employee's that had seen him come in not to tell her because he had an intention to scare the hell out of her which was one of his all time favourite past times.
Jesse slowly yet very quietly creeped up behind her and suddenly wrapped his arms around her which had caused her to jump like always, HA I got you once again...I am good Jesse was now laughing under his breath putting the food down ontop of her paperwork. Baby, you've gotta stop working yourself this hard. Your gonna end up killing yourself and then that would make me kill myself and then a never ending cycle of sadness would occur. While saying this Jesse had wrapped his arms around her waist and linked his hands together at the front of her stomach, leaning his chin on her shoulder gently, Atleast eat. Then you can get back to work...and why didnt you call me? I could have came into work today

" HA I got you once again...I am good"
Amzie had jumped as he'd held her, but her features relaxed into a smile, laughing softly at his stealth. "Yeah yeah...show off. You never fail, which is sad, really. You'd think I'd be used to it by now." her voice was full of sarcasm, and her eyes glittered with a warmth that only those who were close to her, along with her employees, would understand. She stole a kiss from him, and kept on working, her hands moving furiously across the page to finish filling out the payroll sheets. She frowned at a calculation, and redid the math, only to figure that she'd multiplied wrong, and cursed. She whited it out, and started over, her head leaning gently against Jesse's. Her skin was cold, and it felt uncannily pleasurable to have Jesse's warm skin against her own frigid skin.
"Baby, you've gotta stop working yourself this hard. Your gonna end up killing yourself and then that would make me kill myself and then a never ending cycle of sadness would occur.
Amzie sighed and leaned against him. "Yeah, well if I don't get this done, then everyone won't get paid, the bills won't get paid, our rep will go down, and if it keeps going down, I'll have to close. I'd rather die than see that happen to my business. I refuse to see my business die, and I want my employees to want to work for me, not quit because the boss gets behind on payroll and paperwork." She looked back down at the figures and sighed, before triple checking her math before signing the page off, and closing the books. She checked the clock, and sighed. It signaled that the rather popular parlour had still 2 hours of business, but if it kept on being as slow as it was on a night...Amzie sighed again. "You know, if it keeps on being this slow, I might close at 9 or 10 instead of 11..." she whispered gently to him.
"Atleast eat. Then you can get back to work...and why didnt you call me? I could have came into work today"
Amzie smiled and kissed him lightly. She peered in the bag, and laughed softly. " I love you....you sure know how to weaken me..." she murmured to him as she pulled out her share and moved the business books aside, and cleared room for him. She looked at the clock again, and sighed softly. All the stations were empty, and her employees were whining. " Okay, all of you can go clock out and go home. I'll close tonight." She smiled as the others rose, clocked out, and left her alone with Jesse and she let out a breath. "My god! Finally." She leaned over and brushed her lips over Jesse's in a soft, passionate kiss before moving back and beginning to eat what he'd brought, waiting for replies and striking a decent conversation.

Jesse smiled at the feeling of her perfect lips against his as his arms stayed around her delicate yet perfect frame, his hands linked together at the front of her stomach.
As Amzie had decided to close earlier than usual Jesse smiled at the fact that she would finally stop working and tend to her own needs, Jesse had always admired her passion for wanting to make other happier than herself no matter how difficult or how impossible it seemed she ALWAYS found a way to accomplish her goals, which was one of the many reasons he had fallen deeply in love with her. Oh my god...She is actually clocking out early! ITS GONNA SNOW! Jesse said with a slight bit of sarcasm in his playful tone at her as his chin gently rested at her shoulders while she ate, having already eaten before getting to the tattoo parlour.
Jesse then looked at the clock as it struck 9:15pm before looking back down at Amzie Hey, Lets lock up and get home before it starts to pour down rain. I watched the news today and that hurricane is supposedly coming our way he said softly as he let her go to walk around to the front of the desk

Kurt sat at home, sitting in the chair looking out the window with his laptop in front of him. Open in the browser was a dark, gothic looking web site with a blog open; It was Kurt's work. He was working as a shadow writer for a rich but not-so-famous celebrity called Victor Mendoza. He wrote a book a couple of years back that didn't do to well, so this time he was employing the writing hand of Kurt to do it for him. Kurt didn't mind, he just wanted his work to get out there. It was always good to see the feedback on the web site for his writing, people seemed to enjoy it and they always had good things to say. The story, as it was heading at the moment, was about a young man living Germany during the renaissance and falling in love with a courtesan. He was a writer, just like Kurt, but their love was forbidden and the story left off with the couple running away together and the courtesan revealing to the man that she was a vampire. Kurt knew that now vampires were mentioned the story would get a lot of attention from the younger audiences, as well as the older; people liked vampire stories.
He closed the lid on his laptop and put it to one side as he stood up and looked out the window. He put his hand into his pocket and took out a piece of paper with A.C.M written on it. He'd been talking earlier to a girl about tattoos and how he was considering getting one, either that or a piercing, and she'd told him about this popular place nearby that was apparently really good, and not too expensive. He wasn't really sure if he really wanted a tattoo, he felt like he just needed a change in his image, but nothing big. He put the piece of paper back in his wallet and walked around the chair and off towards the door, grabbing his keys off the side table as he did so. He left his apartment, and heard the sound of footsteps as the landlord from across the hall headed towards the door. Kurt quickened his pace to get out of there, not wanting to speak to the man who would just bug him for more money even though he had already paid him this month.
As he walked out into the street he stopped for a second to remember where he was going. He stared off into space for a second, pondering the directions before it came back to him and he headed off. He wasn't really sure what he wanted but he figured that someone there could give him some advise. He hoped the people there were nice; if they weren't he'd be forced to leave, as he can only tolerate people for so long. He hated going out in public most days. He found people to be ignorant, uncaring and entriely annoying. He was wearing a pair of dark jeans, along with a black shirt and jacket. His hair fell down past his eyes as he walked, shielding him from the people he passed. He liked to go into a world of his own whenever he entered into public.
Before long he turned a corner and saw the shop not to far away. He saw a boy walk into the shop and figured it would still be open, but as he opened the door he was met by a group of people wearing the shop shirts leaving and had a very confused look on his face. After they'd left he pushed past and poked his head through the door, looking around. The place looked pretty good, and it was clean too which was always a good thing to see in a tattoo parlour. Inside there was the guy that he'd seen walk in and a girl who he didn't recognise, but she looked like she worked there. "Uh...this place still open? Or you shutting up?" he asked as he stepped through the door. He didn't really mind if they were, he would find something else to do tonight and he could always come back tomorrow. He turned his head and looked at the sign on the door that showed him the hours and saw that they were supposed to be open for a while longer, but decided not to question it in case something bad had come up.

"Hey, Lets lock up and get home before it starts to pour down rain. I watched the news today and that hurricane is supposedly coming our way" ... "Uh...this place still open? Or you shutting up?"
Amzie looked over and spun, smiling. "If its just you, I don't mind. What's your pleasure, hun?" Her tone had flawlessly switched gears from loving fiancee to owner ans fellow employee of A.C.M. She rose to her feet gracefully, and moved like a dancer to her station. She knew she was pretty, and she sat at her own station, the neatest, and cleanest, and shot Jesse an apologetic look, before pulling on latex gloves, and a pen and pad of paper. "Come on back, and I'll get started with you. Your first time here at an A.C.M parlour?"
She was uncannily pleasant, and did her job well. She tightened the ponytail her hair was tied up in, and rolled up her sleeves. She set out her needles and inks, as well as blotting clothes, and her piercing needles. She pulled out a clipboard of paperwork, and held it over the desk. " I know its a pain, but can you fill that out for me, and then as soon as you've signed them all, I can get started." She smiled again, and waited. She glanced over at Jesse, her eyes sparkling a little. She rose and moved over to him, giving him a quick, light kiss on the cheek before grabbing a few more bits and pieces and walking back to the store room, to stock up her inks.
She looked over at the young man who had entered, and smiled, reclaiming her chair at the station, and waited. Her patience was endless, and she let him take the time to read through every little detail of paperwork, and waited to be told the design of the tattoo, or the type of piercing her wanted. Or, if her luck was good, both. She rubbed her neck lightly, sighing a bit, and waited patiently, glancing at Jesse every once in a while.

Kurt entered further into the store when the girl informed him that she was still open, and was appreciative that she was staying open just for him. He closed the door behind him out of curtesy, he wasn't born in a barn, and then proceeded to look over this paperwork. "Yeah. I've never had a tattoo or piercing before." he replied as he took a pen out his pocket. He always had a pen on him. He didn't really care too much what it said and just filled in all the boxes making sure he crossed all his t's and dotted all the i's. He glanced up as he saw the girl walk over to the boy and kiss him before going off somewhere in the back. Kurt knew he needed a girl, he had to little to do these days, but he could manage.
Once he'd finished filling in the paperwork he handed them back to the girl and smiled a little; he thought it only polite to smile back when someone smiles at you. It was only then he really noticed how good looking she was, but shook the feelings off. She was taken and clearly not interested in him. There were pleanty of other girls out there anyway and even though he may not be the best looking guy in the world he certainly wasn't ugly. He was just looking for someone in all the wrong places, if he was really looking at all.
"I'm not really sure what kind of thing I want, if you know what I mean? I just felt like having adding something different to my appearence. I was hoping you could suggest something?" Kurt had quite a lot of money, he made a pretty penny from his shadow writing because this celebrity was over-zealous with his cash and paid him very well, so he didn't mind getting something that cost a lot; that usually meant it was good quality anyway and it's always good to help out local business, especially those run by people as young as her. He had the feeling she was one of the owners of the place, and that the other guy might be running it with her and respected her for it. If he could run his own business he'd be glad to do so, but he'd never be able to keep on top of all the paperwork.
It's always so simple writing for this guy. Every monday he send him the basic storyline of the next part of the story. Then, Kurt spent the next two days writing it. On the Wednesday it was sent off back to the man so that he could read it through, and they had a day to change any things that needed changing, though they hadn't come across any problems yet, and on the Friday it was uploaded onto the web site. Kurt's name was on the site, but he wasn't down as being the writer. He was down as being the artist for the story, which wasn't a lie as he did all the artwork himself for a bit of extra money off the guy. It wasn't hard to think of stuff for a gothic looking, vampire story.
"Any ideas?"

"I'm not really sure what kind of thing I want, if you know what I mean? I just felt like having adding something different to my appearence. I was hoping you could suggest something?"
Amzie smiled, and pondered for a moment. " Well, lets see. There are lip rings, which me and my boyfriend, Jesse, both have and prefer. There are tattoos of vampire symbols, dragons, angel wings, for your whole back. That sort of thing." She pulled out a book of tattoo designs and piercing types, and handed them over. She offered another perfect smile, and glanced over at Jesse again, her eyes warm and understanding. She gave the lone person a moment to ponder his selections before replacing her gloves. "Right, then. What shall it be?" She smiled and waited.
Her business had been running smoothly for nearly 6 years, and she glanced at the awards that hung blatantly on the walls. She smiled as her uniquely coloured eyes traveled over every last one of the hundreds she'd obtained. She sighed as her eyes rested on one particular one. The very first one she'd received. She tore her eyes from it, and glanced around A.C.M. The parlour was perfectly set up, sterile, clean, and welcoming to those who dared step into it.
Her attention moved quickly back to Kurt as she waited expectantly. She was prepared for anything he would request, every needle sterilized and clean, packaged in a way that no one but herself to break into them. She brushed her hair back from her eyes, the colours of her hair dancing under the lights. She waited, and kept her hands still, her eyes on her customer, anticipating the whir of her tattooing needles or the wincing of her customer as she pierced him. Her wait was nearly over, and she forced back the lust for the blood that would be spilled.

Kurt listened intently as the girl explained about the different styles and then looked through the book of tattoos. As he flicked through the pages he saw a few cool looking tattoos but one of the vampiric symbols caught his eye; it was one that the man he was working for used. He'd sketched it into a piece of paper and told Kurt that it was very important that was on the web site. Either it was a well known symbol directly related to vampires, or he just really liked that symbol in particualar. Kurt turned the book around and pointed to the tattoo. "I'd like that one, please." he was very polite in his words, he was a polite person generally anyway. "And also, a lip piercing could be cool." he laughed, "I'll give it a shot."
Kurt removed his jacket and placed it down before turning around and pointing to his left shoulder blade. "On my back here if that's okay?" he said before turning back round to look at the girl. He didn't know how business was done here, but he knew in some places they demanded payment first. "So what's the damage anyway?" he said with a smile, reaching his hand into his pocket to grab his wallet in case he needed it.
Kurt hoped that getting this tattoo wouldn't be a bad idea. With a piercing it wasn't so bad because if he didn't like it he could simple take it out and it would heal up, but tattoos are pretty much permanant. He heard you could have them removed, but couldn't remember if that was painful or scarring at all. But if it was a mistake then it would be one he learned from because if he couldn't get rid of it then he'd have a permanant reminder of it. "And uh....which one did you wanna do first?" he asked the girl. He'd need to take his shirt off when they did the tattoo. It was a good job he didn't have a problem with being semi-naked in public. He hoped he never had the urge to get anything tattooed anywhere near his private parts. He didn't know if he could have a girl like her that close to him without getting at least a little excited.

Jesse smiled at the young man that had walked in and had had a slight sense of deja vu of his appearance, somehow he had seen a picture of this man but he simply just ignored the feeling for the moment and walked over to the man happily and placed a hand on his shoulder, Hey, if this is your first time here dont worry about how much money it takes, usually all our tattoos cost cheaper than those you would find else where and you get a better tattoo as well. The peircings are just about the same way. he said with a cheerful smile at Amzie then looked at the tattoo the man had pointed at before nodding in satifactory before then looking over at Amzie Hey baby girl, Once you get done with the tattoo for him I'll do the peircing if thats alright with yeah so you can finish up cleaning here while I work, besides it'll give me somethin to do he said as his eyes stayed their usual deep blue color before looking back at the young man Iiif thats alright with you mate which the term 'mate' being used meant to him of that being a term used for a friend or an aqcuantance
After the man had chose his tattoo Jesse walked over to the counter and jumped up to sit on it which he actually didnt have to jump because of how tall he was but he felt like it from all the extra energy he had from stopping by at Spyders Web in the morning. Jesse every now and then smiled over at Amzie as she worked, watching her as she tattooed the man, being still a novice at the tattooing arts but being very talented with peircings which may have been why Amzie had thought of hiring him in the first place as well as adding something besides tattooes to the parlour

Kurt jumped a little when the guy put a hand on his shoulder. He wasn't used to having people touch him; he was usually quite reserved. He turned his head and nodded to the guy when he suggested doing the piercing so that the girl could have the time off. "Sure, that's fine by me." he told them as he removed his shirt. If the tattoo was first he would need to. He placed it down on top of the jacket before realising that he was still wearing his glasses that he wore whenever he wrote and took them off, making his green eyes more visible.
He always wore glasses when he wrote. He didn't need them and they were in fact only filled with glass, but they helped him to concentrate. They made him feel smarter and as a result he acted smarter and his writing was better. It was a strange habbit but it worked for him so he did it anyway. Though it confused people when they asked him why he did it. "Heh...writing glasses..." he said as he put them back into his pocket.
He walked over to the chair and lay down in it, leaving his back visible for her to tattoo him. He figured that it would probably be painful but he had a lot of willpower and knew that he could take it. He thought that she would probably go easy on him anyway, being as it's his first time; girls had gentle hands anyway, and she seemed like a gentle person. "So how long have you two been running this place then?" he asked, trying to make conversation. He didn't know how long this was going to take and it might be a while.

""So how long have you two been running this place then?"
Amzie smiled as she set a black ink, and outlined it in pen, before very gently pressing the needle to his skin. "Okay, it might sting a bit, but if its done right, it shouldn't hurt at all." She pulled a mask over her mouth, and began the delicate process of inking the design into her client's skin."I've got another one of these parlours up in L.A. I worked there for 6 years before moving down to Cape Havaland. Jesse has been in the business for 2 years." Amzie casually replied as she worked. She blotted away the excess ink, revealing a true masterpiece upon Kurt's skin. As she worked, she occasionally glanced up at the clock. She wiped away the blood, and sterilized the equipment again before allowing him to walk to the double mirror in the back, and let him see the exact image he'd shown her etched into his skin. The piece had taken a little under an hour, and she hoped he was pleased. " Right, when you're ready, Jesse should be able to pierce you. Just tell him what you want."
She rose fluidly, washing and sterilizing her hands before walking to the the books and adding this last entry into it. She wrote out a receipt for Kurt, and set it on Jesse's station table. She then proceeded to wrap up every needle and such in the place, capping all the inks, sterilizing the reusable things. She carefully covered the sterile equipment before setting it all behind the front desk, in a safe. She twisted the lock shut, and sighed a little. She sat back down at the front desk, and waited for Jesse to be finished. She let down her hair, the strands tumbling down her back in a multicoloured waterfall. Her eyes were slightly dulled from exhaustion, and lack of sleep. She drummed her fingers on the table, and began to doodle some more tattoo and piercing designs.
One of the many things Amzie prided herself on was her ability to create masterpieces from scratch, and make people want to buy and wear them. She went through a whole page before she stopped, hearing the silence of Jesse's equipment. She smiled faintly, and rose again, collecting Jesse's equipment, letting Jesse ring him up. She sterilized Jesse's needles and placed them in the safe along with the others, and kicked back behind the desk, waiting.

Kurt endured the pain as she gave him the tattoo, and then moved to view it in the mirror. She'd done a great job, better than he'd expected in fact. This place really was good. It looked like she'd just printed the picture in the book onto his skin so he was pleased with it. He thanked her as she walked away to clean up and grabbed his shirt and jacket, putting them on again. Once he'd put his jacket on he realised that it was inside out, and sighed as he took it off again, turned it the right way out and put it on once more. He often did things like that.
He watched as the girl wrote out his reciept and then placed it by another station, so he went and sat over there, asuming that was the guy's workstation. "I don't mind too much. Just a ring or something. Whatever you think'd look good, I guess." he said as he pointed to the left side of his bottom lip, indicating where he'd like the piercing. He had no idea what he wanted really, but he would be happy with whatever. The tattoo certainly came out well so he was pleased with the service they gave already.
He tried to plan what he was going to do after. It was a friday night so he was considering going to a club or something, though he didn't really know many places. He didn't want to just go home and sit around like he always did, and his small group of friends were all on holiday at the moment. He was going to be joining them but he had to get a new passport and it didn't arrive in time.

Jesse smiled at Amzie as she placed the receipt at his station before the young man came to his station and pointed out what he wanted and where as he pointed to the side of his lip where he wanted before turning to grab his equipment at his counter top right behind him before skillfully placing a fresh needle at his lip to numb the spot to lessen the pain as much as possible, surprisingly no blood had appeared at all that time. Jesse then grabbed a lip ring with a small design of black angel wings on them which at that point were one of the most used and one of the most popular lip rings they had sold up to this day besides the gem and colored rings. Jesse by then had made a perfect spot to place the start of the lip ring in and had placed it shut, having made a perfect lip peircing for him exactly where he had pointed. There we go, All done now I really hope ya like it and hopefully we'll be seein ya again. he said cheerfully as Amzie had taken his equipment to sterilize and lock them up safely once more before adding the peircing onto the receipt and handing it over to him, Ya know, If you get no where else to be tonight you should really go to a place called Spyders Web, We also own that place but its a bar so. If the weather isnt that bad I'll be working over there tonight and besides you might have fun over there he suggested before walking over to the cashier to stand next to Amzie

Kurt endured the pain of the needle, though he'd had several before in his life and the tattoo was worse so it was nothing much, and then didn't feel anything at all when he had the piercing put in. He prodded it for a second as the boy walked away, suprised that it took to little time. "Uh...thanks." he said as he stood up again and filtered through his pockets for his wallet.
He fumbled around for a couple of minutes before eventually find it, just in time to hear the guy walk about the bar. He'd never heard of it before, but if it was run as well as this place then he'd get good service. He was never a fan of hanging out in bars, choking on smoke and watching other guys pick up girls while he drowned his sorrows in a glass of whiskey; but he decided to give it a shot.
"Yeah, sure. Could be fun." he said as he walked upto the two of them. "So, what's the damage?" he asked, looking through his wallet, which was filled with notes, to his suprise. He even had a $100 bill, something he hadn't had in his wallet for a long time. He was glad he'd taken on this new job. It was solving all his financial issues, which in turn was looking to solve all his socialising issues as well. "Where is this bar anyway?"
