Order and Chaos were coming together. He had found the first book and, soon after he found the second. In a cave in North Scotland. It was almost impossible to get into. He had to swim in through a fissure, through to a wall of rock and then offer blood to pass. The cave had been used before. He could tell. The magic in the air. The bodies lying in the water, gastly faces looking up at him. He would have his revenge and sooner than he knew.

On, pass the bowl on the island and into the blackness. Then, it was. Hidden in the blackness was chaos. The book felt heavy in hands and but he opened it and found the second part.

'desvir, mira al'

With that he bided his time. He waited until he knew that the area was blank. That there was nothing to stop him. He knew now he was being watched. He knew that someone was following him, and had been for a while.

Still, the final book was near and he could feel it in his heart as he hammered towards it.

Then he found it. Order and Chaos had been easy to find. Too easy, but Phoenix was harder to find. Harder than he ever knew.

He had to follow several different paths. Follow them throughout the darkness until he reached it.

The beach was beautiful. White sands overlooking the atlantic. The cool breeze ruffled through his hair and he laughed. It was sunset. The tide was slowly creeping in, the small clap audible as the sea crashed against the sand. Perfect time to dig for treasure.

And what a treasure he found. He dug for minutes upon minutes until the shining silver of the last book stared out at him. It's title, Phoenix, shone brightest of all. He flickered through the book until he found the page he was looking for. The final spell was short. Too short. But still it told him everything he needed to know.

'avis'

'Apremcium Deloala desvir, mira al avis'he whispered.

But nothing happened. He knew where to go to set it off. The perfect place.

---------------

Gax Mopo found it hard to concentrate on things that morning. His eyes were weary and his head hammered. The five shots of firewhisky he had had the night before was surely to blame. But it wasn't his fault. Not really anyway. He found himself slipping away when presented with a documentation on speed charms and the board of recreational potion use had dropped a proposal in which he had to read up on.

As his eyes fell over the next paragraph he slowly began to dream of sleep.

'The mask potion, while it does alter once's perception has also been proven to help brain power...'

Suddenly it felt as if Gax's head had exploded as a rumble from above hit his ears.

All desires of sleep had fallen into abandon and he hurried up from his office and out into the corridor. Heads were poking out of offices and looking up. He followed a group of witches up to the atrium and then he saw what the sound had been.

The statue of hope, a wizard, witch, house elf, centaur and Goblin all stood on equal fotting had been torn apart. A man stood in the centre of the Atrium. A wand held up above his head.

A bird was flying around in circles and it was just a moment before someone cried out 'a phoenix!'

It was a Phoenix. The most beautiful Phoenix that Gax had ever seen. But he had never seen one. There were rare. There was only ever one recorded mention of a Phoenix in existence at any one time. So what was this one doing.

The man in the centre of the room looked rough and mad. His unshaven face and wild glint in his eyes was enough to send the hardest of wizards trembling to their knees. He cried out as the Phoenix suddenly dived.

'Apremcium Deloala desvir, mira al avis!'

There was a scream. A scream so terrifying that all those who heard it whished to die suddenly there and then. But they didn't. Gax didn't anyway.

A shining light was coming out of the mans wand. The Phoenix had all but gone though it was difficult to see through the blinding light.

Then the light fell and a gust of chilly air ran through the atrium.

Another bird was perched on the ground. Cocking up it's head. It was a Phoenix too but this one was different. It's whole body was black though it did have a tuft of flame red feathers at the top of it's head. It's eyes were black and shiny and held only a whisper of light.

The phoenix raised it's head and began to sing. It jumped into the air and circled the man. Wizards who were aware of the cease of action had drawn out their wands to cast stunning spells but their wands did nothing whatsoever.

The man laughed raised his own wand and cried 'Avada Kedavra!' and the few who had attempted to fight him were cracked dead. It seemed, magic only worked for him.

Then he moved. Across the atrium and then down. Down on the golden lifts until he reached the department of mysteries. The bird at his side. She would never leave him. This was his final victory. He knew where to go.

The Death room was empty. Ghostly screams echoed through the chamber but he ignored them. The veil stood in the centre and with the magic that she had in her, the Black Phoenix flew through it.

It was as if a thousand million earthquakes had ruptured the earths core. For hundreds of miles, people felt the ground beneath their feet tremble and clasp. Then when it eased away, he knew he had won.

Magic no longer existed. He had become the one true master of magic.
----
He panted for a minute, realising what he had done. He had one more thing to do.

He raised his wand again to his throat and cried 'Relial Maxim!'

And his voice could be heard by every being in wizarding Britain. From the small shire's in Cornwall to the Magical school of Hogwarts in Scotland his voice was heard and he relished the fact. For though they had magic running through their veins they no longer could use it.

'I am here.' he cried 'I am your master. If you defy me you will be killed. If you resist me, you will be killed. If any one defies my word they will be killed. You are under my rule. And I am your master. What is that I hear you cry? What is your name? I shall tell you.
My name is Adam Rainer and I will be your salvation.'
