I have finally made a decision on the direction I would like to take my career in life. I have decided to become a custodian. Ultimately what made me decide to do this was the simplicity of the job.
I think I would be particularly good at custodian work, as custodians don’t really have to communicate very well with anyone. I would be perfectly suited to custodian work using my mumbling strategy, because it’s really hard to mistake “I cleaned the foyer” or “I took care of the mess in the men’s room,” even if I am mumbling it. I could even just talk in grunts; whenever anyone asked me if something was done, I would simply grunt. No communication skills needed.
Also, I wouldn’t really have to think much. There would be no deciding if I should call my manager about an angry customer who ordered a burger that was smashed. This would result in me being able to think a lot on the job. I might even be able to become a part time philosopher with all the extra thinking. |
