Etna's eye was twitching, as she looked at the contents. "...W...What the...Waffles?!?!" She picked up one, it all syrupy and stuff. "Why waffles?!?!"

[Zecarius]

Laharl's eye began to twitch as he jumped out of the hole. "W... WAFFLES???!!!" the overlord shouted, summoning up a huge fireball to decimate the casket and the nearby demon.

[Katz]

Etna coughed, the soot being puffed out of her mouth in a smoke cloud. "Thanks Prince, way to really show the love..."

[Zecarius]

Laharl grinned. "It's called karma. Deal with it." The overlord sighed, as he looked around the graveyard. "Well, this entire place is a bust."

[Katz]

Etna chuckled. "Sucks for you, considering that you have such a 'happy' life and all." She walked up beside him, completely uncovered from the soot, and rested her arm on his shoulder.

[Zecarius]

Laharl shrugged off her hand, stepping forward again to look closer at the holes in the graveyard. "Well, considering that nothing has happened yet, I'm figured that I'm good."

[Katz]

Etna sighed. "Just make it seem like your life is so great... Everything bad always happens to me. I mean, look, Kerchevskoy dies... " Or so he thinks... "I was forced to betray you due to natural demonic angst... I got de-leveled due to some shoddy people..." She looked at Laharl. "My life really sucks."

[Zecarius]

Laharl shrugged. "Eh, you're like the dramatic anti-hero; seeming evil, but actually helps to save everything... and for that last one, it was completely your fault. The other ones were beyond your control." The overlord paused, then said, "Scratch that last comment. The second one was also your fault."

[Katz]

Etna grumbled to herself about the last two comments. However, she perked up slightly, and took a few steps away. "If you meant that as a compliment... then that's one of the nicest things you've actually said about me." Her eye twitched. "You haven't shown compassion since...well...Flonne."

[Zecarius]

Laharl shrugged. "Eh, it's whatever. Being at the castle all by yourself gives you time to think about... friends... and people close to you..." The overlord muttered that last part, a bit embarressed about admitting that.

[Katz]

Etna stepped closer to him, and looked at him curiously. "Because I'm trying to be serious for a little bit... What do you mean by 'people that are close to you'?"

[Zecarius]

Laharl glared at the female demon for a second before looking back at his feet. "I mean... you and Flonne... I guess... you know, people that are close to me."

[Katz]

Etna sighed dejectedly; this was not the info she was looking for. "...If you're feeling uncomfortable, we can just resume the graverobbing. Would you want that?"

[Zecarius]

Laharl nodded a bit, feeling uncomfortable with the whole situation. "Sure, let's do that," the overlord said a bit meekly.

Etna patted Laharl on the back, and actually smiled at him. "Hey, Prince... I'm here for ya if you need me..." She began to walk to the next grave, as she pondered about what just happened. Etna...Why are you acting so friendly towards him? He's just a spoiled brat! But... he considers me a friend... Gah, what to do... I mean, I do consider him a friend, and he's... She sighed from her internal conflict, and looked over at the demon prince, awaiting him.
