Joe had said his goodbyes to his loyal friends at the ARM Hunter base before the faction migrated everything over to it's secondary base in the Western Continent as the leader was a man of secrecy and silent commands and so he decided to keep his element of surprise and secrecy by making a new, widely unknown base in Arnhem. Joe however left to finish his own story and unfortunately, the ARM Hunters were not a part of it. He began walking through an empty plain, the land was still scarred from the war causing most of the grass to be rough or just not there. The sun was rising and if it werent for the actual terrain, then it would have been a perfect day so far.

Joe was on his way back to his ship however it had moved on since Joe said he'd catch up which he recently decided was a bad idea but he'd find a way as he does. He suddenly felt a cool breeze lightly press against him, although it did send a shiver down his spine Joe decided that he go against the wind, hoping for it to lead him to the ocean which was a step forward from an empty plain when it came to finding a ship.

(Sorry if my next few posts are bad, been awhile since I last RPed)

The punishing cold wind lashed at a weary traveller who traversed the desolate wasteland with much difficulty. He shielded his eyes with his right arm so as to defend them from the stinging caress of the winds. The sun was descending from the sky and light was fading away. The traveller knew that nightfall would only serve to bolster the frigid winds but, he had to be on his way for time wasn't going to wait for him. Each step forward felt like a step back. The lands seemed to stretch on infinitely. His sight hindered by the winds, the traveller couldn't tell if he was following the direction of the sun or an illusion created by his blurred sight. His stamina was wearing down due to the long journey and he knew that he wasn't going to last much longer at any rate. However, in the low-lying fog, he caught the glimpse of the fanit sillouthe of a man. He could have credited this to fatigue and blurred vision but, the sound of slow, prodding footsteps were enough of a confirmation to him that this person was real. Fighting against the bone chilling winds, Khanon pushed towards the man's location.

The young man sighed when he finally looked up hoping to see something other than grass. He then lowered his head again, trying his best to avoid the wind making contact with his eyes as they were already quite sore from a lack of sleep. His eyes began to water due to the wind taking away much of they're moisture so he stood up straight and rubbed his eyes with his shirt and then he saw someone, his eyes couldn't make out any specifics of the figure except that it was a person coming towards him. Joe took this oppurtunity and sat down, giving him much relief despite how hard the ground was, once the figure was close enough Joe began speaking.
"Oi" Joe shouted to get the other mans attention. "You wouldn't happen to know which way the ocean is would you? Or even better, a port?"

The words from the man in the distance were lost to the howl of the wind. It seemed to be getting worse every step forward he took and he was starting to loose hope on ever being able to reach his destiation by night fall. Khanon continued to walk towards the man in the distance, unsure of whether he was using his illusion to propel him forward or, the sillouthe really existed. However, he did hear something about the ocean and since he found that they were already in relatively close proximity, Khanon replied, "I don't know, I'm lost myself!". His pace began to slow as his body started to give in to the beating of the wind. He had drawn the attention of no monsters thus far but, it was probably since none thrived in this area due to the scarcity of food and harsh weather.

Joe's calm expression started to look curious when he noticed how beat the man was.
"Hey mate, you aint looking too flash." He said followed by standing up and walking over to Khanon, grabbing his shoulders and lightly pushing him onto the ground followed by standing up straight and saying.
"You need to rest mate. Now before we go to a first name basis. You want some water or something?" Although Joe wanted to save this water for his own desperation he figured that he'd find some more.... somewhere.

Khanon snatched the bottle of water from Joe but, took only a small sip of it, leaving more than enough for Joe. "Thanks." Khanon said as he struggled to his feet. "I do not go by a name." Khanon said as he got to his feet, wincing due to the old injury on his right thigh. "Call me what you wish." he said after he took a momentary pause to rise to his full height.

Joe packed the bottle into one of his many pouches tied to his trousers and such since he didn't have a bag. He then stood up straight and upon hearing he could call Khanon what he liked, he began to ponder on a name.... But could think of nothing so said. "Well my names Joe." Joe then stood there silently for a few seconds before asking. "So what're you doing out here?"

"The sun led me here." Khanon said, revitalized with the sip of fresh water. "And shouldn't one state the reason for his presence before he asks another?" Khanon said, his cat-like eyes dead locked on Joe's face. He had a relatively sly smile which, wasn't assuring at most times.

Joe wasn't sure if Khanon was trying to intimidate him or not so returned a similar look back at Khanon with his own steel blue eyes. "Well if you must know, I'm looking for my boat." Joe said before sighing. "And as you can see, I'm not exactly doing great. So then, why are you following the sun?"

"I wish to travel to the land of floating fire dust and winged sprites." Khanon replied in an emotionless tone. "I have business which I need to attend to there." Khanon continued, locking eyes with Joe. He was monitering this human carefully. He radiated an aura of great strength and devotion and this was something Khanon wasn't used to experiencing. The people whom he had met in his journey were nothing but feeble cowards who only seeked to satisfy their own needs. "An interesting human." Khanon thought.

Joe managed to hold back a bit of a laugh. Although fairies and such were common knowledge in MAR, Joe's conversations with people from Earth had given him a different perspective. He wanted to make a smart ass joke about it but he was pretty sure that Khanon wouldn't get it and even if he did Joe doubted any chance of him laughing judging by his tone. "So... If you like I could probably point you in the right direction. That is.... if you have a better description of the place." Joe said although would Khanon be willing to take advice from someone looking for a boat in what appeared to be an endless plain?

Khanon's witnessed an expression of restrained honesty overcoming Joe's face however, he chose to ignore it and decided to answer Joe's question. "What I said, is what I know. However, I do believe that this place lies in the Western Continent." he replied.

Joe chuckled and calmed before saying. "If you don't mind me asking, how do you intend to get from the Southern continent to the Western continent?" He spat into some random patch of dead grass followed by yawning. His sudden stop had done some damage to his momentum which was the only thing stopping him from having to force himself to not drop onto the ground to sleep.

"I'd walk." Khanon replied, unemotional in every aspect of his physical and cvocal reaction. "How about you? What cause are you after?" Khanon asked, staring at Joe as if he was some kind of unknown animal.

Joe couldn't help but wonder if he was talking to another person from Earth since he seemed unaware that there was an ocean between the south and west continents if he intended to walk. Joe then sighed upon hearing Khanon's question. He reallly didn't know how to answer... He then looked at Khanon to answer the question and noticed the look he was getting. Joe returned a similar look, trying to examine Khanon incase something happened. "I'd rather not talk about it. Long story short, I'm in need of redemption."
