The Electric Storm Rush, (Saku and Baze's thread)

Saku rushed toward a large tree with an opening at the base, and he jumped through it and hid from what formed outside. Rain, Thunder, Wind; nature wasn't letting him off easy today. Saku wiping the rain water off his head, materialized his wings and dried the rest of his body off by gust. Saku, satisfied with being dry, put his wings away. Saku heard the blasted storm rising, as the wind tackled the tree's side with force. Saku then heard a crack, which started turning into a series of cracks, which then came with a snap. The old tree couldn't hold up any longer, and the top of the tree flew right off of the trunk. It fell to the ground with a tremendous thud, and rolled till it was stopped by a group of healthier trees, which were still struggling against the mighty wind. Saku had to find shelter fast, as he was now getting pelted by rain again. Saku jumped out of his recently destroyed shelter and started his search for a new one.

Kikoto sighed, leaning against the trunk of a tree with her hands behind her head in a make-shift pillow. She nodded at the structure she had built to save her from the impossible weather battering the forest. It was holding up quite well, and she wasn't getting wet, so there were no complaints. This storm reminded her of her home, back at the prison, floating through its steel halls... She heard footsteps and snapped out of her daze, sitting up. The ring on her finger glowed and activated, turning into her staff. This would be Astra, that hellion had to be here somewhere. Narrowing her eyes, Kikoto didn't move. She kept completely still and even slowed her breathingf until it was barely there. This was when she would catch Astra.

Saku stumbled across the windy forest plains, trying to keep his balance because of the slippery mud infested ground. But it was too wet in this storm, so he caught himself slipping. Saku tried to regain his balance, but when he tried to lean forward, he ended up catching the wind with his body, pushing him into a face dive into the mud. Saku slid for a second as his body pivoted in the mud, then impacted his back into a tree trunk. Saku heard a loud boom go off as a flash of light bursted from the darkened night. Rain poured on his face as he got up, which was actually cleaning the mud off of his clothes. Saku then notice a red glow coming from the left of him, as he then recognized it as a forest fire, he guessed it was an old tree that went up in ablaze as it was struck by lightning. 'It'll go out eventially,' he thought to himself. 'So for now, I got to find shelter.' He started to walk again in seek of shelter, only hoping to get himself out of this madness of a storm.

Kikoto crouched and smirked, creeping out into the rain and wind. She moved quietly, swift enough not to be heard over the storm. Staff gripped tightly in hand, the woman spotted a digure, searching for shelter most likely. Kikoto narrowed her eyes, staring, watching and waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Saku was starting to hate this storm, considering it was taking away his senses, and was slowly beating him down. Saku now is more pumped to find shelter in order to escape this storm he loathes so much.

Kikoto slowly moved through the bushes and trees, sneaking up behind the other. Astra... its time you stopped running... She thought as she landed a solid blow to the figure. "Thought you could run forever, eh?!" She yelled before pausing and staring at the person to realize it wasn't Astra she had hit.

(Agh... Baze... why did you have to go and break a rule:

I'll let it go for this time, but pleaase be more careful with what you put down.)

Saku, getting knocked in the back out of surprise, was now yet again fast planting the mud. Saku flipped over in the mud and shouted at the person, "WHY DID YOU DO THAT FOR!!!" Saku started to activate his air a'rm and was getting ready for a battle.

Kikoto cocked a brow, "Forgive me..." She bowed slightly before crouching and looking at him. "I... thought you were someone else.

Saku sighed with relief as he deactivated his a'rm. Saku held out his hand, "Can you at least help me up please." Saku said wiping the mud from his forhead.

Kikoto blinked, then nodded slightly, stood again, and took his hand, helping him up. "Why are you out here?" She looked around wildly. "You could be killed. It isn't safe, shes still at large."

Saku took her hand and got up. "Thanks, uhh... who's at large." Saku asked, not knowing the news around this part of MAR, so for now, he was clueless for now.

Kikoto looked at him oddly before shivering slightly. "Lets head back to my shelter and i'll tell you there... where its dry." She turned to walk back through the bushes.

Saku tried to hold back his smile of relief, but ended up smiling anyways. "Thanks, that's exactly what I need." Saku said, following her through the bushes, which tended to also scratch at him with there some-what sharp tips.

Kikoto let her Staff return to its normal form then sat back in her spot, leaning against the tree. "Why're you out here?" She asked simply.

"Well..." Saku mumbled, then went off on the story of meeting a young girl, climbing up a mountain, getting attacked by trolls when crossing over a bridge, going through a cave with spikes poking at them, grabbing a whole bunch of arms - which later on he figures out that most to all of them turn out into duds-, escaping the mountain of arms before the mountain explodes, then getting cut off from the girl - he doesn't want to find her -(< That was my topic with Death, now moving on to ours. >), walking up the mountain some more, getting caught in this storm, and running into another girl - Aka: Kikoto. "And that pretty much covers why I'm up here." Saku ended, covering his head with his arms from the rain. "How much farther till we get there?" Saku asked, not knowing how much longer he could take of this accursed rain.
