Off to Fairy Country, Jay and Sylenia's neverending adventures

[Zecarius]

Jay walked up to the port and looked around. "If the stories I heard are true, then the fairy's homeland is out across the water. So we'll need to get another boat to get there." He looked at Sylenia, waiting to see what she thought.

[Katz]

Sylenia said, "This sounds...reasonable." She smiled.

The Cloak suddenly appeared. "Here is for the ferry." He handed Sylenia 200 Pewter. She disappeared yet again

Sylenia had the sweatdrop look. "O..k...well atleast we wont have to row!"

[Zecarius]

Jay was slightly confused. "Well..." he finally said, "that's pretty convinient." Jay had no idea where exactly the island was, so if they went rowing blind, they could have been stuck out there for hours without finding anything.

[Katz]

Sylenia said, "This is good, incase we had to row and get lost. Hey...is that a sailor captin' over there?"

[Zecarius]

Jay looked over in the direction Sylenia was pointing. "It appears to be one." he said, and began to walk over to the sailor. "Excuse me, but are you in charge of the ferry over to the fairy island?" He chuckled a little at the use of homonyms.

The captain looked down at Jay. "Aye, that be me." he replied in a gruff voice. "But ye sure that ye want ter go to that forsaken place? They say no man who visits that island makes it off... ALIVE!" He said the last word louder, to emphasize it.

[Katz]

Sylenia said, "What, is there some kind of pirate curse that makes them turn into squids or a random whirlpool or what?" She giggled.

[Zecarius]

The captain just growled. "This be no laughing matter, missy. The fairies, they seem like nice little critters. But then, they lure you in, and harvest your body and soul for food and magic." He reached up and tapped his eyepatch. "Aye, that's how I lost me eye. Twas twelve years ago, when the winds were howlin' fierce and the waves like an angry mule..."

Jay leaned over to Sylenia while the old sailor wove his tale of woe and misery. "Are you sure we can trust him?" he whispered. "He seems a little..." Jay pointed towards his head and spun his finger in a circle, making the sign for crazy.

Sylenia was somehow interested in this "pirate" story, "Did they hold you captive?" She said, shockingly.

[Zecarius]

The captain looked at Sylenia. "Oh yes, missy. They locked me tight on a rack and left me there to starve. Fortunately, I managed to gnaw off my hand and escape those devils." He gestured to his right hand, which was now a hook. "And you know what they did with me hand? They..."

The sailor rambled on as Jay glared at Sylenia. "Are you listening?" Jay said in a loud whisper, preventing the captain from hearing him. "I just think this guy's a bit clumsy and makes up these stories to convince himself of great adventures. Plus, he's still a bit crazy."

[Katz]

Sylenia said, "Yarr, now that I've heard your story, shall ye kindly take my crew to the shores of the fairy island, to avenge your losses!" She quickly turned to Jay, with a quiet whisper. "Deception technique, he thinks Im going to help him, giving us a free ride."

[Zecarius]

The captain gave a salty smile, wiping a tear from his eye. "Yar, ye be brave souls, ye are. And kind to, helping out an ole' sea dog. Yar, I'll take ye to the island." He raised his hook menacingly. "But don't be forgetting what I told ye." He then walked over to the ferry and got it set up, ready to sail. "Ready for sailin', ye landlubbers! Hop on board!"

Jay blinked at the captain's reply. He then looked over at Sylenia. "Remind me never to doubt your powers again." he said, amazed that not only did she stop his long-winded tale, but she also managed to get him to take them to the island... for free.

[Katz]

Sylenia smiled, and hummed mischeviously. She "hopped" onboard along with Jay, and prepared to set said. She said to Jay, "I rock, don't I?"

[Zecarius]

Jay grinned. "Yes, yes you do." He really enjoyed the girl's company, shich was good, considering the large amount of time that they had been spending together.

The captain turned to them. "Good, yer on board. Then let us sail into the blue!" The sailor removed the rope holding the ferry to the pier, allowing the ferry to sail free into the water... toward Fairy Island.
