Mino walked through Haranu Town with his eyes bulging. "What a Wonderful town" He thought to himself as he continued to walk. Mino suddenly just tripped and his head hit somebody in the chest. "Hey kid watch where your going or else" Said a loud rough voice. When Mino regained Stability he looked up into the face of the rude man who had addressed him as kid. He was muscular and big your ususal bully type. "My name is Mino not Kid, and you watch where your going" he answered back just as rudely. "You dare say such rude words to our boss" Said one of the muscular men to Mino. "We'll teach you a lesson" another one ofthe four men behind the Rude man continued. The two of them stepped out from behind their boss and one on the left aimed a Punch at Mino. Mino spun and as he spun his back slid along the man's forearm. He grabbe dhold of his arm and threw him into his comrade. "Next time pick your battles better or you might end up dead. Becuase I'm gonna be a Hero someday and everybody knows that heros have to be stronger then everybody esle" He said to the men. "Your a tough little midget but can you take down me I wonder" asked the rude man. Mino saw that the man wore a necklace that had a small sword hanging from it. Suddenly the Necklace changed into a Halberd. Mino actvated his ARM as well. "Lets see just how strong you are Mister Rude man" He shouted as he lunged at him. When their blades clashed sparks flew in all directions.

A crowd grew around the to fighting men. "Sweet nows my chance to prove what a great fighter I am and maybe just maybe the ARM Hunters will hear baout it and recuit me" He thought happily as the two swords continued to send sparks flying. Mino then returned to the real world and he was surprised to see that he was losing the battle of strength. "Mino stay focused!" Kingdom told him as he applied more pressure on Kingdom. Mino slowly started pushing the Rude man back. The Rude Man then jumped backwards he appeared firghtened by Mino. "I'll be back you idiot kid and then I'll kill you" He shouted a she and his remaining cronies retreated. Mino cheered loudly and the crowd cheered with him. "Well done young man. That was Yinku of the Yinkanga Bandits. They usually steal from all of the shops and none of us can stop them but you just stopped them and so quickly too" A old shop praised Mino while slapping him on the back.

A large rush of wind blew at all the people in the crowd as an explosion blew the members of the gang apart. Through the fire that was caused was Rai, leader of the ARM Hunters. He stopped walking ocne he was about a metre from Mino. Rai looked down at Mino.
"Thankyou for beating them, young man. I was unaware that those bastards were stealing from this town aswell. That caused our deal to break so I had to finish them."
Rai said referring to the explosion. Rai then looked around at all the people.
"Leave now and continue as you should. I'm to belive most of you are doing work for me. Failure normally does'nt end well."

Mino's grip on his ARM suddenly grew tighter. "Who are you to tell these people what to do like their your slaves" He said as he looked into Rai's eyes. "If they work for you then you should treat them like your firends not as if they should be shining your shoes" He continued as his magic flared against his own will. "Mino calm down. He gives these people protection he is good man underneath his harsh words" Kingdom told him.

"Hmph. I'll warn you not to attempt striking me. I can promise it will not end well."
Rai smirked as he sowly walked pass Mino. He then stopped.
"People, I don't want a fuss to be made over the deaths of some pathetic thieves."

"I never intended to strike you. Your name what is it?" He asked as his Magic fell back into it's normal state and Kingdom transformed back into his ring form.

Most of the villages really did'nt know Rai's name either so they did'nt budge even when he told them to. Rai turned to see the people had not continued on.
"People. I've been asking you nicley to leave this spot and continue your lives. Please do that or I will have to kill you for seeing and hearing too much."

Mino's Magic flared up again and he activated his ARM. "Stop talking to them like that!! Isn't it obvious that they like you even if you talk to them like your a king!! I know I'll never be able to defeat you at my current level of Strength but Lets have a competition instead" He shouted as Kingdom gave him multiple warnings to stop. "If I can hit you even once you have to promise to tell me your name and let me know where the ARM Hunters are. A guy like you for sure knows" He continued.

"ARM Hunters huh. If you hav'nt noticed something about the back of my shirt then you really don't belong in the ARM Hunters. Also I will talk to them how I wish. If it was apersonal conveersation it would be different but thats called buisness talking. Now people move or I will allow hordes of enemies into here."
All the people sighed and started leaving.
"Finally. Sometimes they can be so annoying."

Mino still had his back to Rai so he didn't see Mino's smirk. "I knew who you were the moment I felt your Magic flare up. Your at least as powerful as the Chess Leader Phantom. And their are only about two people are anywhere near Phantom and one of them leads the ARM Hunters Rai. Your twnety one years old. I knew all of this from the moment I saw your face and your wearing that can detect ARM. I Am the Tactical Genius Mino Sizuki." said as he turned around "Also I never turned around so I never actually saw your back. And finally you never answered my question about our contest" he continued as he went into battle postion.

"twenty nine, I wish. It would be nice to be that young again but that file must be over ten years old."
Rai turned around.
"Nope. I aint got time to fight you kid. Since you know I run the ARM Hunters, I might aswell say it. Running the ARM Hunters is not easy. So much work and deals and trades. Anyway I'll be off now."
Rai started walking again.
I hope hat kids not persistent like everyone else.

Mino started following Rai. "So wheres the Base Rai-Sempai" He asked smiling birghtly at Rai. "You better not thing I'm gonna quit just cause you don't like me" He thoguht to himself.

"I don't remember sayng I don't like you. So either you can read my obvious thoughts easily or your a lucky guess."
Rai started walking up the trail of some mountains.

"Oh so were friends huh. So tell me will I be killed the moment I step onto ARM Hunter property or no?" He asked quite nervous, and his nervousness showed in his voice.

"Not friends either. If you'll die, I don't think so but I'm not making any promises."
Rai chuckled a bit and walked into a small forest heading towards the base now and it was quite obvious that they were very high up in the tallest mountains out of the ones sorounding Harnau.

"Whoa, What a awesome view. Hey have you ever thought of looking inside these mountains for stuff. I mean it's the perfect hiding spot. High up in the Mountains it would be very difficult for people without combat experince to get up here so no one would be be able to get at it accept guys like me and you." He explained while he followed Rai.

"Why do you think I'm going here..."
Rai stopped once he was at a mountain wall that looked like ruins of a sort. He then stepped on a shrub a few metres away and pushed Mino through the wall as it was now able to walk through briefly.
"This is the ARM Hunter Base. It's four stories within this mountain. Now you know why we chose to biggest mountain."

Mino fell as he made his way through the wall. "That is the most awesome door I have ever seen Rai-Sempai" He shouted. He slowly made his way to his feet and dusted himself off. He waited until Rai came through the Wall to move.

(The base is set out like this:

It is 4 stories. once you get into the base you will be in a lounge and to the left of that is a kitchen and to the right are some of the rooms then forwards there is a huge stair case that goes down with a few guards and then you go down and the second floor is a massive hallway of rooms. The third floor is where all of our ARM and stuff go and where Hawk makes his ARM for everyone. Then if you go on the 1st floor and open the locked room with a huge amount of locks that is said to be Rai's main office but that leads to the 4th floor which has all important meeting with people from outside of the base and it has a spot to watch down at the town.

so basically the base actually spirals down through the inside of the mountain except the fourth floor which is above the first.)

"it took alot of work to make".
The door became solid about 2 seconds after Rai walked through.
"It was a long walk up. You want a drink?"
Rai said as he walked into the kitchen and grabbed two glass cups that he had stiolen a few years ago for the base.

"Yeah. I'd like some Water plese" He said a shis eyes absorbed all of the infromation he was seeing. "Hey Rai do you know somewhere I can get Kingdom Sharpened it's getting kinda dull." He explained

Rai filled the glasses with water since the base was tapped into a river just outside the perimeter of the mountains. Rai put both glaes on a bench after drinking from his. He slid Mino's across the bench towards him.
"Did you ever try Pazu Town?"

Mino stared at Rai with a blank look on his face. "I'm from Japan. I'm not even sure where I am now" He said as he looked around the base. "Also do I get a Team Jacket too?" He asked his face breaking out in a smile.

Rai sighed.
"Another out of worlder huh? We have a few of them."
Rai took another drink.
"The closet thing we have to identification of eachother is these two rings."
Rai tossed the rings lightly to land on the bench infront of Mino.
"One of them allows you to communicate with other ARM Hunters and the other will teleport you here. Oh and we now have a third ring."
Rai lightly tossed the third ring to the other two.
"That one will teleport you to the Arnhem Base, where Hao is incharge."

Rai took another sip of his drink.
"And this is Harnau. Your on the Southern Continent. If you leave Harnau and go over the mountains then try not to go too far. Because the Southern Continent has the Chess Pieces and since the War Games are happening, they are quite hostile to us."

Mino inspected the rings carefully. " How would you know ARM Hunters are dead? If the Chess are so Hostile to you guys how can you be sure all of your men are who they say they are?" He asked Rai with raised eyebrows. "Anyway wheres the nearest place I can get me some training in?" He asked quickly changing the subject.

"First. The ARM Hunters are much larger then they seem. We know if we're being watched. And the best place would be.... well anywhere."
Rai could'nt think of much else to say like Joe could'nt either.

Mino stared at his Glass of Water for about thirty seconds. He suddenly downed in one go. Mino stuffed the three rings onto his ring fingers and the third one on his right index. "OKay Rai time for me to train and your goign to help me" he said. Mino jumped to his feet and waited calmly for Rai to move.

"I don't even help my nephew. Why would I help you, kid?"
Honestly, I have to run the whole ARM Hunters, can't be training one person.

"Because I asked. And because I'm gonna be a Hero and everybody knows a Hero has to be strong before they can be a Hero" He said as if speaking to child. "So lets get started" He continued smiling brightly at Rai.

"You obviously hav'nt seen the real world. Therefore you can't be a hero. You'll hesitate to kill. So first lesson, seeing the world for what it is. Follow me."
Rai opened a portal and went through before signalling Mino to follow him.

Mino happily followed Rai through the Portal while whistling the tune to "Always look on the brighter side of life".

The two appeared out on a mountenas(Forgot how to spell this cause never really needed to spell it) path. Well more of above it on a ledge with alot of room to move where they could see most thigns on the ledge.
"Look there. That young lady has hurt her leg and can't continue. When someone comes by what do you think they'll do?"

Mino thought this was one of those clique RPG Video game actions. "Let me guess she's gonna steal from them or something. So she's a bad person but you were being a good person by helping but at the same time you were being a bad person by helping her cause she's a bad person" He explained as he walked up to the girl and torn his shirt by the sleeve and wrapped it around her injured leg. "I'm gonna help her Rai because like I said I'm gonna be a Hero" He shouted over his shoulder as he tested if the Bandages were strong enough.

"No! You litte f***nut. I was trying to make a much different point till you were an impatient little prick and went along and did that."
Rai sighed and opened another portal.
"Follow me and this time, watch and don't do anything that will affect the people we see."
Rai went through the portal.

Mino followed half shocked by what Rai had said and half annoyed at him. "Your the little prick" He retorted as he stared at Rai's back.

The two were now in a similar spot, just shadier. Rai whacked Mino over the head.
"Watch it smart ass. You'd be surprised at how many friends I have, including Death. He's a very close friend actually but he's a very sore loser."
Rai then remembered about the person.
"Now I need to remember what this one does because of you."
Rai read through a book.
"Oh, ok. This kid who is a boy is walking through...."
Rai flipped through some more pages.
".....The forest or something. And Uh.... well just watch and don't make a move or I'll remove your shins from your body, amking you a midget."
The boy dropped alot of pewter because he was a twat. Then a what appeared to be kind man helped him. The second the boy let his card down the man hit him across the head and more peopel came out put a sack over the kids head and stuffed him in a box.
"And now he's being sold to slavery. basically anyone nice has a dark side of dark streak or whatever. So if a Chess Piece appears nice for exmaple, you don't belive they are nice and try to deacapitate them or just kill them. However if they are too strong then kick them in the shin and then poke them in the eyes or try and blind them."

And that was how Rai saved christmas.....

Mino looked at Rai like he was a Lunatic. "So basically wat? Kill all Chess you meet was that the moral of this story" He asked feeling thorughly confused.

"Something along those lines.... Uh anyway... Go start up your training where ever because I'm seriously not goign to do it. However come back to the base sometime this week and see what missiosn you have."
(I'll put up the mission when I get home from school)
Rai then opened another portal and went through back to the base.

Mino walked through the portal and ended up inside of the Base as well. Mino then started wondering around the base trying his best to learn about the place.
