 | o0c- Hello! Is this good?
| -IC As Waytt neared closer to the borders, he coughed, and it was harder to breathe for some reason. He also was not able to see as well, he squinted his eyes, and kept walking. It seemed as if he was walking blind, he could not see nothing but things a few feet infront of him. He thought if he got ahead of it, it would clear. He trotted instead of running, with his luck he woud run into a tree. He was able to stay clear of the trees as he neared them, he found after being around it for a little, he was begining to be able to adjust to it.
Though he was able to see, it was still somewhat blury, he still cloud not see far distances, but in time hi figured he'd be ok. He held his head high at the moment, and tail was at a normal position. He slowed back to a walk, and looked around as he walked, he could hear birds, and all other animals. He listened to the sweet sounds they made, and infact enjoyed the songs of the birds. He growled as something flew with in three feet of his nose, he snapped at it too, warning it. Most likely a bird, he thought.
He did not hear sounds of another wolf, but who's to say they were not hiding somewhere. His aud's swivled in different directions to listen, his orbs dancing to watch where he was going. When he finally stopped at the border, a few feet over, he threw his head back and howled. He was hoping the Alpha would hear it. He sat on his haunches and waited silently. |

 | Just because I look relaxed- Finally.. Some action
| -Don't mean I am. A loud, angry bark errupted from Katsew's throat as she was awoken by the far off sound of a wolf at her borders. With a grumble the tricoloured she-wolf rolled onto her soft belly and stretched her limbs. A yawn spread across her maw and a brown - once pink - tongue rolled itself up within her jaws. Slowly blinking the sleepy gunk from her emerald eyes. The grumble of annoyance still set deep into her stomach, the tank like she-wolf slowly pressed her weight up into the air so that she was no longer lying on the den floor. Still groggy from her small kip, Katsew smacked her lips, trying to get moisture back into her dry mouth. A normal Alpha would be rushing to the borders immediatly to see who was there and why they were calling for them. But Katsew was not any usual Alpha. And howling, for one, annoyed her the most. It showed their impatience.. And with impatience, Katsew loved to take her time, push them to the limit. She was simply that kind of wolf.
And so, in a slow walk, Katsew navigated her misty grounds with exaggerated carefullness. Once three feet within the new wolf, Katsew simply stopped, her massive paw purposefully breaking a twig to alert the wolf's attention towards the bit of gloom that was her.
"Why hello," she said in a low husky voice, meaning to hide her gender. With practised silence, Katsew then sidled to the opposite side of the wolf before appearing out of the gloom, a growl emitting from her snarling jaws.
"You called?," she asked rudely. |

 | o0c- Don't eat me activeness
| -IC Waytt heard the twis snap, but he knew it was the alpha, he heard the wolf comming. He slowely stood up, and respectfully(sp) bowed his head. His head was always held high he was tought Warriors held their head high, and proud, along with their tail. So it was programmed in his head. Even know he turned down a different path then that of a fighter, it was still there. His tail was at a reasonable level. He listened to the alphas voice determing if the wolf was male or femora. He was not sure, because of the husky voice, but he would figure it out.
Waytt said "Yes that was me." He was not sure of what to say, he'd never been in a pack. He resisted the yearn to snarl back ,at his disatvantage of seeing, he was in no position to do so. "My name is Waytt Pueo." He said nothing more wating to hear what the alpha had to say. |

| -Don't mean I am. "I am Katsew," Katsew replied, her eyes never lifting from Waytt's figure, "I will not go any further than that on the subject of myself. These are my lands, Shadow Helm, accurately named don't you think? I am the Alpha here, and by my position I am eligible to demand the reason as to why you are trespassing on my lands." Her tone was harsh, silent, foreboding and final in one. Katsew did not take well to strangers when she was young, and still doesn't. And Waytt wasn't the wolf to start that change |

 | o0c- *sigh* bored.
| -IC Waytt watched the alpha carfully making sure no tricks were played. His mouth opened to speak, but he closed it, and nodded as she told him how the name was accurate, for the place of her choosing. He nodded again, and said to her, "I've come to these lands in search of a pack to join, I've been travling for two years, I wish to learn how a pack works, and it's laws. I've not been in once sence I was a pup, so I still have barely any concept of it."
He listened and heard that the wildlife noises had stopped, he noticed it hushed when the alpha came to the borders. He quickly dropped the thought, listning for the alpha to speak. |

| -Don't mean I am. "Well travelling," Katsew began after a brief moment of silence, her lips making the sucking noise of which lips make when they have been together for a while, "You may as well be. Because my dear Waytt, you do not seem like the kind of wolf I let enter into the depths of my realm. How can I tell you are nothing but a sleazy traitor, sent by another pack to spy upon my lands? To learn the beaten - and unbeaten - pathways that lie behind me, the mist that clings to everything scenting upon their fur as they return to their packs.. To spread the secrets I have kept secret oh so long?" Katsew always gets away from herself. A simple habit, but sometimes she means every word of it, sometimes, in the depths of her black mind, a light sparks.. Maybe the rambling isn't for nothing.
With a twitch of her fine long ears, Katsew quickly noted the absence of sounds.. There was no chirping of insects or birds who enjoyed her gloom, who swam through the mist as though it were a sea, towards the swamp deer that live near the treacherous peaks of Shadow Helm's hunting area. This sparked some interest in Katsew's locked mind. They never stopped, they had always gotten used to the sound of her aggrivated movements, through each generation they had learnt to respect her anger, for her anger was what kept her lands free of wimpy wolf scum. But their silence, their silence was strange. Was it the newcomer that had caused this, what was so dangerous about this wolf that made them stop, wonder, and look onto Katsew's and Waytt's mainly one sided conversation?
Katsew shook off the eerie feeling and returned to her current pretense... Had anything been disrupted, apart from the wildlife, in the stranger's arrival? Any new markings? Katsew sniffed. No, her scent still hung in its musky way, neither male nor female to the naked nostril.. And that's how Katsew liked it. The confusion on this behalf kept the dumber, and less confident, wolves away from her lands. Her lands, peaceful at times. Or full of the sounds of muffled barks, the sound of pounding hooves, the bleat of a dying deer, the ruffle of bald headed scavengers waiting nearby, fighting for scraps of flesh that falls from the mighty maws of the inhabitants of Shadow Helm. But would Waytt be able to experince this? His chances looked slim at this point. It would take alot to change Katsew's mind. |

 | o0c- Oh gee thanks
| - :P Waytt heard what she'd said, his heart dropped, spy? Why would someone think that? Well he thought it is because she merely does not know me like others do. I might have to retreat to my old ways, but it's something I wish not to do. He sighed, trying to think how to explain to her, about his past, surely he looked like no warrior, anyone could mistake him for a scrawney brute, who was weak, but again that was because one did not know him. His auds moved from left to right, there was noting to hear, no birds again, nothing. He looked back to Katsew, and said qucikly, he'd alredy wasted enough time thinking upon this, and thats not what he was here to do. "I'm no spy, I can assure you that."
He looked around once more, now able to see clear, he began to talk again, "I'll tell you the reason I do not know much about packs, and the reason I sound dumbfounded, as if I were a spy. When I was born so my father told me, I was the first in line for the alpha position after my father. When my mother decided to go on a hunt, and leave us with the den mother, they from what I heard went after a moose. My mother went to attack from behind and the moose spooked because a wolf in the front did something, and he struck out with his back hoof, leaving an imprint in my mothers head. She died that moment, and the moose fled. My father out of anger, took me from my siblings the day I was weaned, and I never saw them again, nor heard of them. He toutred me with no play, no time for anything, but fighting. I knew nothing else, then that. I ran from him when I turened a year old."
He paused for a moment, so Katsew could catch up. He sighed, his tassel ficked out of bordem. He did not speak for several seconds before continuing. It was a starin for his mind, to be able to remember such things, and to tell someone he just met. "After I ran, I was able to pratice hunting, which I learned brefily. I never knew much about packs, so I almost got teared to peices by two wolves on a different land, luckely I was able to out run them. I'd learned to be quick, when my father was teaching me. When I was two I still had no concept about packs, but I came accross this place, and thats why I'm here." He looked at her, hoping she would not take him as a spy, if she still thought of him as one, he would not know how to change her mind. He did not want to revert to his old ways, but hearing the tone, and seeing the anger in this wolf, he came to the conclusion he might have to, to fit in here in this pack. He scolded himself for picking such a pack. He did not want to become the warrior that he once was, but if he'd left it behind, then why did he choose such a pack? Was it returning? Was it the longning for yelps of pain from other wolves? Did it satisfie(sp) him, or was it the tase of blood that was driving him back to his old habbits? Or was it because he missed it so? Whatever the reason he had yet to understand it. |

| -Don't mean I am. "Oh cry me a river," Katsew snapped irritably, a good mood she was in? Yeah right. There were few occasions where Katsew was nice, even playful. Not since her home pack. The only wolf she'd ever cared for was Keriki, and Keriki had been looking after her ill sister when the Alpha took her from his pack, snarling that there was to be not runt to his name. And it was that knowledge, the knowledge of her being a rape pup was like a knife to the heart. Her siblings knew not of this, nor did Tekonathia, her mother. She was a runt, and alone in the big wide world. But that memory had long been pushed to the back of her black mind. In front of it, covering it well with many different variables, were schemes. Revenge plots, some thoughts of hunger. Normal evil wolf stuff.
But as Katsew turned her thoughts back to Waytt, his story did not explain the wildlife's fear. This amused, and angered Katsew at the same time.
"Don't lie to me," she snapped, saliva dripping from the corners of her mouth, "Don't think I wouldn't guess. I am not stupid, mutt, I know how to pick on things. The birds and creatures would not be quiet if they did not see impending doom. So out with it! And I can tell when you're lying, it's written all over your face!" Katsew's emerald eyes blazed maliciously as a snarl curled her upper lip.
Katsew's stance changed; her legs tensed and her tail began to flick at random moments, as if swatting a fly. Her jaw was set to a violent snarl and her head was lowered to her shoulders, her throat no longer exposed. Katsew was a fighter, and she would threaten this wolf with her battle like stance, her hackles bristeling some what, until he told what he was trying to cover up, or fled with his tail between his measly legs.
"Go on," she snarled in a low voice, "Tell me, or fight me. It's your choice. Live - or die - or fight and die anyway... Or flee, like the small wolf you are... Come on. I've given you a choice. Not many get a choice. So go on... Do continue." |

| - :P Waytt watched her become angered, he stepped back, as she yelled at him. Waytt told himself, Why are you running! Show her that you not what she thinks! Your father did not teach you for nothing! Waytt think! He looked at Katsew, he knew she was in a bad mood, but the last thing he wanted was to get in a tangle with an angry alpha. He thought for a moment....The animals, He told himself. He heard her say it before, that was one reason they could be so quiet, they could sence she was angered. Waytt, heard the last of her remarks. "I'm not going to lie to you, but if you simply do not belive me, then so be it."
Waytt was nervous about his other half returning, but he was in danger, and he need it. His lips curled back in a snal matching her own tone. His own siliva dripped continually(sp) from his maw. His auds flatened against his crania, as his hackles rose straight up, looking like his coat was spiked.(sp geeze can't spell) He pulled his head back some, to make it harder to get to his throat, "I will not say I'm a spy, because I'm not! Just because you think I'm liying does not mean I am. The animals are most likey quiet because they senced your anger today." Waytt's orbs widened a bit, as he snarled louder. Something troubled her, but he could not point it. He was not going to make the first move he waited, for her.

| -Don't mean I am. Katsew barked angrily at the wolf's foolishness at her words. Her heavy paw lifted off the ground and struck out at Waytt, aiming a warning swipe at his ears.
"I KNOW YOU ARE NOT A SPY," Katsew roared, her anger having been pushed to the limit, "YOU ARE LYING ABOUT SOMETHING IN YOUR HISTORY! THE ANIMALS WOULD NOT BE QUIET, THEY KNOW MY WRATH IS SOMETHING TO BE FEARED, BUT NOT SOMETHING TO BE SILENT ABOUT! IT IS YOU THAT THEY ARE QUIET ABOUT, AND NOTHING OF WHICH YOU HAVE TOLD ME ADDS UP TO IT! YOU HAVE ANGERED ME, AND LIED!" her tone was loud, but after a small pause, Katsew continued, her voice a deadly whisper, "Now you shall fight."
With a massive push from her hind legs, Katsew expelled herself forward, mouth open to its fullest extend, aiming for the throat of her opponent. Her muscled legs spread out in a long grabbing way, blunt claws at an vertical angle so that if they hit they would catch the flesh and give Katsew a better advantage. Although her jaws was open, her tounge poised for the onslaught of blood Katsew was expecting, Katsew kept her head quite close her chest, she did not want to leave her throat exposed. |

| - :P Waytt froze for a moment as she came towards him, his mind yelled MOVE! He quickly came to his sences, and moved out of the way, her claws brushed his tail, making him move quicker. He quickly turned around heart racing, he'd not done this in a long time. Thoughts raced frantically through his mind, Will I fail, and be left to die? Before more thoughts clustered his mind, he turned back to the fea. "If you know I'm no spy then why fight?"
He growled more, and lunged at her, aming for her vonerable side. His quickness, abled him to get to her faster. As he lunged for her belly, his paw, with his talons reached out for her back hip, if they cought her, it would hopfully slow her down. He'd no clue he would end up fighting, trying to become a member of a pack, but it now came to him, if he was going to live here, he had to change. He might not seem like what he said he was at this moment, but given time, that would all change.
