Sword searching, ..ok first topic open..don't kill me...

Jaycee had her hiking gear on and had started climbing up the fridged cold moutian in hopes to find the sword she had heard so much about, of course they had all been rumors but she was one who thought a lot of things were real. "...So....Cold....Very.....High.....Why....." Her teeth had just started chattering from the cold even with her warm gear it still wasn't enough for her but she didn't care so she had kept moving and was going very slowy and looking around often since what she was looking for could have been just about anywhere."..Why must it be so hard to look for one sword...But it has been said not even to be real...I hope I didn't come here for nothing...No I Know Its here...even if there is alot of place to cover...." Jaycee had looked up and saw the mountains just go up to the sky almost as if it was actualy touching the sky. "..........I have a long way to go..."

Gad looked at the sword again. He couldn't stop looking at it. For whatever reason, it kept screaming at him to take it from the rock it was embedded in. He could feel it. It was like a voice inside his head willing him to step forward and take it. The pain grew every day, but he knew that no-one must take this sword. Ever. He could sense someone approaching...
Were they coming to claim the sword for the power of good or evil?
If it was evil, they had to be stopped. If good... Well, how much longer they would be in control of the sword, rather than the sword being in control of them, he didn't know. They would have to be amazingly strong emotionally, and also physically, to keep control of the sword.
Someone who could fight selflessly. Someone who would have the strength to destroy the sword if it was necessary. The type of person who could defeat him. That's why he was protecting it. Well, he was protecting whoever wanted it, really.

He shivered again, and went back into the cave, where a fire burned, and his food awaited him. The cold seemed to creep right through his many layers of cloaks and through the thick leather gloves and boots he was wearing. He looked back. At the entrance to the cave, the sword stood. It required the cold, just like it required the coldhearted to wield it. He kept his eye on it.

Jaycee was just climbing up the mountain and was even more cold due to the fact along the ling of climing but the steep moutain she had a large cut where her stomach was."So much for all the layers and the material being Uber strong under any circumstances." She looked up again and saw a cave, "Finally, a place to rest." She started climbing again and was starting to get even more tired than she was before, it started getting worst from the fact of the cold. She had finally reached the cave and gripped the egdes and pulled herself up and made a slight disgruntled sound as she pulled herself up and has saw the sword right in front of her, "......Wow....its....real.....I KNEW IT!." She couldn't help but dance a bit and she tripped and fell over the side and quickly gripped the egde and started to pull herself up and pulled herself back up and just fell over from complete exaustion but she quickly got up when she noticed the fire and a person sitting by it.

Gad watched the proceedings with a raised eyebrow. This person didn't really look much of a threat. They looked more like they needed help... Either physical or psychological, they needed something. He coughed.

"Weren't planning on taking that, were you? You don't look strong enough for it, to me. Now. You have three options. One, you leave and never come back, telling no-one of what you've seen here. Two, you stay here and help me guard this thing. Three, you go through me to get it. Choose carefully."

("You take the blue pill, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, You stay in Wonderland, and I show you just how deep the rabbit hole goes" )

He fingered his longsword with his left hand, convinced he wouldn't need the other one. One advantage he had in battle was being left handed. It made parrying his strikes very difficult to a right handed person.

Jaycee saw the guy and got her stance back and just took in deep breaths from the fact of how tiring that climb was but she wasn't about to cave in from her lack of physical strength and she just waved, "...Ok...I'm not weak...never underestimate my power..and....Actualy, I mostly wanted to see if it was true, I beleive in a lot of things and sword collecting and hunting is one thing I do. I mostly get them all to make sure they never get into the wrong hands so...Well one, i'm not a enemy and two....HI! I'm Dayanara Jaycee Foxx...but everyone calls me Jaycee. Who might you be?. " She just smiled and looked at her stomach where her clothing was ripped and saw a large jagged cut, but she just ignored it and looked back at the other person and just stood up taller and took another deep breath while being sure not to lose eye contact with the other person while she was waiting for answers.

Gad faltered. "I... Uhm..." Who was this, anyway? Crazy person! He certainly hadn't expected to have a friendly chat with her. Maybe she was just stalling for time. He frowned, unsure what to make of it. Then he relaxed and sighed, still eying her, suspiciously. "I-- Whatever. No point fighting someone as injured as that. Do you have medical equipment or what? I have a few bandages if you need them." He didn't take his eyes off her, but she was clearly injured. He doubted how long she was going to remain conscious, let alone her fighting ability in that state. This was somewhat of a letdown. But then, what had he been expecting? Whoever got here would have had to climb a great distance. It wasn't like they'd actually manage to defeat him after an exertion like that.

He didn't know what to do. If he moved closer, she could attack him. But if he didn't she could faint from bloodloss and cold. He half stepped forward in indecision.

Jaycee just continued to look the mysterious person in the eye, "Well, I'll be fine....but I still dont know your name. It would be nice to call you something other than the word I was thinking of." Jaycee just smiled," Well until you answer I'll just be over here." She walked to the area where the sword was and started to look it over and sat down and pulls out a black book that was filled with drawings and information of swords and she had gone to a new page and started drawing,obviously ignoring her wound, and was admiering the sword and continued drawing and writing.

Gad frowned. He wasn't giving his name out until he knew more about this person. She acted like she owned the place. He didn't really have any way of stopping her. What was she? Not human... At least not fully- especially with a wound like that. And if she climbed up here, what were the wings for? (Assuming she has wings and a tail like the drawing)

He didn't know whether to be concerned or worried. And there is more of a difference between the two than it sounds. He resigns himself to sitting down on a rock, and watching her, wearily. Not the fighter he'd been expecting. Or the Evil genius, or band of troops from a faraway land... just... this person. Weird person. Not human, seemingly not effected by the wound on her midriff. He clears his throat.

"There's food in here if you need it. And you really should dress that wound." He sighs, keeping a hand on his short sword.

Jaycee looked at him,"...Still no name...well...ok then...and so you know..i'm not one who uses these swords for evil..I mostly just research if I can't have it..and I ussualy just make sure they stay safe and all that...but since you like here...although I'm sure it gets lonely up here...I know about the rumors i've heard but I would think you would grab it and just hold it somewhere else...Ya know..and sorry about me talking so much heh and yeah I should clean up my wound but I can't help my natrual nature for the magics of swords and other things around." Jaycee just stopped taking and pulled off her back pack while she was tring to stiffle he teeth from chattering more and more and while she was trying to stay awake. She just finished up her notes and set the book to the side and started to treat her wounds.

Gad leaves off watching as she sits down inside the cave, a short distance from the sword. He couldn't imagine her attempting to steal it at this point. He eyes the notes, wondering just how many swords were recorded in there, and how many of those she owned herself. He turned his attention to the sword, and then the floor.

"Gad." He muttered, quietly.

[Jaycee]

Jaycee had looked up and smiled," Gad? Cool. Also I saw you eyed my notes.If you want you can look at them if you want." She just went back to her wound and finished wrapping it and walked back over and picked up the book and handed it to him," Heh nice to know your name. So why are you up here anyway."

He never spoke to people. Never. He looked up at her and then slowly took the book, flicking through, and grunting occasionally, as he noticed swords he'd heard of.
He spoke as he looked, muttering in a low voice. "I'm searching for something. I thought this sword would be it, but I found out about it. It's only trouble." He paused, wondering whether he should mention the voices or not.
Suddenly, he stopped on one of the pages, frowning and looking at it more closely. Then, he drew his longsword, and compared the hilt design.

"Where did you find this one? Do you own it, currently?" He asks, trying not to sound too excited.

Jaycee looked over at the drawing,"Ohhhh, that one...that one was also to be in this area....and I've heard rumors about this sword about how it can temp people into getting its powers....by any chance...have you heard anything like that....and you not very social are you."

His face fell slightly as he found that she didn't own it, but at least it was in the area somewhere. He raised his eyebrows at the mention of the temptation thing.
"Right. The voices." He muttered. "Well, we can't let that sword get into anyone's hands. How do we guard it without taking it, though?" He sighed, handing her the book back. "I was searching for that sword, but I found this one. And now I'm stuck guarding it. I'm convinced it would take over the wielder instantly, so I can't touch it, but how can I move from here and ensure it's safety?" He surprised himself with the sudden burst of speech, but he soon convinced himself it was just down to the fact that she was obviously an expert on these things. After all, he needed advice, didn't he?

Jaycee just put the book away,"..Yeeahh....Insanity...Maybe for you...But this was one reason I came so that this sword wouldn't take anyone by death from watching it....." Jaycee walked closer to the sword and looked at it more. "As soon as I can get it out of that rock we can both go and look for the one your looking for...It'll be more climbing but it'll be worth it when we find that sword."
