Fate frowned. That wasn't the kind of thing she was used to. We are as humans to the Watcher... She paused. Humans can't find their way into our realm, why should we be able to find our way into the Watcher's realm?

Destiny headed towards the building. It was an old temple. Someone had made the breach here, possibly by trying to do magic on a massive scale... And they had succeeded. No, that couldn't be right... She'd be able to sense whoever it was that had done it, but there was no-one there that could have... At least, she didn't think so. She looked in the pouch on her utility belt. There was a necklace, a dagger with several different coloured jewels to fit into the handle, several rings of varying kinds, a crown and a blood stained glove. It wasn't what you'd expect, looking at the small pouch from the outside, but Fate had a way with things that looked bigger on the inside than on the outside. The items were all useful things to leave somewhere and change the course of history, although Destiny had always found them a little too cliche. Fate had told her that that's what people wanted: something that was simple and easy to understand. Something where the rules were already laid out about what to do with them. Someone owns a crown and a shiny sword, he's the heir to the throne, someone has a glove matching the one found near the body, he's the murderer. Destiny hated it, but Fate was right. People did think like that, and it worked every time.

She took the dagger out and looked at it. Perhaps not. People here obviously didn't fight with conventional weapons. Perhaps she should just slip inside and see what was happening.

[ALostMemorie]

"Well, it has to be different. Humans don't believe us as existing beings. But we know that the Watcher exists. It has to be different, right?"

[DC]

"Thats not overally true Chance, some people believe in what we do so thus they somewhat believe in us." Dream sat down and began wondering about the situation.

"Where is Destiny? She is the closest thing to the human world out of all of us, maybe it would be wise to set this task to her?"

[ALostMemorie]

"The task of speaking to the Watcher? I'd rather speak to her face to face, what about yourself?"

Fate shook her head. The entire reason we need to exist is because humans believe in us. They personify us. Why else do we take a human appearance? She sat back in her chair. Destiny cannot be trusted not to let emotion get in the way of her tasks. I can't allow her to take such an important mission.

[ALostMemorie]

"Exactly," Chance said happy there was an excuse that Destiny could not be put on the mission. It was in her opinion that they themselves should speak to the Watcher. No silly 'missions' or any of that business.
"We should go ourselves. I'm sure the Watcher would be expecting us."

[chibirockstar]

Fate nodded. If that is so, then I'm sure the Watcher will provide a path to our destination for us. So let's wait.

[ALostMemorie]

"Where is Destiny anway," Chance asked curiously as they waited

In her room Said Fate. She frowned. Destiny was becoming less and less reliable. Soon she'd have to go.

[DC]

Dream sighed, shunned out of the way by the two people who are exact opposites, it never made sense. "I have no interest in meeting the Watcher I'll keep an eye on things whilst you two are busy and I can make sure Destiny doesn't do anything."

Destiny looked around. It looked like the temple was set up in such a way that the Sun would shine into the most useful room at any one time of day. It was an ancient layout designed to make the most of the Sun and Moon and waste less firewood. She smiled. The disadvantage of the system meant that she knew exactly where the people would be and where they wouldn't be.
