Description: The World Assembly

DEPLORES that World Assembly member states would use nuclear weapons against one another,

IS SEIZED of the necessity of defending itself from threats external to World Assembly member states,

I meant to post this before I set to my work this past weekend and forgot.

I could never support this, even if the intent is to block further regulation.

I'm hard-pressed to recall a resolution much more despicable than this one. I was actively considering telegramming smaller WA nations in XKI and urging them to resign, lest they find themselves defenseless against much larger aggressor nations in the WA (just to punish XKI's Delegate for being stupid enough to prop this up with her 800+ votes), but it doesn't look like that will be necessary. Thank God.

edit: also, 820 votes?! I remember when Minineenee's 650 were causing havoc in the old days, but I don't recall a single delegate being quite this powerful before. Do any of you?

I don't either, but I never followed delegate counts all that closely, except when I was trying a stealth campaign in Lazarus, but even that was only 250 or so, I think.

This resolution is so badly written that it even fails to be funny.

Territory?

So I can nuke all their people in international waters at will?

So I can nuke a dirty bomb upwind of their nation at will?

So I can explode an EMP device above their territory at will?

Does a Stone Burner count as a nuclear weapon? I mean it's nuclear powered but ...

Is there a way to use NSHistory to find out how many endorsements a region delegate had from week to week? I've been trying to remember if Erastide or Minineenee ever had as many endos as XKI has right now.

Alas, no. However, if we ever get all the WA/UN votes in there, there will be. We did a manual scan. The best Minineenee ever got was 648 on 20050723. The best Erastide ever got was 0, based off WA votes anyway. We hear she was Former English Colony and the best they ever got was 494 on 20060130.

There are/were several other Delegates with more over the years. For example, our buddy Nastic had 825 on 20030503.
