OK, so in case you haven't already figured it out, this is the region's newspaper, created so you guys can publish funny articles about events in your nation for our amusement. But it's not just news articles: it's also news releases, editorials, commentary, (if you have artistic talent) editorial cartoons, news conferences, and newscasts from your country. How can one newspaper do all this, you ask? Well it's all very simple: it's because this is a MAGIC newspaper that can also broadcast news footage. Yeah, that's right. Shut up. If you have a "newsy" item from your nation that is not related to other roleplay on this forum, feel free to post it here. If it pertains to an existing thread on this forum, please post there, and if it pertains to an item already posted here, please post there. And if it's not a "news item," post it in Roleplaying. Bah. Just do what you want, and I'll keep moving, splitting and merging threads as usual. You guys suck! I hate you all!

The Gnomish Warbands will be taking the "totally volentary collections" from their regionmates while they patrol the hinterlands looking for WA policy gnomes. "Its a good situation for us. We make our patrols and collect the money for President Fernanda. He keeps up on speed-dial for just this kind of situation. Hell, he even lets us keep a percentage of the take for our troubles. We were able to buy some swell trebuchets the last time.", Thain Thadbroxton Kornweasel said to a reporter. But what if the nations visited don't feel like contributing, how will the warbands handle the situation. "Sometimes a few object lesions are needed.", the Thain sadly acknowlaged. "All you really need to do is turn somebody's testicles into a speed bag, or sick our War Ferrets on them, and you'ld be surprised on how fast people capitulate." Regionmates should expect visits in the near future.
