He'd actually started to say "bigger knockers", but it turned into a Spoonerism and he bailed.

Oy. Reminds me of the DC official who used the word "niggardly" and the swarm of outrage from morons and tools.

All I'm going to say is "the WHAT?"

“We know the candidate Barack Obama, what he was like. The anti-war government nig…America was a source for division around the world, that what we were doing was wrong.”

First of all, we all know it cannot be what the media thinks it is because it makes no sense whatsoever. There ain't no such thing as an "anti-war goverment N....."

Moreover it doesn't make sense in the context, which describes thoughts. It's hard to put a label in the middle of descriptions. It sounds like he messed up badly the word "thing."

"Niggles"would make a kind of sense. "The anti-war government niggles" ... like he was too ineffective to have an anti-war government challenge, but just made the occasional anti-war government niggle ... as soon as I finish here, I'm off to interpret the intestines of some random dove, and then I'll divine the future from the flight of crows. One for sorrow, two for mirth, three for a wedding, four for a birth ...

But niggle is a word in UK English, not USA English. Rick doesn't strike me as one who would go into Brit-Speak.

But will he wear a knitted vest and an ascott AT THE SAME TIME?

Heh, well, since we won't soon have Rick Santorum to kick around anymore, we may have to abandon this overgrown thread soon and start a clean General Election topic. It might be worth finding out first whether Gary Johnson or others will appear on the ballot in November, however. I'll let our Unofficial Elections Discussion Coordinator (Felix) make the final call. hg%2520%2823%29.gif
