Title: Return to the Repealing Game?
Description: Security Council Edition!

I'm getting sort of bored, guys. I still spend a lot of time on NS each day, despite what my low post count, etc, says. There's only so much maintenance required on NSwiki every so often, and I'd like to get back into the legislating game.

As you all know, back in UN times I went after smaller, weaker resolutions and bullied them around. I figured I can do the same with commendations and condemnations. I know we all don't like how much time the organization wastes on these useless pieces of crap, but the way I see it, the only really worthwhile thing we can do in the SC is to repeal them and have permanent legislation on the books repudiating most of what the SC has done in its history.

I'd have an easy (and fun) time drafting repeals to:

Condemn Macedon
Commend Kandarin
Condemn Nazi Europe
Commend 10000 Islands

Also known as "80% of the resolutions the SC has passed." Though passing the repeals will be a different story.

This would be a project of mine, to be completed over a few months. Right now, I don't plan on submitting anything for another few weeks or so.

Thoughts?

Should we spend 20 days voting on pointless gameplay trivia that we've already spent 20 days voting on?

No.

I'd rather not see a barrage of SC-related stuff right now, even if it is repeals. Maybe get the repeals ready but hold off on them until we hit one of those stretches where there isn't anything at quorum?

In the meantime, surely there's something in the GA that could stand repealing?

That dratted labor law could take a hike. :P

Not to mention that horrific stem-cells resolution. <_<

Sorry, Jey, but I have to agree with my colleagues here. The SC has made its decisions, so it's no use wasting the WA's time with reruns of those pointless, inane "debates."

I've sort of backed off of my desire to repeal WALRA. I just wanted to repeal it out of spite and right now I'm not feeling quite as spiteful.

This. ^^

That last poxy Educmacation res could stand a tip, and so could this nonesense Nucular distaster business if it passes, both are just shopping list scribble.
