This is the simple version of our rules

Rules:

Spamming
Ban Time: 5 hours to 2 day.
Please do NOT spam. Spamming is a two word post or sensless post that means nothing. You probably will not be banned for spamming A FEW times. Spamming is creating a ton of threads as well, please keep all questions in one thread. Also, do not post more than once in a row, this is one of the worst things to do as it clogs our board and also annoys the users. Spamming is ONLY allowed IF no one has posted in a topic for 10+ days to revive the topic.

Bashing/Flaming
Ban Time: 1 day to 5 days.
Please do not bash other users. Bashing is posting hate topics or insulting another user. Bashing is a 24 hour ban. Flaming is insulting a user as well, but in a more obscure way, this results in a one week ban.

Off Topic
Ban Time: Nothing to a few hours.
When posting try to keep on subject, We wouldn't want to hear "Dragonballz is coming on!" in a poll about which Inuyasha character is better would we?

Circumventing a Ban
Ban Time: 3 days added to ban time.
If you log onto Anime Gladiators Message board and receive a message that you have been banned, please submit an unban request to lordsesshomaru88@yahoo.com and wait for a moderator/admin to unban you, we will send you an email telling you that you are unbanned. It is not acceptable to return to the Message board under another username. If you do, your ban will be extended another 3 days.

Accessing Another User's Account
Ban time: 2 weeks. (14 days)
You are not allowed to impersonate another user or create an account for the purpose of making other users mad. Also accessing or using someone else's account or attempting to access another user's account is strictly forbidden and will result in a 2 week (14 day) ban, or will be permanently banned.

Posting pornographic material
Ban Time: Permanent. IP Ban.
DO NOT post anything above a PG13 level, you will be permanently IP banned and may have your IP sent to authorities.

Warez / Cracks / Romz / File Sharing
Ban Time: Nothing, post is edited.
Please do not post any p2p file sharing program, link to a site containing roms or illegal files, or any other matter of illegallity dealing with U.S. laws.

Also, please abide read over Invisionfree's TOS. These files listed below may NOT be discussed on the forum!

Unacceptable Forum Content
We allow Free speech, however, there are some exceptions and restrictions on the types of forums we will not host. We will absolutely not host any website forum that contains, links to, promotes, provides instructions on the following topics:

- Warez / Piracy / Hacking / Viruses, or illegal mp3's
- Adult or obscene material
- Illegal Drugs / Terrorism
- Derogatory/Slanderous/Racial/Explicit Material
- Sharing of passwords / Serial Numbers /
- Invasion on privacy / Impersonation of others
- Spam / MLM
- Harassment
- Illegal Conduct of Any Sort

Rules:

Moderation
AG is a moderated forum. However, the moderators cannot be everywhere and see everything. If you see something that is against the Board Rules, please report it to the Contact Administrators thread. Note that the Administrators have the final say-so in any situation that you report to the Contact Administrators thread.

Also, you may PM a moderator for help.

* What Is A Moderator?
Moderators are volunteers who generously give their time to help board users with questions about our sites and boards. They also are the peacekeepers and are here to ensure that all visitors enjoy their stay. This means enforcing the Board Rules and User Agreement.
* What Do Moderators Do?
Moderators monitor board posts and respond to complaints to keep posting free of undesirable content as described in the Board Rules. They enforce the board rules, and can delete posts, edit posts as well as remove any user's ability to visit the boards. If a moderator lets you know you are close to crossing the line, take heed of the warning. Likewise, if your thread was deleted or locked by a moderator, do not repost or unlock the topic. They deserve respect and appreciation for their time.
* Bans
If you log onto the AG message boards and receive a message that you have been banned, please submit an unban request and wait for an AG Board Moderator to get in touch with you. Bans are private matters between the Moderators and person banned and will not be discussed publicly or through third parties. It is not acceptable to return to the boards under another username. If you do, your ban time may be extended.
* What If I Disagree With A Moderator?
Moderators are not perfect and are only human. Disagreements occur. Try to communicate with them first on a respectful level and settle your disagreement. They are not targets for your obscenities, flames or general insults. If you do not agree with a decision, you are not entitled to start a thread arguing about the verdict or flaming any of the moderators. Any such messages will be removed. This extends to Private Messages and unban requests as well, and you are not entitled to insult moderators via either of these methods. Also note that bans are between the user banned and the moderator issueing the ban, and moderators cannot respond about bans publicly. Any correspondence about ban length and reason will be handled through unban requests.
If you feel a verdict is unfair, please contact me the Webmaster or an Admin.

Copyrighted Material
AG users agree not to post any material that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner(s) of said copyright, trademark or other proprietary right. This includes but is not limited to magazine, book and newspaper scans, television broadcasts and copyrighted photos and pictures.

Flaming, Bashing, and Trolling
Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated on the AG Forum. Treat others on these message boards as you would expect them to treat you. Talking trash about another user or posting topics specifically to provoke a negative response from an individual, a group or an entire community is not acceptable on the AG Forums. These posts will be deleted and may result in having the privilege of posting on the boards revoked.
Board bashing is also not allowed on the AG Boards. If another board is not your favorite, there's no need to complain about it. Simply refrain from visiting it. Board bashing posts will be deleted.

Profanity
Cursing is now allowed in all forums, so long as one does not allow themselves to get carried away or use cursing to flame and troll others. If you are found to be speaking out of turn, you will be first warned informally. If this occurs, you need only adjust accordingly, as it is not a punishment so much as a reminder that we don’t approve of swearing in extreme excess. We also ask that you limit your usage of terms such as “faggot” or “gay.” Though these are usually used today to call something/someone stupid rather than refer to someone as a literal homosexual, they can be offensive to some. Keep in mind that we care nothing for your religious view on homosexuality, and this will not be treated as an acceptable avenue of debate on the issue. Racial epithets, however, are not and will never be tolerated. Any use of racial slurs will be punished severely, with a ban likely.

Spam
Purposely spamming a message board with senseless, vacuous, or empty messages to gain more stars is highly frowned upon! This includes such things as party posts, chain letters, two-word "I agree" or "me too" responses, continually posting the same topic on a particular board, and posting the same question across several boards.
On a similar note, participating in spam attacks on the AG Boards or planning a spam attack on the AG Boards or any other Website is unacceptable, and these actions will be reported to your ISP.

Piracy, ROMs, and Warez
AG has a very strict policy against piracy, ROMs, warez, and the illegal use of copyrighted material. Linking or giving information about any site that distributes illegal software, ROMs, media, or emulators, seeking help to circumvent any copyright laws, admitting to possessing and/or distributing illegal copyrighted material, or encouraging software or media piracy is grounds for an immediate ban. It is also unacceptable to post first-hand impressions, reviews or screenshots of known pirated material. This goes for all copyrighted material, including but not limited to games, movies, music and television broadcasts.

Impersonating Other Users / Accessing Another User's Account
You may not impersonate another board member or create an account specifically for the purpose of provoking other users. Also, accessing or using someone else's account or attempting to access another poster's account is strictly prohibited. If you engage in this type of behavior, you will be barred from the boards permanently.

Off-Topic Posts
Okay, so you probably won't get banned for an off-topic post, but c'mon, try to post suitable subjects on each of the appropriate boards.

Posting Huge Images / Signature Pics
Out of respect for your modem brethren, please let them know if your thread contains a number of large images. A simple **56kers Beware!** in the subject line will go a long way in helping those who are broadband-challenged know not to open a thread that might bring their web browsing to a crawl. Also, if you must use signature pictures, please limit it to one 15k or less image since huge pictures slow down the boards for everyone.

Explicit Content
Images of explicit nature (Pornography, hentai, ecchi) are not allowed on the AG boards. This includes anything that we deem PG13 and above, which includes nudity of any kind, partial showing of nudity, any fetishes that are deemed inappropriate, and any other just plain disturbing image. Any images of such nature will be deleted and the user posting them will recieve a warning. If you disagree about the image, please contact the official that gave you the warning. But please abide by the fact that a Moderators decision is final, and you are not given the right to simply change that fact.


Also note that the Board Rules extend to all areas of the AG Boards system, including but not limited to Private Messages, Signatures, and Unban Requests. This also includes asking for or offering anything against the Board Rules via Private Messages.
