Solstice stared contently out the window of her dorm room, having successfully put up every single poster she'd ever bought, and never been able to use, because of the bus. Her side of the room had a poster for every band she'd ever toured with, all signed, and a few she'd gotten for presents from her dad and his bandmates. Her small twin bed had a quilt Grandma Way had made for her, made up of pieces of Gerard's old clothes, and even some of Solstice's from when she was a baby. Scattered over the pieces of cloth were silk-screened versions of her own paintings, and her fathers. In the center, was the most recent My Chemical Romance album cover, that of a small girl held tightly in the arms of her dead father, his skin peeling away from his bones at every place where his skin touched his daughter's.
Grandma Donna had made this quilt for BamBam's seventeenth birthday, which was six months past, and she'd yet to use it on a real bed.
Sighing, Solstice turned away from the window, and flopping down on the bed. Since school had started, she had been ignoring all of her school work, everything, except art, because art was what tied her to My Chemical Romance, and since she wasn't with them anymore, she didn't care about anything else. It wasn't like she'd choosen to go to high school, she'd fucking enjoyed being on the road.
It was all Stacy's fault, if her mom hadn't have said anything, Ari would still be on tour, and she wouldn't being getting abused.
