know the story is long over due, and I am sorry to say that I haven’t had time to work on it, but as a hold over, I made this the other day with the superhero Generator (you know, instead of finishing work or studying for exams! Lol. ) I figure we have you to see a snow leopard sphinx, so, here we go!
He name is Sarah and she lives in Nunavut for its weather. She joined the Canadian armed forces when she turned twenty and loves every minuet of her subzero work in the Canadian arctic! She is seen here in her uniform and equipped with her M-38 assault rifle, ready to defend the arctic, or stop any black market traders. smile.gif

Hmmm, not bad. But how did she get to Canada? Was she adopted by Canadian parents and is thus a naturalised citizen? I like the idea, even thou you didn´t catch the colour pattern of a snow leo very well. Her tail is way, WAY to skinny. Here, look at these photos of real snow leos for reference:user posted imageuser posted imageuser posted image
As you can see these guys have a thick, almost bushy tail with a distinctive pattern. Keep it up! I like your fresh ideas that you throw in to extend the AP-universe!

Ok, cool.
The program I used to make her was rather basic, the color pallet was minimal, and I don’t think they have spots on it….*checks* well, they kind of do….I will get a black and whit skinned version of her then go at her with the chainsaw that is Photoshop tongue.gif although, I supose with her clothes you wouldent really be able to see most of the pattern, closer to the leg is more solid....that still leaves the tail though.....

Give it a try. I´m sure it will look cool. Also I would like to know a little more about this character and her BG.

Well, here she is, the Photoshop Job is Meh, and the colors are taken right from the sample pics you gave me.
Oh kaaayy….the back story.

Born in the genetics lab on a remote mountain facility somewhere in Serbia, Sarah was bread for any possibility of wintertime or arctic warfare.
Master of killing, the ability to blend in with any snow surroundings, capable of taking bullets with little more then a grimace and some pain, able to survive in subzero conditions, the perfect arctic solder.
But the war never came…
What a waist of talent.
In her early years, she lived on a military base, along with many of her fellow sphinxes, but once the operation was admitted to the general public, and the Christmas law is passed she is put up for adoption, there is not much interest in her for some odd reason. Then, once the law is passed that gives her rights all over the world, a young Canadian couple travel to Germany in hopes of adopting a sphinx, when it is heard that they live in Nunavut, the orphanage director immediately directs them to two year old Sarah. It is basically love at first sight, she is overjoyed that she now has a family and somewhere cold to live. She enjoyed her life there, although she seemed to be one of only five sphinxes around.
At age twenty She joined the Canadian armed forces and has enjoyed he Job ever since.
Basic I know, but I think It works...

All right!
I gave it a try and drew Sarah. And I think she turned out pretty well! She is actually the first Snow leopard Sphinx I ever drew. Since no explicid rank was given in her description I decidet to give her the rank of a Sergeant. It was quite hard to find decent reference material for a dress uniform of the canadian army (even with the allmighty google photo search), so I hope I got the colours and the insignias right (I drew them sans the british crown, because in this time canada is an independent federal republic). The rifle green of the beret and the coat is pretty much to the point but I´m still a bit unsure about the linden green of the shirt.

Well, I think it is uncommon to salute with the left hand ;-)
But Sarah looks cute, I would love to cuddle her!

Ah, durn it, now that you mention it... You always salute with the right hand!
She really is cuddly, you can´t see it because of the uniform but she looks a bit chubby because of her thick fur.

I don’t know to much about the Military, So I couldn’t tell you for sure, but I think the uniform looks something like this

…But I am not sure, but I think it is a really dark Navy blue like that one, other than that though, I think it looks great.
