A funny thing happened on the way to the big reveal about AMC's Kendall having slept with Aidan: Somewhere along the line, we fell - hard! - for the Brit and Greenlee! In all honesty, when RB reclaimed the role, we expected - and even anticipated - that Greenlee would go back to her Ryan-lovin' ways. And while that's still possible once she is revealed as the last to know when her man's unfortunate method of grieving comes to light, the scnees in which Greens set up a seduction scenario right out of Dashiell Hammett reminded us of just how much potential this pairing truly has.
Now, AMC's real GL is back. The pint sized schemer whose warped logic makes sense only to herself? That's the one who re-emerged to beg for Aidan's forgiveness. "Aidan, I'm so sorry for what happened the last time that we were here - when you proposed to me, " she entreated. "I know I hurt you and if I could take it all back and start that evening over again, I would." And that's exactly what she did! Having restaged Aidan's candlelight picnic on the beach, Greenlee wasn't only dressed to thrill but primed for a do-over. "This is what I've been doing my whole life. I chase after people - people who keep running away from me," she admitted, adding that she knew Aidan was different. But the Brit was quck to wipe the pleased-with-herself look off Greenlee's face with an epiphany of his own. She hadn't changed at all...now she was chasing him! Out of love, he walked away. And we couldn't have been more stunned.
