Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new section!

Remember- KOKOL exists as it's own continuity from the game proper. Obviously, it's based on Kingdom of Loathing... that's no surprise. But we do things our own way sometimes.

As you know, we've got a separate section for actual stories, either in continuity or out of continuity. We're adding to that with this section. As mentioned in the title, it's a good spot to gather AIL references to both KOL - the actual game- and other games who have influenced AIL!

As a general strong rule, I prefer that, OTHER than KOL itself, we try not to use IP from other games, and use parody instead. So instead of Hyrule from the Legend of Zelda, I parodied it with Adrule. Likewise, Honorburg serves as a parody of the City of Heroes MMORPG.

I'd like to have a section for anything that's referenced- more than in passing- and collect it in one spot. So Adrule will likely get it's own post, and Honorburg will get a separate post...

I'd also like to do the same for anything relating to the KOL game! Having touched on various parts of the actual game in AIL, it would be too easy to post entirely different takes on the same location. Hopefully, this will keep that to a minimum.

If we can get these pages developed enough, we can transfer what we know to the AIL wiki.

Aside from gathering references found in AIL's history so far, I'd ask that whenever possible, you include a link and description of when it was confirmed in AIL. If it wasn't lore (like if you're adding information), make sure that's clear. In general, if there's a conflict, whatever happens in AIL proper should be considered lore for ours.
