Crossover: Vixen vrs. Catrina!
(subtitle) Poor Dash, stuck in the middle

This one basically gets things rolling, as Vixen sneaks up on Dash, still sour about the fact she thought she'd 'won' last mission only to have Riko hand Dash the victory! Dash gets her to be a bit less sour, and she vows to win the next mission.. then they set out for Dash's camp..

Where Catrina promptly gets jealous! the rp ends with Catrina and Vixen brawling around Dash's campground with Dash ducking it out inside of his tent.. Of course, there's more interesting details than that, but you'll have to read the rp for that

CO WRITE with Blah!

Hi, everyone! I see the board's .. let's be honest, dead right now, despite the huge influx of new members. That's okay. I'll write up a 'new user's guide' to hopefully kick start things! The story summery for the co-write? Blahking's hiding out in a bar in South Degrassi, where they met for the first time in AIL history way back when. Dash convinces Blahking his mind needs to be in the game (hopefully to set up a solo Blahking roleplay this mission), and the two get to talking business.

Sorry the notes are so long, but there is a lot to cover!

We establish TWO things either side can be a part of! The first one is a bit smaller. "An intelligent hybrid yeti" is supposed to be raising trouble in South Degrassi. Besides being the helpful thing to do for the citizens, Dash plans to deal with it and bring proof of his victory to the Council in an attempt to impress them at the meeting (Which'll be written in the Finale.) The victory will ALSO serve as a warning KOKOL means business when it comes to the Knob Goblins and Penguin Mafia, both of whom still have their claws very deeply in both Degrassi Knoll and South Degrassi.. although not every citizen there is necessarily aware of those connections.

The OTHER event? Blahking is going to try to organize a big public event! Think a bit of a carnival, organized as a 'charity event.' It's primarily about raising our clan's spirit and bringing KOKOL closer together. Blahking and Dash have NOT gotten word on the new clan at this point! This ties into the fact that there are three contests- one for drink mixing, one for cooking, and a best eating/ drinking contest which will hopefully satisfy the 'muscle' guild. IF AIL'ers come up with additional ideas for the carnival, we can add them in, too. This carnival will take place not long before the official meeting, so I'll use both it and the meeting in the Finale, probably!

There are opportunities aplenty, depending on what side you're on. KOKOL'ers could sign up to host an event, or be a part of one. Winking Judge members could crash the party, either to join a contest and try to win it on behalf of their guild, and therefore attract the attention of the guild leaders- or just to sabatoge the event for KOKOL. Expect retribution if you do the latter.

Or you could head down to 'help' - or try to outdo- Dash with the yeti problem. I'll establish his personality in my next roleplay.. *Grins* Kmail me or PM me if you got questions or ideas of either of these.. remember, the actual KOKOL event probably won't be starting until late in roleplay period (after the deadline is announced), or during the Mission Finale itself. So if you want to take part, use your roleplays to find out about it, handle any related or unrelated manners, and start preparing!

Next up was a VERY quick, to the point introduction of Zanther_Wolf and Becky Joy!! How exciting! The two are going to end up taking part in the Impress for Success mission.. read it to get a decent ‘first feel’ for the two. They split up at the end which, if all goes to plan, will involve us each doing a co write on our own and, time permitting, at least one more co write.

Becky heads to Seaside Town while Wolf was out hunting some food for him- then gathering some goodies to bring to Becky Joy!

Just some quick notes: for the last two RP's.

Shamus, and Inu, left the council chamber, and decided to do the easier of the two missions: the meat car mission. After trying to ask some bugbears how to make a meat car, and being beaten half to death, Shamus woke up in the sleazy black ally. He then almost got killed by hobos, and eaten by spiders. Before being force-fed goofballs.

After waking, (And, somehow Inuya finding out how to make a meat car.) he tried to get some rims, with his other Familiar: the bulky buddy box, "Useless". After a very helpful Market Demon, which Shamus didn't listen to. He got a trinket, traded it, and found out Inuya had already gotten some rims. After a brief anger fit, he met an old friend- Who proceeded to beat him half to death. After sorting things out; Shamus, and Inuya, drove to the competition.

Hmmm, I probably could have used fewer words for that.

I kept waiting on Guacanator to post his notes here, but since it's a simple rp, I'll sum his up.. heh.. in the roleplay before my Becky Joy short, Gua decides to take the meat car mission, rides down to the Gnome Camp, and gets someone to help him build his meat car.. which still has to be finished. THIS RP is notable because it adds in some very creative depth of history on the Gnomes and on Guacanator... Fleshes out their culture a little.

THEN.. MY RP is just.. a short Becky Joy piece! She talks to a guard and finds out about the upcoming Clan carnival! Sweet news, isn't it?

Ugh... sorry I couldn't post, I was otherwise enganged.

I would like to add something to what Sebastian said.

After his old friend, Gnowland, (yes, I know its a lame name) helped him build his meatcar, the duo realizes that the technology of the apparatus is so advanced it cannot run on a regular meat stack - It requires a HYPERDENSE meat stack, something that exists only in concept in the leading laboratories. However, if anyone knows how to make one of these items, it would be Bruce, a champion meat smith. Who also happens to be a Turtle Tamer. Who happens to spend all his time in The Brotherhood of Smackdown. Which happens to be behind enemy lines. Which happens to be very, very, bad at this time.

Notes on "Impress for Success (Dash): Meetings I: Dash's POV"


Another short Dash piece.. sorry it took so long.. We could really use some activity in AIL right now!

That aside.. it's a pretty simple piece. I start off showing Dash side by side with a mysterious Katherine.. then I backtrack. Read the rp to get a strong inclination as to what Dash's been up to.. the most significant bit after the opening, is the closing..

Moving in the black of night, Dash runs into another figure! Turns out to be a her.. No surprise, it's the girl from the beginning of the rp.. They nearly fight in the darkness- but a well timed shaft of moonlight allows the two to indentify each other.

I plan to do another rp soon- it'll be HER point of view, and maybe even reveal a bit about her.. she's only a NPC by the way..

[The Guacanator]

Guacanator has but one task left before his meatcar is finished - but it is the most challenging of all tasks. Guacanator goes deep behind enemy lines to find a meat smith talented enough to make a hyper dense meat stack. After some ingenious subterfuge, Guac finds his meatsmith, and obtains his meat stack. Of course, Bruce, the meatsmith, won't let Guac leave without a friendly tussel - as per muscle-class tradition. Of course, Bruce apparently does not know the meaning of "friendly," as Guac finds himself pinned to the ground and slowly asphyxiating. In desperation, and on pure instinct, Guac blows his cover and sends out a wave of sauce to knock back Bruce. Gunther, the leader of the muscle class, sends Guac running, and declares, "This means war." If the situation seemed bad, it will only get worse, as the Kingdom is on the verge of having its main guilds in a bloody, all-out conflict. Either that, or they'll all enter a cake-baking contest and have some scones and warm tea.

Nice setup for the finale, Gua!

For my rp.. "Uncomfy silence.." we learn a little bit more about Katherine Swift and her history with Sebastian.. then we get to the point where they bump in the middle of the night... each comes to the conclusion that, given they got the same supposed 'intel' from some Knob teens, they're probably walking into a trap...

Which neither seem to have a problem with- but I'll save THAT one for my next rp! Anyone interested in doing a co write with me set in South Degrassi?

I had plans to do more.. but I wanted this rp to 'fit' with Becky's cameo in his upcoming roleplay- so you get this.. Becky wondering around Seaside Town, interacting with the locals, then hearing a mysterious voice.. who she starts to respond to- when she's intererupted by seeing Zanther Wolf coming at her with berries.. which causes Becky to totally forget about the mysterious voice.. for now..

More in wolf's rp and hopefully another Becky rp.. was fun to write!

We got a monster of a roleplay to report on here.

Sorry to say, it took a while to finally get it finished, but it's worth the wait. It goes back to pick up directly after the last roleplay with Catrina and Vixen still fighting. It is quickly broken up by the arrival of two new characters, however.

Todd Blackpaws and Lapine showed up. Todd, being the only male there, tried flirting with both Cat and Vixen, even though Lapine announced herself as his girlfriend. Go figure. Oh- and it turns out, Lapine and Vixen are ex girlfriends.

Vixen reveals she's gay to Catrina, cutting off Catrina's assumption Vixen had been hitting on Dash.

Dash walks out eventually, after some flirting and backstory on the Vixen/ Lapine breakup. He and Vixen talk about the missions.. here it gets important, so pay up.

After Vixen, Lapine and Todd all decide to go on the Meat Car mission (Which by the way, means we can set a deadline.. you got til September 12, 2009 to get your roleplays up! Then I am FINALLY going to start writing a Finale for this cursed mission.

Sorry, it's not the month I promised, but hey- it's plenty of time if you really wanna get more up. I know I do!

OH!- Soo.. Catrina is going on the mission with Dash! Pretty cool huh? More next time, more next time!

[Zanther Wolf]

Wolf was brining the berries to Shelly, when a couple of ninjas stole them.. he chased them and squared off against the head demon,was beaten down but somehow transformed into a new form.. beating down the demon with those weird ice abilities.. when he returned to Becky, she was scared and confused. This is the beginning of Zanther's journeys.

This one starts off with a very sad Becky Joy, who's got the Bulky Buddy Box discarded by Shamus. We'll find out she's obviously sad over Wolf going with that stranger girl, Shelly.. and Becky found the Box in the sewers and saved it!.

After some amusing interaction with the box, Becky bumps into Lapine! Lapine is quick to listen to Becky's troubles with Wolf, and quicker with a hug to help!

It cheers Becky up! They talk about the upcoming carnival and trade ideas. They decide on a kissing booth, but Lapine then remembers she'd promised to help Vixen and Todd Blackpaws build a meatcar, so it's up to Becky this time around!

Oh- and we introduced a new fashion store named "The Zone." Where Lapine is shopping for clothes when Becky shows up!

I got most of a Dash/ Catrina co write done with Cat. We should have it up by the official deadline.

VERY tired so hopefully I won't miss any important notes.. since rp'ing is all but over, this's more for legacy anyway.

Ahem. Kath and Dash are wondering in South Degrassi still seeking the rumors of the so called talking yeti. They find - and quickly dispatch- 3 penguins.. actually, the last one is finished off by what seems to be a talking Yeti.. Dash and Katherine engage it in battle for a while, but it seems to get the better of them.

Cut to an interlude of Catrina arriving on the scene! She dispatches a few Knobs as she makes her way to the fight.

Unfortunately, Kath and Cat mistake each other for enemies and start fighting. Luckily, they're able to quickly figure things out, and team up against the Yeti as most of the Knobs just stand around watching.

Despite being 3 on 1, it's almost more than a match for them.. but they figure out.. someone else is doing the talking.

The fight ends with Jester King of Beasts roaring on the scene, in a dramatic egotistical fashion.. it leaves a red ball in Catrina's mouth, leaving her in a fettish suit which I'll let Cat describe herself..

This is expected to be a DIRECT lead in to the finale, since voting is to be done tomorrow - as in Sunday September 13th, 2009..

Thank you to all who roleplayed. Sorry this went on like, four times as long as a normally too long mission.. But maybe we can get back on track now?
