Sorry it's not up yet, but it's my goal to get my writing speed in gear, gearing up for next month's NaNoWriMo. I've got more information on what NaNo and AIL are at that link.

So my goal is essentially to turn next month's Rollover into my NaNoWriMo.

Normally, the Rollover is as short as I can make it, while still being a quality piece. However, the challenge of National Novel Writing Month is to turn out a 50,000 word story in November.

So, in a way it might not be word for word my best quality stuff. In fact, I plan to have parts explicitly marked as 'filler.' Much needed for survival in a cold, unforgiving NaNo world.

To put this into perspective, Chrono Dragon (our second ever official mission) had one of- probably the- longest Finales AIL's seen.. This Rollover will require around two and a half times the word count due to it being a nano. Minimum. I'll probably aim to be nearly finished by the 50,000 word count. Then it'll take a week or two of editing before I feel comfortable posting.

This will require something extra special. So after talking to Catrina, I'm going to go ahead and consider the current mission the Season 1 finale! I don't want to give too much away, but I intend for Rollover to cover everything from the moment this Finale ends, to months later, when the new mission, whatever it ends up being, is set.

We have some huge secret plans to shake things up.

Of course, I'd love to hear from any and all AIL writers or potential writers on where you'd like to see your characters during these few months of AIL time. I am planning to hit everyone who's listed as active in AIL, assuming they've roleplayed at least once. It means obviously I'll have to take more creative liberty than usual, so if you have a vision of your character, please send me it via PM on the board, or an in-game k-mail!

Any ideas for story developments for the next few months of AIL gametime? K-mail me it, too.

Otherwise, and maybe even if you do PM/ k-mail me, I'll use your character as I see fit- keeping it true to the character but still giving them something to do- hopefully something interesting/ relating to the big story.

So that's my plan! I wanna get the four parts of the Finale up as soon as I can, then I can start drafting ideas for my NaNo- next month's Rollover. That means we'll be kicking off Season 2 in a totally huge way.

Hm........ I think I'll need a while to edit, plus I'll TRY to write up a Rollover summery so you're not swimming through the rather large Rollover.. I hope everyone is okay with this!
