Subplot Five: If You Hadn't (But You Did)
Tami Williamson Sylvia Davies Alonzo Delphi
Tami Williamson and Sylvia Davies were room mates back in their Broadway days, before either of them was famous or in the educational field. They parted ways after Tami married and Sylvia began to focus on her career, but their friendship was entirely renewed after the death of Tami’s husband. Sylvia was the person who helped Tami come out of her shell a little bit after his death. Eventually Sylvia brought Tami in to be a dance instructor at Addison.
Tami still had problems dating men and accepting the fact that there could be love after an ended marriage, so Sylvia once again took it upon herself to help Tami. She brought in Alonzo Delphi to be the football coach and general choreographer/production manager for all of the University’s productions. Alonzo is also a ballroom dancing expert, which means that he and Tami will co-teach one class together. Sylvia thought that she had the perfect solution to fixing Tami’s wounded heart, but then she ruined her perfect plan. Tami fell for Alonzo, just as planned, but Sylvia found herself a little bit in love with him as well. Now Sylvia has to decide whether to tell Tami that she also likes Alonzo, or if she should allow Tami to remain unaware of her emotions. And which one of them will Alonzo choose?
