I have spent much time an research, extensive research, trying to figure out what the 10 greatest movies of all time are. It was a long an extensive process, wading throught he many candidates to come up with a few select films with which to try and narrow down further. However I beleive I have done it. This is the definitive list, the list tht is the master of all lists. Read it and revell in it's glory. Yes I am being arrogant about the list. It is so great that it is beyiond question... seriously... watch these films... if you're over 18...
1. Monty Python and the Holy Grail 2. The Original Star Wars Trilogy 3. The Indiana Jones Trilogy 4. Mallrats 5. Back to the Future Trilogy 6. Clerks 7. Monty Python and the Life of Brian 8. Escape From New York 9. Big Trouble In Little China 10. Groundhog Day |

I just added the 18 as there are 18 rated movies in there. Also you can't really appreciate a couple until you are around 15 or 16 or 17.

Yes that is true, and come to think of it I haven't watched Big Trouble in Little China in some time. I must find it and watch it.

I own that list on DVD. Also, Big Trouble In Little China? You have to see that movie. John Carpenter and Kurt Russell. Great team.

'Tis too bad Boondock Saints didn't make the list. That was a very good movie in my opinion.

There is only a finite amount of space. I love a lot more films then just those on this list. However these are the top ten out of all the movies I love. These are the ultimate top ten.

it's a good list but I would like to have seen one of the greatest trilogies of all time added--- the Lord of the Rings

Yeah, I think Godfather would make a good number 11, and then theirs the Alien trilogy for number 12. Not the stupid Rez movie or Alien vs Predator, but the original 3.

this list isn't up for question. Also the lord of the rings? A great set of movies but the three trilogies I have in the list are so much better the the lord of the rings it's untrue. Also there is only one return and it ain't of the king it's of the jedi. Thank you.
