The classes for the day were finally over, to Emaline Acker's pleasure. Teacher's just had to drone on and on, didn't they? Couldn't they try and make the classes exciting? One would think that classes in a magic school would be thrilling and captivating but no! They were just as boring as ones in the muggle school that Emay had attended had been. Oh... School truly was a horrid place for students. However, people did say that school was the best time of their lives. So, what was it? Torture by boredom or the time of your life? Why did people have to be so roundabout? Emay thought about this as she stalked through the Fat Lady's portrait and into the Gryffindor Common room. She made her way to one of the couches and threw her book bag upon it and then sat down upon it, putting her boot-covered feet up and leaning against one of the arms, making it impossible for anybody else to sit on the red velvet couch. It was Emay's couch, actually. At least, Emay thought of it that way and so did many other people in the house, primarily because they didn't want to get on the girl's bad side. When she was headed towards it and it was occupied, people tended to skedaddle.

Why was Emay in such a bad mood? Well, it was rather simple. Well, perhaps not but in her mind it was simple. She had gotten upset about something and thus it ruined her mood. What was that thing that had upset her? Well... That tale would take some time to recount. First, she had woken up late and had been unable to eat any breakfast before first class, which had caused her to search for something in her schoolbag. She had found a sucking candy and promptly had started to suck on it. And then she started to feel extremly feverish and she realized that she ate one of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes (George had carried it on in his brother's memory) infamous Searing Suckers. She ended up in the Hospital Wing and drink a vile potion to get her temperature down.

By the time she was back down to normal, her second class had only just begun and as she had Divination, a class she knew she really should have dropped, she was told by the professor that she would face a terrible confrontation within the next few hours. Everybody in the room knew that Emay would have an argument later for there was hardly a single day when Emay didn't argue with a certain Beowulf Malloren so that prophecy had most definitely come true. It had occurred during her last class, Potions, when she had been teamed up with the arrogant prick to make a potion and he had managed to mess it up. Well... Perhaps she had also added to it, but she would never admit to that. Everything that went wrong was most obviously Malloren's fault.

She ended up scalding her hand and had headed, yet again, to the Hospital Wing. The mediwitch had jested about giving Emay her own bed with a plaque. Emaline had not been amused. Nor had she been amused by the bandage currently applied to her wrist. This was all that pompous arses jerk's falt! Yet she was the one with the wound and he didn't even have a scratch! Augh! It was so infuriating! [i]He[/u] was so infuriating.

Em closed her eyes and tried to clear her head of thoughts of the most upsetting student at Hogwarts and instead tried to think of... Well, she couldn't think of anything except that bastard. She opened her eyes and glanced around the room, her eyes looking yet she was not truly seeing. Her mind refused to move from thoughts of that jerk. Perhaps it was telling her to go yell at him some more...

Victoire had sat impatiently through through History. She had no idea why she did this class, or why anyone bothered to even show up. It was boring, just lik eth teacher was. Seriously, when your teacher drones on in a low tone of voice, who wouldn't want to go to sleep? By the time it was time to leave, Victoire was almost asleep. No wonder she nearly failed this class. Not that no one could blame her. If it wasn't for Emay who manages to stay awake durig this class, Victoire wouldn't even be able to pass. Thank goodness for friends. Victoire couldn't even remember the last time she took notes for this class. A few years ago maybe. All she knew was that it had been a long time ago.

It was a friday, of all days. Why couldn't they just not give them homework? Not that the whole class had gotten homework, just her. But it still wasn't fair. Victoire was just asking the page number because she had been listening. Who gives homework because of that? Appartenly the mean strict teachers do. Well then again, she wasn't just asking the page number, just carrying on a small conversation, just a tinsy-weinsy one. And the bam! Homework. A full page of the line: 'I never ever interuppt others while they are teaching or learning in class.' Very lame. Victoire could think of better things to write about. But no, the boring teachers think of lame things to write.

So in her fury, Victoire unhappily carried her books back to her dorms. Maybe she needed to talk less during class so she could actually learn something. Victoire thought about for awhile until she almost ran smack into the Fat Lady's Portrait. Victoire said the password and walked through door that had swung open for her. She was alomost done with that full page so she could more than likely just finish it Sunday tomorrow was a Hogsmeade day.

Victoire hurried up the stairs to put up her books, and she quickly came back down. Then she noticed Emay on the velvet couch near the fire. "Hey, Emay," Victoire said she sat down in the chair next Emay. "How was your day?"

Emaline looked up as she heard the portrait-entrance open. Perhaps someone interesting was coming her way to cheer her up after her oh so horrible day. Luckily for her, it was someone who she loved and cared about and the half-Veela was almost always able to cheer her up. But as she looked at her, Emay saw something that led her to believe that Victoire was upset and so she did what she always did. Put her friend's irritations first and hers became just a hindrance.

She saw Victoire pass and then come back down and then the blond spoke. "Hey," Emay responded to her friends words as the aforementioned friend took a seat beside her. Then she just shrugged, "oh... You know. Just the oh so average day at Hogwarts. Nothing to it. What about you?" She looked at her friends face, investigation for a few moments. "You got into some trouble, didn't you?"

With Victoire, it was always one thing or another that got her into trouble. But generally, it was a certain thing called being unable to pay attention. The girl had a generous dosing of Attention Deficit Disorder but because that was a muggle thing, it didn't 'exist' at Hogwarts. At least, they pretended that it didn't. But Victoire most definitely had some sort of ADD. Or ADHD. Maybe a bit of both...

"oh... You know. Just the oh so average day at Hogwarts. Nothing to it. What about you? You got into some trouble, didn't you?"

Victoire shook her head before actually answering. "Yeah, I got into some trouble. It was Muggle Studies. Suprise." Victoire said sarcastically. She would probably still fume about it for thirty minutes, and then move onto something else. She never actually stays mad for long. That might be why she isn't moody alot. "As of now, I need to drop that class. But I can't figure a good solid reason. It's either between the strict, but lame teacher or the lame subject that he teaches. Seriously, I have to write a full page of 'I'll never, ever interuppt others while they are teaching or learning in class.' As far as I am concerned, that's rather lame. And I could think of better things to write about."

Victoire felt better know having got that off her chest. It was really something to be mad about. A full page of lameness and hand cramps from writing, which at this point, Victoire still had. It was all very, very, very boring. Victoire sighed. "If you want to know, I was assigned the homework because I got caught talking to a girl nexto me. I was just asking what page number we were on and maybe a small conversation as well." Victoire added.

Then she noticed Emay's hand. "Hey, what happened to your hand?" Victoire asked, her voice full of concern.

The auburn-haired girl rolled her eyes. "Victoire, why are you even in that class? We're sixth years now! You need not torture yourself by staying in any class that you have no desire to be in! Just drop it," Emay said nonchalantly and in an totally uncharacteristic manner. But hey, she felt like dropping Divination so why shouldn't Victoire be able to drop Muggle Studies, a class which Emay, thankfully, did not need to talk because she grew up in the muggle world. If she were forced to stay in that boring class, she too would probably open her mouth once or twice and end up with lines. Ugh... Whoever invented that dreaded punishment ought to rot in hell. But then again, they probably already were.

"Huh?" Emay asked in response to Victoire's question and then glanced down at her hand. "Oh, this. A certain clumsy male Malloren decided to pour a cauldron of potion all over me. Nice of him, wasn't it? God! He's such an ass!" As she said those words, the sixth year turned bright red. She hardly ever complained if she could help it and the words had just slipped out. Well, it felt good to get the words out at the very least. Even if it were damn embarrassing.

"Victoire, why are you even in that class? We're sixth years now! You need not torture yourself by staying in any class that you have no desire to be in! Just drop it,"

Victoire nodded. "You're right, Emay. I do need to drop that class. Besides, I could learn all I need to about muggles from my grandfather." Victoire said. Besides her grandfather found muggle fascinating, so he would know a loot about them. That's what she should have done to begin with, drop it. Lines were boring, that class was boring, the teacher was defiantly boring. Yeah, Victoire should drop that class before she ended up with detention..........again.

"Huh? Oh, this. A certain clumsy male Malloren decided to pour a cauldron of potion all over me. Nice of him, wasn't it? God! He's such an ass!"

Victoire couldn't help herself. It was funny, and so she started to giggle. She knew full well Emay loathed Beowolf. She could tell it everytime they all go to Hogsmeade. The hate in her eyes. Plain as day on her face. And then when Emay's face turned bright red after letting some words slip, Victoire laughed. "Emay, you should really think of finding another partner for potions, or atleast talk to the teacher. Maybe that could solve a problem, and keep you from going to the hopitalwing."
