Faith Madison. She was only human and she had something to say here to today. She wanted to loose control and she wanted to break. Usually this kind of behavior from her was unheard of from her but she had felt a change take over her body. In truth, Faith wanted to crawl and she just wanted to loose it all. Seeing him….tame…at the cemetery had sent a shock wave to her heart and she knew that she loved him with everything she had in her heart. All this time, she had thought her purpose was to protect the innocents of the world but she had died. She had fulfilled her destiny with her sisters and now that they were still dead and in the ground with her left all alone – a new idea swam through her body. Maybe she wasn’t supposed to save Viktor from himself? Maybe she was supposed to let him fall from grace! Maybe she was supposed to fall with him!

As the thought of turning evil, soared through her head – she felt slightly enticed. She was only human and the idea of corruption was something that many people struggled with everyday. Now. It was her time to fall from grace and it would be with the one that she loved with all her heart. Thinking about it once more, making sure she understood everything that she would be getting herself, Micah, popped into her mind. Frowning at leaving him to fend for himself, she only knew it was mandatory. He could protect himself and with all honesty, he was niether good or evil either. Maybe....just maybe this was how they were to fix the future and she wasn't about to turn away from this.

Heading into a darkened alley, Faith knew from her past experience with him that this would be the easiest way to get him to come to her. Brushing her hair from her face, her thin legs carried her further into the darkness as a faint smile appeared on her face. She knew that he was probably watching her and if she called out to him and reasoned....Viktor would accept her. "Viktor?" she spoke with a trembling voice. "Viktor.....I know your here somewhere...I need to talk to you." Faith said in a whisper as her eyes darted all over the alley. "Please...." her words collided with the cold air. "Come to me."

There was a terrible coldness that filled the alley then, a stray breeze so icy cold that there was no doubt that there was supernatural work at hand --no other explanation could be possible. Even on the coldest day in San Fran, with the sun blotted out in the way that it was, the air didn't get as startlingly frigid, and the scent wasn't as.. alluring. Almost on cue, the ominous essence weighing heavily in the air, a dark outline slowly came to shape, contrasting eerily with the shadows that came natural to the darkened alleys. Within moments, all that remained was an almost too familiar figure, his brilliantly colored eyes staring piercingly over at the one who'd called his name, as if to summon the devil himself to offer her sustenance, to quell the unyielding desires that she so fittingly had. It was uncanny how symmetrical the situation always was with meeting such as these. Almost routine.

So she needed to talk? How quaint, that she would call on him, only to exchange words that seemed to have no meaning to him any longer. From every vowel to their consonant counterparts, words just seemed to lose essence as he regained himself, restored to his long lost splendor. Given new life, reborn into a shell of his prior existence, though not without perks to appease him. Staring up at the sky now, his lips pulled back to bare the corners of his teeth, Viktor concentrated on the shimmering barrier that kept them all caged in this wretched city, with decaying structures and the mentally incompetent animals that were kept out. He stared out now, himself restored, at the devastation he so remembered.

"What is it you want from me." he asked crudely, his gaze still fixated on the clouds that hung in the air. Tilting his head to the side, he narrowed them in concentration, and then fascination. Was what he was seeing plausible? Perhaps he would test it later, when he wasn't being called on. His head uprighted itself, and just as fluidly his eyes fell into place, staring at the woman he knew only a Faith, the history between them only paining him momentarily. "Why do you summon the devil to your doorstep," his eyes searching hers for a plausible explanation. "Are you 'simple', or is there mere dementia frolicking in your head." All his words statements, observations for what he foresaw as purpose for calling him.

Staring upon his pale features there was a calmness that only she would be able to make out. Viktor was in his his element and when that was the case, then he was no stopping him. That is when she had to remind herself that she wasn't here to try to change him. They had both been down that road before and it was too lonely for her try it again. Then again? When did it become her responsibility to talk sense into people? She had lived once already and fulfilled her prophecy. It had put her into a deep slumber at first and the second time it killed her. Faith Madison wasn't supposed to be here anymore but her love for this one man is what brought her back. Her legacy didn't give a damn about her to save her in her quest for salvation, so why should she give a damn about them? Those were her thoughts exactly and she didn't think anyone could sway her anymore.

Watching his lips pull back over his teeth, she noted how her breath came to her in deep bursts. Something about this kind of calmed her and she remembered how she actually liked messing with him. It gave her some sort of power of knowing that she could force him to feel something - or more importantly...anything. Following his gaze up to the barrier that held them hostage in, California, she wondered if he had a plan or something to escape. He was brilliant. People didn't give him half the credit that he deserved and she was sure that he was somehow planning to change this.

"Well aren't you the nicest kid on the block?" she asked with a daring underlying tone to her pleasant voice. Usually, he would have made her skittish but she felt a new 'her' pulsing through her veins. "I summon thy devil because he has tempted him a familiar temptress." she spoke with a slightly flirtatious brow lifting as she walked a few steps forward. Her boots clicked the ground and she knew he might be slightly surprised to see her act this way. Honestly, the Faith that he was used to seeing was quite and reserved. Never liked a thing out of place and if something didn't go her way she would speak her peace and let it be. Not anymore. She wanted to be the girl that he wanted her to be. For them to be together because she simply wanted to run with devil...that was her game plan. "If you catch my drift that is?" she asked as her flirtatious stare moved into a more curious one. "Now tell...Viktor...do I look like I have dementia? My mind is perfectly intact and I've been doing some thinking that might make you happy in more then one way." she spoke with a rigidness playing on her features. "Now do you get where I'm coming from?"

It was like tempting fate, that both Faith and himself should be in this place together, alone and without any witnesses. And more tragically, it was dangerous, not for her, but for him. Though he didn't worry so much about what she could throw at him --that alone was quite the wallop-- but more on the passive side of things, things that weren't tangible but more touchless. But touched, all the same. The breeze had died when he stared at her, though the climate remained steadily cold and getting more so by the passing seconds. He didn't doubt it would eventually freeze if he remained here for more than a few minutes, maybe even snow in just the alleyway and nowhere else. His aura, he knew well enough, was like being around death, surrounded not merely by corpses, but to be buried and locked away in a crypt. Cemented for all eternity, trapped and gagging --it was like clawing at the light.

He looked back at the barrier again, taking random notes in the recesses of his mind for later use, while never looking away from the site of Faith. He hadn't even inhaled a breath yet, finding it lacking in reason. The display was merely for show, he'd remembered. It'd made him appear that much more human amongst the sheep that roamed the every day roads of life. It wasn't necessary for him, though he would remember to do it when around less.. intrusive individuals. No point in losing any more traits that they so appreciated. He let out some air then, so better ease the tension that ran in the air.

"You should cut to the chase," he summed up rather curtly, halfway cutting into her words. Time was pressing, though he didn't think he needed to remind her. But then her mood changed entirely as she explained just a portion of her plan. So she wanted to lure him into this situation, where as her boot clicked closer and closer towards him, she was that much closer to death. "Tempting, Faith," his words sounding cold, yet appreciative at the same time. He watched her even more closely, backing himself against the wall, and manifesting himself out of another shadow and further away. "But you are far between insanity and outright incompetence right now. What use do I have for you exactly, with the exception of the occasional plaything, hm?" His lips pulled back momentarily, considering yet another plan for later use and looking back up at the barrier, before returning his attention to her. It was his turn to walk towards her, his steps soundless as if walking on air itself. Now he extended his arms out and placing one palm against the wall, and the other placed against her cheek and throat --holding her hostage. Viktor wanted her to be absolutely aware that she'd just forfeited her life in summoning him here. More importantly, it let his eyes absorb her own, grayish-blue contrasting against dark brown. Now his voice was low, only a mere whisper but enough for only her to hear. "What.. are you doing to yourself, Faith?"

Even though the cold air pushed it's way onto her warm skin, Faith didn't lose her cool. She knew what she was doing here today and no one would make her sway. This was her decision and she planned to not worry about the outside influences of others. Steadying herself as the August air hit her face with such an intensity, you figured she would be used to it by now. Living and dying, you experienced cold and you learned to deal with it. Dying hadn't been the easiest thing to cope with but something in her longed to see this world fall - just like her family. If they were to be the worlds greatest witches then how come they all died so easily. It was like plucking the wings of a butterfly and watching it die. It was cruel because they each fell in love with something here on the earth but Faith experienced that emotion the strongest out of all the sisters. She had found love with the man of her dreams and they were almost together forever - then it was ripped from her quicker then she could tell him goodbye. She thought about their relationship and maybe if she wouldn't have disappeared into some lifeless barge, she would have saved, Viktor, from himself but that was still all unknown.

Seeing him breathe, Faith forced a smile but one that let herself know not to take this meeting too lightly. She had seen the power and death that followed the legacy of Kane around and it sometimes unnerved her. Though dealing with Micah, she learned that the power could be controlled and used to your advantage - if you so willed. That was why her love was taking it upon himself to send this world into a spiraling hellfire but what did she care? As long as she was him, everything would be ok. Faith wasn't like some scared witch who had been bewitched to follow the dark flame...instead she choose with every ounce of free-will in her body to walk into the darkness and she wasn't scared.

"All work and no play, made Viktor a dull boy." she spoke with a faint laugh as if she was mocking him. "That was never the Viktor I remembered. He was always up for a little fun." she spoke as she watched him carefully as he backed himself against the wall and disappeared into the shadows. Faith smirked and quickly turned around and saw him appear from another."I take offense to that. I'm not crazy nor am I stupid," she said with an appalled look floating onto her beautiful features. Faith wasn't crazy and to be completely honest, she was saner then anyone else in, San Fran. It also irked her slightly that he labeled her as incompetent! What the hell was his deal anyways and how was he able to jump into conclusions like that? "I've come to offer you my hand because I've been doing something thinking. This world has taken almost everything from me and I can honestly say that I want to see it stay in ruins itself. It's stole my family, my legacy, and most importantly..." she stopped herself as he walked forth to her and brought one hand to the wall behind her and the other laid on her throat. "You." she spoke as he words flowed though her lips with a smile. Bringing her hand up towards his, she gripped it was such a softness. "Now this is where I stand. I'm not going to live my second life with regrets nor without you, Mr. Kane. I could be you plaything or I could be something more. I'm not doing anything to myself, I'm simply living." she spoke in hushed tone to mimic his. A smile played on her face and it was apparent that she had truth to her words. She wasn't here to make people happy - unless it was Viktor himself. "What do you think, love? Am I making sense?"

Viktor could only gaze into her eyes and find an awkward resolve lingering within them. It wasn't absolute, for only a small margin of anything could be absolute. But it was there, and it called to him to expand upon. But hadn't there been a problem with that in the past? Had he not already tried, almost willed it within himself to believe in false promises. To believe in something other than true devastation. Having faith within Faith --for there was no other need to believe in anything else at the time. It was testing destiny itself now, he realized, to try to include himself into her prophecy. A prophecy that was long dead now, forgotten like the many lives he'd lived without knowledge of the past. He was a much more.. naive individual at the time, having no recall of what had happened over the countless millenia of his existence. And it was an existence better left unspoken of. But what if he was going about it the wrong way entirely? What if, it wasn't her prophecy that they were destined, but within his that they were meant for. Could it be, that it was she was supposed to join him, to give herself up to him entirely without restraint. For the deer to make herself the color of midnight..

..to choose to follow the wolf into the darkness. He had come to witness the tragedy of the Madison Prophecy firsthand. Viktor had a front seat to the powers that were, and the extent to which they were palpable when it came to failure --it was the equivalent of running lives through a recycling process. And if there was only one other that was so intricately knowledgeable by that fact, and she was staring back at him, right now with a face so pristine it could make the angels cry for mercy. Viktor somehow managed to look back at the barrier in the midst of his thoughts, before looking back at her. He let out another slow breath soothingly past his lips, the scent of carnage and bloodlust. It was often comparable to the aroma of cherries.

He cracked a grin. "And death and loss," the irony in the order his words came wasn't entirely lose on him. "has made Faith rather ill in the head." This time, his words were more pleasant, filled with a hint of amusement. Had she any firm knowledge of the real Viktor, to make such allegations? His hand slid from her throat, and entwined itself into her hair which seemed to flow around his fingers more than anything. "It's kind of sick, I hope you realize." All the while, the grin lingered, now morphing into a smirk as his eyes remained piercing into her own. It was a bit morbid, the things she was asking of him now, a path into the darkness for which returning was hardly an option. And walking it with one such as Viktor made the decision absolute. Once you go Kane, you're never the same. He withdrew his hand from her the locks of her glorious hair and held it, palm up, between their faces. "Then give me your hand, Ms. Madison, and we'll bring the world into the state of Hell that it deserves. We'll leave it irreparable --broken, blind and searching-- with all hope lost. All punishment for dismissing Faith." There was a slight glow to his eyes, the glorious future flashing momentarily in front of him. "With a family reconstituted." Viktor pulled back the arm barring her other side, giving her the chance to escape, unscathed, if she so chose now. A sign of trust, perhaps, in the final moments of her decision. He stepped back, hand still kept suspended, and gave distance to his silent offer at escape. "I will be the source of your resolve, if you will be but the queen of mine." His voice was calm. Viktor looked down now, away from her eyes so that she could make her decision without the effect of his gaze. "And together, like the sun and the moon, we'll bring the world an eclipse."

Watching Viktor's eyes glimmer with understanding, Faith knew that he was thinking about something important. Was he doubting her wish or was he simply thinking about how faulty his own resolve had been? More and likely, it was both. She had always been a little good girl and never thought once about becoming a demon of the night. She had vanquished thousands of Vik's kind and she never showed any regrets. When she first met the man of her dreams, she couldn't pull herself together. For sure, Faith knew that there was a feeling that fluttered in her stomach and she didn't know what she was feeling. According to her younger sister, Hayley, it was her first crush. Hah. Faith had to laugh at that thought because at one time in her life, she had thought she had been in love. It wasn't the strongest love one could wish for but what could you expect from an arranged marriage to another blue blood? Exactly. Back in her day, women were looked to as property and went off to the highest bidder, which wasn't morally correct but to some it was. How sad! Still when she had met Viktor Kane for the first time, Hayley tried to convince her that he was her soul mate and Faith had to laugh. There was no way a demon could be her future and not until months later did she ever regret those words.

Evidently Viktor had noticed that to and he tried being a better man. Still to shake off many years of sinful decadence, was hard and simply impossible for him - apparently. Faith however, still loved him and the fact that some higher power thought they could play god, only fueled her decision here today. She knew that if Viktor had asked her to steal - she would with a smile. If he asked her to fight another being - she would do it without hesitation. Even if he asked her to murder - she would simply nod and get the job done with satisfaction. She was changing in the inside and would she ever care? Hell NO. Taking a breath as her thin lips pursed at the corners, she couldn't help but almost swoon in his prescence. He was her dark knight and she was his elusive maiden, the perfect pair for destruction.

Grinning at his comment on death and loss, Faith couldn't help but nodding her head in agreement. "Well now that you have put it that way....I guess you have me all figured out." she spoke with such a softness to her voice. "Then again? Maybe I got my illness from you." she added and gave an elusive shrug of her shoulders. There was always a possiblity of his love driving her crazy and if love wasn't the issue here, it could be the factor that Vik sometimes gave the impression that he was crazy himself. Then again, maybe they were both sane and everyone else was crazy? That was always a possibility, right? Returning her attention towards him as he slowly moved his hand from her throat to her hair, she smiled a toothy grin. "Sick? I think it's perfectly logical if you ask me." she said as she brought her hands to his shoulder and pulled him closer towards her. Entwining her fingers to keep him from running, she quickly examined his hardened face and still noticed that she wasn't afriad of him like she used to be. Hah. Wasn't that funny? Feeling Viktor try and pull away as if giving her one more chance to leave, she couldn't even dare think it. She was here and here was where she was going to stay. "Then I guess you have your Queen." she spoke as she leaned in and gave him kiss on his somewhat moistened lips. It had been ages since they had last laid upon his and it reminded her of their good times together. "We are going to rock more then just his world to ruins...." she seethed as she bit her tongue as if restraining herself. "I want to be at your side at every moment. I want to feel as one and I want nothing more to please you." she spoke as she brought her hand to his cheek as she leaned her head against his.

There was a faint, almost steady humming in his ear as he continued to just bask in the presence of Faith, in the same manner she was basking in his aura. This, he did not doubt, was polluting her mind and causing her to find the small voice within her that called for a little reckless destruction. Only, the voice was much louder now, exposure to him more lethal than any poison known to man. It was within his mind, over the countless lives he'd lived.. only now restored to him. But the humming was what had caught his attention now, though his eyes remained on her, watching carefully every movement she made. But only his sight remained on her. The others were off finding the source of the wretched repetition that resonated in the background. It disturbed his peace, the only peace in his mind that he could so readily feel right now. And this nuisance would not last, could not remain to ruin the solitude that he felt. It was the senses of hearing and touch that detected the dastardly origin. And his eyes narrowed at the discovery even further. The barrier, he thought to himself, returning his eyes to their fascinated expression by Faith's presence so as to prevent any unnecessary commotion concerning the contraption. Its end was already in the making, continuing to be worked over in his beautiful mind.

Even in the process of thinking, there always was a part of him that never drew away from the present, the reality of the world he was in. His current fixation now was the woman standing before him now, who with such flawlessness kept a part of him pleased --even if it was an ignorant bliss. It was enough to quell his soul's search, the very prospect, the concept of him possessing such a thing now still baffling him. Had he really infused himself with a soul those countless millenia ago? Or had it been some ruse, he often wondered now, to force a soul into him. But regardless, he'd come out better than he'd started, and he knew it deep down. He was stronger, more thoroughly decisive. It gave him a reason to fight on, a purpose and momentum to follow through. He'd left his old, passive ways for a more active one. But more importantly.. it'd made Viktor something he didn't believe he could be.

    Human.

And in the long run, that made him more dangerous than before. Much more. "I suppose insanity does come with the territory," he nodded, a smile on his features once more as he heard the gentle stream of her words. "The world does seem to support it to a rather.. astonishing degree." Viktor chuckled at this, finding it ironic that his insane visions of the state of the world slight matched it now. Though, he would've given it some flavor, instead of leaving it in such a decrepit state. Where was the chaos?, the undeniable end? Where was the evil at? He had chuckled when he first witnessed it then too, though not as uncensored as he did now. "I suppose this was the eventual outcome of the higher powers playing their hands as they do," rolling his eyes at their lack of playing as vividly now. "It's no surprise they'd screw everything up, and leave the clean up to me." Now his lips rose to show his glistening teeth, perfectly rowed and spotless. Then he snapped back into reality again, and looked deeply at Faith. "Leave it to us," he corrected himself, wrapping his arm around her neck and pulling her comfortably against him. It was reassuring just to have her close to him like that. It made him feel.. complete. But more importantly, motivated to continue with his plans for the future. It would only be a matter of time now, before it all came spiraling down around Na'dian. It.. he'd crush her, personally. "We'll shatter realities together," His dark eyes looking at the barrier once more, now that her head rested on his. There was a faint glimmer, and the humming suddenly stopped. He grinned at the sight, a sure omen of things to come. "I think we should go and tell everyone the splendid news, he said, already teleporting them off. "Oh, how they'll be ever so excited."
