The last 413 days were nothing to Micah Madison and he wouldn't let his nerves get the best of him here. He had lived in disturbia before and this was just right up there with that. You see Micah had seen so many weird things since he had been here and had done many weird things, so what was the end of the world to him? Exactly and point proven. Leaning against the walls of the dirty building, Micah wondered where his boy toy was and wondered if he was playing last? He knew Flint only started his interest in him due to him being directly to that of Mr. Kane himself. God the lengths certain people would go to - to fulfill their certain desires. It was pathetic but Micah didn't mind if he was the ploy to someone's sexual frustrations. He kept the fact that he was bisexual away from him father though, then again they really didn't talk.
Today that was different it would change - he would make his father talk to him today and there was nothing that would come between them. Micah would beat the hell out of them and that was that! Clearing his throat, Micah walked around to examine the dirty playground of sin. This place was right up his fathers alley and it was the best place to find him. He would probably be around here somewhere prowling on some lonely defenseless girl but then again wasn't Micah? Hah. Only GOD knew that one.
Watching the doors to the building, he took in a deep breath and knew his father would be using it if he decided to show up. His style was to come in with a big bang and that was always how he had done things. Leaning up against the wall, he waited. Waited like he always did for his father and hopefully the hours would pass by as quickly as the would and could.

Four hundred and thirteen days? Was that all that had actually passed? It seemed like it should been recalculated and lengthened somehow. Like, an eternity. But as typical of long spans of time, it came and went and left little to no impression on him. No, he was hardly in any state to really care much for the days that passed. Four hundred and some odd days? Phooey. It hardly seemed more than a week to him. Like every and all days just melded into one long continuous cycle in his head. His body, on the other hand, felt it. Weary, slightly beaten, but never broken.. that was just how it was. Stepping through the shattered glass door, which had definitely seen better days, he assumed, he followed the inkling feeling in his mind to come here. He wasn't entirely sure why he'd want to come here.. simply that he felt the need to.
There should be more life here, he thought to himself. Especially if it was a functional facility, there should've been more activity. Lights, jamming beats and songs that made hearts throb and pour blood into the right spots to make the whole experience universal and complete. Seeing such a place, even this place, like this seemed.. wrong. Taking in a breath, as if a breath could really do anything in a place like this, he ducked under a fallen pillar and avoided getting scraped by a few loose nails afterwards.
And this was just the place for a few loose nails to be too, wasn't it? Moving discreetly through the rummage, he finally halted at the notice of a slightly shady figure, leaning against the tattered and broken wall as if the place wouldn't collapse at any moment now. He was personally surprised the roof hadn't entirely caved itself in by now, and even more so, that the single glass skylight still remained intact, even after all the damage around.

He was here and that was the honest truth. The power coming from his father almost confused him because Micah just thought he was sensing himself when really the object that he had so long craved was standing before him. Taking a sigh and crossing his arms over his well defined chest, Micah walked forward with the intent of hitting his father. He really wanted to just slam him really good in the face, just one time and with that he sighed. Micah was standing in the dark, so his father wouldn't know who it was and with that he stepped out into what little light resided in the dark building. Standing near a pillar that kept the roof of the building standing, Micah smirked and lifted his leg in a kick to the wooden shaft.
The building made an irksome noise as the wall behind him fell in and the roof between them caved in.
"Not so sturdy anymore is it?" laughed the only child of Viktor Kane and Faith Madison, and with that shook his head. There was so many good times that happened at this place and it was all before the world went wonky. Micah remembered when he first came into this world, how he worked the pole for fun. Hah. Male stripper...and the grandest of his kind. He was always doing something to impress the ladies and with that he stepped forward even closer to his father.
"Dad....um...father?" he said in a civil tone. The last time they talked they about pounded each others faces in, so he could only imagine how things would turn out this time. "How you been?" he asked trying to make idle conversation.

"Very little in this world really is anymore," saying it aloud, though really just thinking it to himself. He'd watched, with slight interest, as the ceiling fell down around them. There definitely was something about wanton destruction that was always so.. intriguing. Maybe it was just the wreckage that it did that appealed to him so much. Maybe it was something more deep rooted. Even so, there was no real reason to destroy what was left of this place. It was, after all, rather rundown and drugged out as it was. Now. Well, now it was just even more so. Like, as if time itself at seen fit to just pick at it more so than any of the other buildings. Perhaps it was just its way of saying the times, they were changing and that nothing of the old world would remain the same. "I'm fine."
At least, that was what he'd expect of this place, sooner or later. Just a faint memory for those who once frequented it so.
"Wait.. Father.. what?" stepping away from the voice and the figure that came with it. It was one thing to claim something, but that kind of claim this person was making.. it was reprehensible, at best. To think people still played such.. pranks, in this day, in this dying hour.. He just wouldn't have it right now. "Are you mad?" Backing away even more, at the thought of such an allegation being true. With all the wackos and psychotics that came out from their current predicament, there was no telling just how stable someone's mind could be. He himself wasn't entirely sure what had happened either, but sure as hell wouldn't try to reason it out. It just, simply, was.
"Look, I'm sure you're not delusional.. at least not as much as I'm assuming.." he said, slowly backing away as if sudden movements would startle the guy. "..so.. I'm just going to leave now.. Maybe you should too before this place decides to give up to gravity."

"True." spoke Micah as he shrugged his shoulders and pursed his lips. It felt so wrong to be talking to his dad. He hated his dead and somehow he was managing to control his anger the best that he could. His breathing was slow and calm, so it was surprise to him when his fists didn't clasp together as if he was super angry. "This world is falling apart and she's winning." he spoke with a furrowed brow as he spoke of the Red Queen. She was winning and in some ways it made Micah feel defeated. He wanted a better world for his mother and she shouldn't have to come back to this. Everywhere things were falling apart, death was almost a constant factor, and she wasn't with the one that she loved.
Maybe that was the reason why he was holding back his pent up anger so well? He didn't want to go against his mother's promise. She had told him that it wasn't right for him to fight with his father but he knew that sometime in the future that logic might have to be pushed aside. However for now, as long as his dad was calm - Micah would be to.
"I guess it's good to hear then." said Micah as he fiddled with the dirt and debris on the ground and sighed as his 'sperm donor' questioned him about being a father. "You really didn't know did you?" smiled Micah as he looked around and brought his hands in front of him in a apologetic gesture. "....and no....I'm not mad." spoke the son of Kane as he took a step towards his father. He knew his father was freaking out and probably thinking of the time he didn't use a condom. He wasn't particularly fond of them and Micah couldn't say he was either. In fact, it was probably something that they had in common.
"Your my father and I think if you think about it for a second you might know who my mother is." spoke the boy as he flashed the infamous Kane smile and the polished 'wink.' "You see my name is Micah." he said hoping he might catch on. "Micah Madison - Kane." he finished up quickly as his dad started heading towards the door of the building. Madison was the key that would make his father stand still in his tracks.

"Madison.." he repeated, as if that would jog had sort of memory. Maybe he knew of such a person, only having forgotten the name over time. He had found himself not remembering most of his childhood. Perhaps the mysterious 'Ms. Madison' was someone whom had been his childhood playmate.. only to have become more in the later years of their acquaintanceship. Or maybe it was another feeble attempt at milking him for his prestige and status. Though, he didn't think that could be worth much in this state of the world. Everyone, good or bad, seemed to just fit in with one another --something that was horribly wrong, yet he couldn't exactly figure how so. After all, there were no longer slaves, he didn't think.
Or maybe this was actually a mugging taking place. Dark place, falling surroundings.. this was a perfect scene for such an attempt. Even knowing his name seemed suspicious at this point, as if this Micah character had been stalking him. For a long period of time now, he would have to assume. It seemed it would take awhile to learn it all on short notice.
"I believe you're mistaken," he said clearly, his eyes looking directly at Micah. Even as he gazed at the face, he couldn't match it with anyone he ever met before. Nothing seemed to trigger in his head, and he couldn't possibly stick around to wait, especially if this was the worst of scenarios. "I'm sure you'll find your father some day, but today doesn't seem to be that day. Sorry." With that, he turned to make his leave, not even looking back for a moment to see if he was being followed. He had made his stance on the subject and he expected Micah to honor that and not pursue it any longer. This would no doubt be very discouraging..
But it did give him time to think over everything else that had been said. This world was seeing its last days, especially if this was the best that was going to be of it. But there was something that peaked his interest before he was completely out of sight. "Who's 'she'?" he asked, his head turning slightly. Just enough so that he could catch Micah in his sight. There was definitely something about him. "And why do you believe she's going to win?"

"Yes, Madison." Micah nudged hoping he surely hadn't forgotten! They had met before and even then, Micah was sure they had already had a conversation about this and if he was correct it was in a graveyard. Thinking hard about the event, he nodded to himself because it was slowly coming back to him! They had fought for a bit and then Micah went all static boy and disappeared without a say so. It was quite weird and it drove him nearly mad trying to find his father again, so that he could tell him off.
"I'm not mistaken! You are my father and your Viktor Kane! You met my mother once a couple years ago." he said knowing that the stupid dad of his was still drawing blanks. "She was a Madison, a Charmed One if you will!" he said as he felt his hands suddenly tighten. He didn't take lightly to being forgotten, he had that already happen to him years ago and he would fix this at no matter the cost. "You loved her and she loved you but she disappeared.....you didn't know where she went and she came back about a year ago!" spoke Micah his face become slightly flustered.
"She is out there right now...for all I know, she's dead." he spoke softly as he cleared his throat. "Last I heard from her, she was crying and she said that you two had gotten into a fight on the San Fran bridge before all this mess." he said as he walked forward and held out his hand. "Just touch my hand and I will show you." spoke Micah with uncertainness in his tone. He was going to his powers as a kind of vision, if only the powers that be allowed it.

"You didn't answer my question," he stated, turning his head back forward in thought. There was definitely something off with this one, and apart of him definitely didn't want to see what would suddenly go off if he remained here any longer than he had to. In situations such as these, it was better to simply leave well enough alone, before it got messy. And messes weren't exactly what he was looking forward to, especially so far away from home --that being the default word for anything in this place recently.
And then something caught his attention. "See.. that's another thing you've gotten wrong thus far." Turning his head to the side once more, to give the guy a glimmer of his attention. "I'm not Viktor Kane." Shaking his head slowly in precaution. So many facts and allegations were false, and that made things even more troubling for him than before. It was hard to just tell Micah off now, since their relation at this point was watery, at best. It seemed though, that Micah believed what he was saying.. and that counted for something. Just what it counted for was still in question.
He paused in consideration. As the hand was reached out, he didn't react to it much. Only a stray gaze, puzzled, looked from it to its owner. "I don't see how touching your hand will do anything significant enough to clarify your.. claims." His tone was even and firm, as he analyzed the situation further. There was definitely something looney about touching someone's hand to reveal something as important as blood relation, much less those of love. "I think I should go now.."

"I didn't answer your question?" said Micah as he threw up his hands in disbelief! What the fuck was Viktor talking about, it was as if he wasn't in his right mind and it was pissing him off! What the fuck was wrong with this douche! No wonder why his mother was always an emotional fatale all her life. This love story of theirs was like the fucking notebook and Micah didn't have the time for tears! Thinking back on his last few words, he finally understood what Viktor had been talking about. "Na'dain." he said as he pursed his lips and hoped he still remembered her. "You must know of the prophecy going around about the stars? About one of them coming to earth in the form of a girl?" asked Micah as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Na'dian has been destroying the stars...have you noticed how each night it's getting darker. Everytime she see's one, she freaks like a little bitch." said Micah as he shook his head.
"It's that bitch that ruined everything. Everything I tried to rebuild and she's doing it all over here in San Francisco." he said as he gave himself a while to think things out. He didn't know what to do with him, he was so out of his fucking mind and the only way to fix him was to show him his past. However he couldn't do that unless his father agreed to it.
Finally breaking his cool he looked at his father and ran a hand through his head. "OH MY GOD! YOUR VIKTOR KANE THE GREATEST DEMON IN THE WORLD AND A GOD! YOUR MY FREAKING DAD EVEN THOUGH I DESPISE YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU ARE!" yelled Micah as he held out his hand once more. "Just touch the freaking hand please!"

"And why, oh why, would you want a demon for a father?" his voice now cold and passionless as he slowly took in all this information. It seemed there were more things wrong with this kid than he'd initially assumed. But, being who he was, he was going to just take it all in and process it. "Why would you want me to be someone whom you so very much despise. Why would you go pursuing such an endeavor, if all it could possibly bring you is further hatred and chaos in your heart and mind." This time it wasn't so much as a question than stating simple facts about this man whom Micah knew as Viktor Kane, his father, who seemed to just make the poor child want his attention. "What use would it be in searching for something that taints your heart so much." He read Micah's face, and could see the torment it caused just struggling with confronting his father. "Maybe it would be better if you just.. stopped. Stop searching for something.. someone who will only end up breaking your heart."
He paused to let Micah take in those words of wisdom. He even came to turn around so that he was face to face with Micah, watching closely for any sudden revelations. "If I were any sort of 'god', as you say, why would I want all of this, any of this to happen?" Looking around the place, the ruins of a fallen city, he displayed his meaning. "Why would I let this ever happen in the first place."
Letting his arms fall to his sides, he continued to just watch. "Look, I don't know anything about a prophecy, or even who this 'Na'dain' person is.. I don't even believe in gods. And stars turning into people makes me think your high on something.." Even as he said it, an arm was raised and a hand held out. "But you seem to believe in it. I'm just hoping you can believe in it enough for the both of us."

"You don't understand! I can't just stop, I've tried and certain things keep happening bringing me back here....I want to stop! I really want to stop this crap but I go all static boy and disappear and brought back to this same out thing. So I know I don't want a demon for a father but there was a time my dad was a good and I admired him with all my heart. This time it's different he was a beast and I want to fix this primarily for my mother. I think her life here may depend on it and I want to leave her with my legacy....and if I can't be here to enjoy it with her, I want someone else....no matter how much I hate that person." spoke Micah as his nostrils flared due to the air that was leaving his body.
That's when Micah realized something this guy standing before him was what he wanted in a father. Not only did he care about his well being and where his father might be, he actually believed in Micah. This must of shown some signs of the Viktor that his mother had known. He would probably never know his real father and see him in the light his mother did but that was the price he would pay for coming here.
"That's my point exactly! You once fought beside my mother to try and stop this and now it's like you got amnesia!" spoke Micah as he cleared his throat as he shook his head. "I'm even a God because of you...well a Demi God but it's all the same right?" Micah smiled hoping that things were kind of making since now.
With his arms now beside him, Micah walked forward and put the palm of his hand in his fathers. It felt foreign to the boy and with that his hand started glowing a vibrant white. "This should feel you in."

the bright light from micah's hand starts shine even brighter as the memories start to pour back in from a higher power. the order of memories start back at the very beginning of the arrival of faith madison:
viktor see's himself sitting at at grand table with the source discussing the madisons and how viktor will lead them into this confusing war. the seen fades to when viktor first meets the madisons with leona barbados beside him. he remembers the feeling he felt when he saw her for the first time. the seen fades again and goes to another of where the two lovers pass on the romantic irony by throwing around shameful jokes. the scene fades one more time to when they were up in faith's bedroom talking deeply for the first time and he stays the night cradling her in his arms. the scene gets bad when micah shows him another time up in faith's room when they have a fight and viktor leaves her their crying on the floor. there is another time when faith preforms a spell to make viktor forget her and the spell backfires causing them both to forget. there memory is brought back once more and viktor then sees himself on the san fran bridge using his powers to destroying cars when he finds out that faith is forever gone. viktor also sees how faith is murdered by the tribunal and this is the first time he knew what happened to her, lastly he remembers the fates solider talking to him and showing him his life with faith and how they walk across the beach with micah following in behind them with a smile on their faces. he sees the wedding ring and realizes alot that he has missed. he sees himself upon the bridge once more and him belittling faith and scaring her to death with his animalistic ways. the vision ends and micah's hands are no longer glowing.

"It's typically the parents who leave the legacies.. not the children." he decided to add, before Micah got closer to him. It was an odd enough feeling to accept getting touched by an absolute stranger, but this one seemed genuinely fucked in the noggin. And yet, he didn't seem to mind it all that much that it came from a guy who was claiming to be his son. There was just something about the way he was speaking to him that made him second guess his own perceptions. Maybe there was some true to simple faith in others. Was it a coincidence that the boy's mother was, in fact, Faith? Whatever the case, or the belief may be, somethings just needed to be experienced.. even if it resulted in undefined mystery and danger.
As their hands touched, he noticed a sudden illuminating glow that could blind even the best shielded eyes. It was as if power itself, raw energy, was being sent through him at a phenomenal rate. And yet, there didn't seem to be any change to himself that would warrant such amazement, nor understanding for what Micah was talking about. It was as if he'd just hyped up all these fantastical things about his father.. expecting him to believe in it all.
"Look. That's some neat trick with the lights and stuff.. but other than your hands being really sweaty, I didn't learn much of anything." Withdrawing his hand back slowly, almost expecting a surge of information to pass into him, he was met with nothing. Slightly disappointed, he just opened and closed his hand to dismiss the tinging feeling.
He gave Micah a few moments to think about what had just happened.. before he finally spoke again. "I guess that confirms what I've been saying all along then.." Again, he paused. "Pity too.. since I'd want a son who was as passionate as you are about this." Smiling at the compliment he'd just given Micah, he quickly turned to excuse himself once more as he headed out the doorway. "I can only hope that my daughter will be like that.. soon" And he rounded the corner and disappeared from Micah's field of vision.

"Yeah by tradition the parents do but when your family was ripped about by fate, the 'supposed' children have to make that happen." he muttered to himself as he shook his head and looked his father dead in the eye. He wanted so much to get along with his dead but forces were at work in this world that were stronger then their bond. He wanted to be able to talk girls with his father, talk about the game that was on television and how the referee made the worst possible call, and tall about the girl he wanted to marry and his advice on the matter. That was how 'normal' was defined in the real world and he had none of that! He didn't even get to spend his childhood with his father and in fact maybe that was the reason he was so rough on the edges! Literally how would you act if you were raised by your mother and thought your dad was dead? Exactly you would be a little grudged to!
"It is huh?" said Micah as the light overtook the dark in the building and lit it up as if it was their own personal sunshine. He wanted this to work and for his father to believe him but dealing with magic was always tough. Right now he was using his powers for personal gain but he didn't give a fuck - he would use it for money, fame, sex if he wanted and he didn't care about the magical laws that governed him.
Micah's mouth dropped as his magical power became a failure. WTF! Why did the Innocent Magicks HATE him SO much! It was freaking retarded and they owed him this! More so, he wanted this! "I can't make you believe but you saw what I saw and that should had been proof enough." said Micah as a hurt look appeared over his face and Micah slowly began to move back from his father who as only about five to ten years older then him. "You had a son like that." said Micah as he turned from his father and started walking away. He had failed at his mission and with that he looked straight ahead as the dirt quickly settled beneath his feet. Nothing could stop him or so he thought as he the word "daughter" and "soon" spoke from Viktor's lips. Micah couldn't believe what his father had just said and with that closed his eyes as he fought back the tears. He couldn't do this now! He wasn't strong like Vik and as of now this proved it. Mother FUCK! Slowly turning he looked at his dad as he searched for the words to say. "....What....what do you mean?" he asked as it was terribly noticable that the boy was having trouble dealing with this news.

Too little, too late. Or, a little too late to be calling after a man almost a block away from him. Micah was well off not being exposed to him any longer anyways. It seemed the visage of him made Micah go.. insane? Unstable might be a better word to describe him. Apparently, he matched the appearance of his father.. a 'Viktor Kane'.. whom he could only assume had become somewhat of a dysfunctional father, who seemed to pass along that behavior to his son as well. It was a shame to have a child experience that, and having it being carried along to the child's adulthood. And now, it seemed to have had escalated into something much more.. erratic. Delusional, perhaps? He just couldn't be certain anymore. But with as much exposure he'd had with Micah, it seemed there was much work to be had should he ever find his father.. or if he were to seek treatment. And of course, there was the whole 'magic' thing..
"Yeah, right." he muttered, as he kicked a can out of his way. Out of all the things he didn't like about San Francisco, the trash was definitely one of them. And it hadn't been a problem a few years back. But now, it seemed there was definitely something cosmically bad at work. "Ooo! Maybe it was 'magic'." He even waved his hands around as if to cast something on the can to make it go away. Hey, if it worked, he was just one step closer to a cleaner San Fran.
Passing yet another block, another block away from Micah, he turned a corner suddenly in order to get out of both vision and sound range from the guy. Though he didn't want to believe the guy delusional, somethings couldn't be more clear. Even so, he would've liked to have had some hope, or sign that the city was going to get better. But seeing as it is, he couldn't help but get a tad bit discouraged that this was what they were going to be living in. For how long, though, he just couldn't be sure. It just.. didn't make any plausible sense. One moment, he was in breezy, comfortable San Francisco.. and the next, hell on earth. Just looking around this place now, he just wanted to get away. But want wasn't need, and he couldn't.. wouldn't give up on this place. He'd stay for the sake of staying. For the sake of rescuing this place from its tormented state. He'd even seen others here, roaming around. Though, it was nothing to be proud about, for it wasn't significant in numbers. But he supposed small numbers were better than no numbers at all, and it would take dedicated people to rebuild this place and change it for the betterment of the future.
