Wow guys, didn't even realize this existed anymore!

I'm sorry to say that as a developer, I'm a complete failure. I've had too many projects of my own going on and too much to do with school (even though its summer now) to do anything for you guys.

BUT, I figured, I signed on, so I owe you guys something. I have some experience with Invision Power Board, and I can get you guys a new skin, complete with new buttons and stuff.

The forum I run (you can take this as an example of my work) is s11.invisionfree.com/elite_spy_group It is worth noting that the code of my forum is identical to this one, except for the skin and images.

Will you guys take me up on my offer?

Yup, and what's more, I'm the project lead (though life's got the better of ME these last couple of weeks... unsure.gif )

I would agree with you regarding your developer comments, if it weren't for the fact that I've been horrendously and unexpectedly busy just lately. biggrin.gif If you're still interested I'm sure we could use your help, however, if you feel you don't have the time, that's cool too! (however, if you genuinely feel you don't have the time, would you mind if you were "demoted" to the general user group, rather than the Devs group...? I'm sure you don't need to be told why that would be a good thing from the Mod's point of view wink.gif )

On to your proposition: shiny new skin for the forum would always be welcomed, as this is a little bland. Equally though, I don't think I'd want to go too "space egg" with the design - it's a forum, not a user interface! If you can come up with some nice refreshed, but subtle skins I'd definitely be interested.

All of a sudden I have an interest in seeing this mod pull through, so yeah, I'll help with the story, which was my part.

As for forum scheme, I was thinking something green, in the soldier theme we have going. Changing the forum scheme requires me to have admin access, by the way.

EDIT: Looking around, I couldn't find anything good for what I had in mind, but this looks pretty cool.

Yes, I'm tired of seeing this plain SKy BLue theme!!! It's driving me nuts. Heheh welcome back El, I was in your same position, i got summer school and I've been catching up with my social life. And I'm getting a weekend job, so we'll see how that goes. So I hardly ever had time to got online and keep up with you guys. But by the looks of things, not much has happened.

I remember accessing this web site that had tutorials on programing for certain game engines. I'll post that just in case one of us is willing to take up the task of programing for the mod.

While that does look good, it really doesn't seem to fit. Maybe something with camo?

O.o...

How about we go with shades of gray? and make buttons a metallic color? maybe have some bullet holes and scratches here and the? Or if you wanna make it the same as the website?

EDIT: Here's something like what I had in mind.

That seems easy enough to make myself.

I just need to find the jpgs of the things used most often and I could photoshop them.
