Post 1: General; Post 2: Set-Up; Post 3: RolePlaying

General:

1) There is to be no discrimination toward any member(s) for any reason(s) on this site. This means absolutely no discrimination based upon race, gender, beliefs, or anything of the sort. We know personal, personality conflict-based disputes are bound to arise, but if you find yourself caught in something like this, talk to an Admin. We'll try to help you sort it out. If no solution can be found, just try to ignore each other, but do not bring other members into it, and do NOT allow any sort of discriminatory thinking to have any part in your actions.
(In-character discrimination is okay, so long as it is relative to and remains within the RP, and does not form an obvious pattern in all of your characters.)

2) Swearing is only okay for certain words; the worst ones are censored. Remember, there are other was to curse without resorting to words others may find offensive. For example, "Sweet Arceus that hurt!" =P

3) BE NICE. If I or any of the other the other Staff catch you abusing another player you will be warned. Everyone is to be treated with respect.

4) Newbies are to be treated with care. DO NOT pull rank or any of that stuff, k? Every last one of the internet's greatest RPers began as a newbie. ^^ They need nurturing, not bullying.

5) Noobs are fair game. A "noob" or "n00b" is any member, new or experienced, who acts like a true blue first-time newbie regardless of ample time, with plenty of help and advice given and no effort made to take it or improve. Noobs are very often, though not always, rude and disrespectful to those who try to help them, and tend to think of themselves as superior to others. DO NOT be a Noob. Read the rules and admit your mistakes. (Do keep in mind, given enough time and tolerance, some n00bs CAN develop into valuable members, but we can only hope.)

6) Do not double post unless with good reason (I.e. pulling out a character from a dead topic). It is just plain rude. Please, edit your post instead. (The occasional bump is also understandable, but do not make a habit of it; Mods, abuse your power to Bump without a double post when needed.)

7) No porn or any of that BS. Keep that stuff out of my forum. It's illegal online and IRL.

8) Follow ALL the rules. I don't care if you're a Mortal or a Major God. Break a rule and you get warned.

9) We have a five strike system. Get warned five times in succession and you will be temporarily Banned. A second Banning is permanent. Your warn level will drop one at the turn of each month, to be fair, or occasionally more if you do something really proving your improvement. (Admin Discretion)

Set-Up:

If you are confused about the lands, then this is here to clear things up.

They are listed from West to East, starting at the North poll. The descriptions also tell you what lands each different land borders.

When you move from one land to another, you may only move to an adjacent land, unless you can fly/teleport. Flying allows you to move to any land that is no more than three lands away, teleporting allows you to move to any land that is no more than four lands away. Being able to levitate, whether by move (I.e. Magnet Rise) or by ability, acts the same as being able to fly.

Common, non-intellgent pokemon, like Rattata and Pidgey, are not listed in the native family lists. Why? Because they live practically everywhere! The only places you will not find them are the Northern Wastes and the South Poll, and even then, don't be too surprised if you see one poke its head out of the snow...
These common pokemon often vary in colour and size between the lands, but are generally all the same.

RolePlaying:

1) On 1000 Year Post-Apocalypse, you RP as a 'wild' but intelligent Pokemon. Humans have been extinct since the day the apocalypse ended. This means you cannot be a human, and the only way to have had contact of any kind with humans is to be over 1000 years old, which is only capable of very old Ninetales or legendary Pokemon/hybrids.

2) Absolutely no GodModding and/or PowerPlaying. GodModding is defined as controlling more than you are allowed, including but not limited to the appearance of NPCs (other than your own, if you have any), the finding of items and the like, and controlling other members' characters or existing NPCs (other than your own). PowerPlaying is defined as making your character completely unrealistic in-RP, such as dodging every attack, or claiming your attacks can do/did unrealistic damage.
- On this note, you are NEVER allowed to kill another players' character or any NPCs without their owner/player's consent.

3) Long, high-quality RP posts are always prefered, but we understand not everyone has the same ability or time as everyone else. For this reason, we require every RP post to be a minimum of three-four lines. This is very easy to accomplish, but still ensures some thought in the post. After all, who wants to RP in response to "'Meh, I dunno.' He shrugged." as an entire post! That's no fun, silly! (On that note, the very rare post when having writer's block or wanting to reply without distracting from other characters currently in the 'spotlight' consisting of something short like that IS acceptable, but do not make a habit of it.)

4) Please, do not break the fourth wall. A lantern hung here and there is hysterical, yes. But this is a serious RP, and many people are really into it. It's hard to take over the world when you know you're being watched and controlled, though. :3 So please, even if your character has many a lantern to hang, don't let him tell the others he's doing it. ^^ Thank you.
